Only slight niggle was that the samosas were cold in the middle as they had clearly come out of the freezer and deep fried it's totally fine that they were frozen obviously but would've been nice if they were warmed right through to the middle. "This Indian restaurant in Edinburgh is probably one of the most overlooked gems. The food felt just like home-cooked meals and the flavors were so delicious that I ended up dining here two days in a row. "As someone who has been a cook for many years and a lover of Indian cuisine, I recently visited this restaurant for the first time on my birthday. I must say that I was extremely impressed and even a bit frustrated that I only have one stomach, as the food was truly magical and delicious. The dishes prepared by the chefs were a delight to the taste buds and I was completely enamored with the flavors. Additionally, the restaurant itself was beautifully decorated, clean, and pleasant. "Indian theme Resturant located next to temple in Wembley. I was impressed with their wraps around Harrow and Wembley , as per my experience they serve good quality and portioned wraps with Masala chips. Try their Cottage cheese wraps for £4.99 , it's fresh and made with fresh tandoori naan. The owners has planned and well executed theme of the Resturant as authentic to Indian Bollywood. They have also imported Royal Enfield bike and kept at display in the entrance which is impressive. The service is great and they follow the protocol for Covid. They have limited parking in front of the Resturant. Overall good experience so far."

"I've eaten here a few times with my partner and always been blown away by the food, so for my birthday this year I thought I'd arrange a meal with some friends to share the deliciousness with loved ones. Big mistake. The restaurant clearly don't want to cater for large parties (there were 12 adults and 4 kids in our group . We booked an early table at 5pm to make this easier for the restaurant and free up the space for evening diners. From the moment of our arrival we were treated with utter contempt, bits of our order never turned up, drinks took ages to arrive. When it came to leaving, we were told we had underpaid by £25 but previously the waitress had said we had completely covered before I'd even paid my portion so the £25 I paid for my meal was essential the tip (way more than 10% . The hostile manager wouldn't let us leave and insisted we pay the missing money plus a tip. After we left we checked all our receipts (though most of us paid in cash , added them up and saw we had indeed been swindled. I am genuinely devastated because I have loved eating here until this point, but I won't be going back because of the way we were treated. If you are a solo diner or couple then please do visit because the food is absolutely out of this world, but if you are a large party please avoid the awful experience I was unfortunate to have at the hands of such a grumpy man completely devoid of human kindness (who really shouldn't be front of house ."

"I used to go to this restaurant all the time 15 years ago and convinced many friends to make the trip out here. After ages I thought I would try this place again in August as I was in the area shopping for Asian wedding accessories. The staff were welcoming and friendly. I went into the bathroom to wash my hands prior to eating and ordering and I was just disgusted by the smell. It was like a toilet in India that rarely (if ever gets cleaned . I was so disgusted by the smell just in the sink area I didn't even want to think about how clean the actual toilets were or the kitchen. I also don't know if the staff used the same toilets but if they do I have major concerns about the hygiene levels in this place. I walked out before ordering anything (thank God! . I will never return here again."

"I had been here many years before and was delighted it was still open. However although we said we had booked the table on first arriving, it didn’t appear to register. Our coats were not taken and hung up because quite simply there isn’t this service . Instead seeing I was struggling on the tiny two seater table to place my coat anywhere we were ushered to a two seater right at the back by the serving hatches and I was told I could put my coat on top of the utensils behind. Only when we ordered quite a substantial meal and drinks did another waiter seat us at a larger table opposite where our meal could ‘fit’ and my coat could be placed next to me . The meal was however delicious. At the end I mentioned again that we had made a prior reservation but I still don’t think this registered."

"I would support everything that previous reviewers have said about this Indian restaurant. However, they must be aware that they add 10% service to their total without it in any way. so it is only if they cancel the bill, they will notice that their total amount should be 10% more than it should be and there is no warning why. no rake 10 service and no carry in the gap. this is dishonest and misleading and probably leads to an ugly 20% tip. I have always added service without recognizing that they contain it a very underhand and hidden art. I asked the waiter who became a little shy and said his boss told them to do it. I like eating, but I'm not going back."

"We had family visiting so decided to try the restaurant in Bridge of Don. We were a mixed group from regular Indian foodies to my wife’s mother age who had never eaten spicy food before. Serg, the manager met us and immediately struck up a rapor with our group, telling jokes, making a fuss of “Mum” and making us feel very welcome. He advised on the menu and wine and settled us down to what was a very memorable evening.In short, wine was great, food amazing and the staff could not have been more attentive. "Very disappointed. I ordered from Shri Bheema because on its website it said the Bridge of Don location was open. I ordered for collection with the JustEat website quoting me for pickup. When I finished processing the order at the confirmation said pickup had changed to Not ideal, but manageable. I arrived at the Bridge of Don location to find out that it was closed and the food was coming from Belmont Street. I was disheartened by this, but they explained they could not get staff from India to fill the kitchen. I really want to be sympathetic, but it was before my food arrived which leads to my poor review. The food was good. Lamb korma was light and sweet, perfect for my kids. Chicken patia was surprisingly spicy, but so delicious I ate through the sweats. The naan was huge and each curry would give two generous portions. However, Shri Bheema is more expensive than others and if you can't get the food in good time, then my view is it isn't worth it."

"What an amazing restaurant. My sister and I visited on a trip from Devon as a birthday treat. The menu was extensive but we were given plenty of time to choose. All our food was really delicious. We were asked how spicy we liked our food and both our dishes were perfect. All the staff were friendly and polite and the whole place was spotless. We sat near a family who told us they were regulars as the food is so good and they treated us to a delicious paper dosa to try as we’d not had them before. It was a really enjoyable evening and I’d highly recommend this lovely restaurant."
