Toasty bread with melted cheese, a classic comfort.

"I was impressed by the excellent quality of the fries at this restaurant. They were fresh, crispy, and perfectly seasoned. Our visit was enjoyable, as we originally came for takeout but were instead invited to dine in on a rainy day. The restaurant is exceptionally clean, beautifully decorated, and the staff is friendly. I wish them success as they return to normal hours starting this Monday. I highly recommend trying their grilled wings and the delicious milkshakes. A big thank you to the staff for a wonderful experience."

"I came away from this restaurant thinking that they do classic Meat and Fish dishes extremely well and with an extra twist. Their T-Bone steak was amazing and so was the catch of the day. Seems like real thought and invention was put into the side plates and they were a real joy; the chippy chips, Halloumi Fries and Peanut Butter Cornbread. I also had a few Cherry Sours which were amazing. We were sat next to the toilets and kind of felt away from the main restaurant and ambience so that's the only minor negative point for me. However the food more more than made up for it."

"Food was superb , Salmon was delicious and the P&P burger was cooked to perfection and ultra tasty. The service was fantastic, attended to as soon as we entered even though it was extremely busy and the drinks were brought to our table instantly. The food was cooked very quickly and was piping hot and delicious. A very lively bar and most definitely worth a visit."

"I ordered a turkey gobbler sub and was surprised to find it made with smoked turkey and without jellied cranberry sauce. Unfortunately, the sub was quite disappointing and very salty. My friend paid for it, so I didn't voice my concerns at the time, but the shop really needs to improve their sub-making skills. I used to run a deli, and our turkey gobblers were definitely worth reordering, unlike this one."

"It didn't start off very well as despite booking online and calling to confirm my reservation, upon arrival they didn't have a table for us. After a few minutes back and fourth they finally had us seated. Waiting staff were very friendly and kindly tended to us throughout. Unto the food.... It is prepared quite quickly, cooked really well full of distinctly Latin flavours. The tapa-style dishes were quite enjoyable and gave us some variety. The rice bowls were like a deconstructed burrito while the cachapa was a burrito with a corn flour wrap. The ambience is quite lively full of Latin inspired music and youthful exuberance. I think the price is not cheap but not expensive somewhere in the middle, but it is quite an authentic meal. So if you're looking for something a little different, good vibes, then this is the place but not somewhere for a quite romantic dinner to say the least."

"The restaurant was tucked away in a side street of a pretty quiet road so not the kind of place you regularly stumble across. However I’m glad I did cause it was a great dinner. The service was exceptional and recommended us some of the dishes that were really good and all of it was really nice. In terms of the drinks the cocktails were decent enough and the Venezuelan beer ‘Polar’ was particularly excellent The main portion sizes are a little on the smaller side but if you get a couple of tapas dishes with it to start then it’s pretty much perfect for 2 people Overall will for sure be going back and would definitely recommend it!"

"This place sounds and looks like it will be great, however unfortunately it falls short. I've had BBQ other places which has been better, for a lot less money. It's very expensive. The brisket is a little tough, and came in sauce (would have been better on the side in case you don't like it) on a cold plate which made it go cold very quickly. The mozzarella sticks were served on a cold sauce and plate which also meant they went cold quickly. They weren't melted in the middle like you would expect either. The fried chicken is nice with good seasoning. The onion rings we had weren't good, the batter was floury in places and didn't cover the whole ring so hadn't been cooked very well. The music in there is far too loud, which then causes everyone to have to raise their voices when talking, to which the staff responded by turning the music up! Overall, over priced and a little soul-less."

"Visited for dinner with my wife on Saturday evening. The restaurant was busy which was reassuring. This place is not cheap especially for zone 3 south London! so my expectations are high. We went for a 2 course set menu £26.50 and shared a bottle of Prosecco £25 . For starters we both had the homemade tagilitelle with beef ragu... Soooo dry and bland, neither of us finished. There was also no offer of cheese or black pepper maybe Covid but can’t see why? . Mains came out pretty soon after but were sadly both also pretty unexceptional, duck breast cold with some veg and chips had to pay extra £4 for these and wife had a fish dish she didn’t enjoy and again had to pay an extra £4 for a side dish to make it an actual meal. After a pretty disappointing dinner we ordered the bill And coffee, which took 25 minutes and three requests to arrive !! . What frustrated me the most was the automated iPad style payment tablet, which suggest a number of service charge options which start at 15% going up to 25%.... Of course you can adjust this but to suggest that your local customers should consider no less than a 15% tip is quite insulting in my opinion especially for me who had to wait almost half an hour for the privilege of paying . Two course meal for 2 with wine and service a generously edited 12% was £103. Worth it? Definitely not."

"We had a nice meal on our first visit to Flippin cheese. The restaurant has a nice friendly, casual atmosphere. The menu is quite extensive. We found it difficult to choose just one meal. We shared a portion of beer battered cheese curds as a starter. Which came with a trio of dips and was just delicious. For my main I had the Flippin raclette cheese "Pig in ' (or out) I can 't remember. It was really nice. The bed of smashed potatoes was lovely with raclette smothered on top. Pepperoni and pulled pork etc off to the side and a few pickles as well. The Pickles were a refreshing change to the mouthfuls of cheese. But really enjoyed the whole dish. It 's all very cheesy! I 'm looking forward to going back and trying the poutine and fondue and mac cheese!! The others in my party all had macaroni cheese. I have to say I was a feeling a bit jealous when I saw their dishes."

"Wow!!! My partner and I ate at The Angel Curry Centre this week. The food was excellent. You can bring your own wine/ beer which cuts the bill down considerably which is brilliant considering the cost of living. I even had lunch the next day because of the huge left overs. The waiters and chefs, they have two, Ahmed Koxes who has been there for 30 years and Nizam Uddin Ovek who has been there 22years were just lovely. Their amazing waiter gave us a full history lesson on Indian, Pakistani and Bengali relations! What a fabulous gem in Chapel Market Angel. Incandescent Sean here"

"Very comprehensive menu with varied choices. The only thing was there was a set menu choice and I am sure some of our party made choices that would have fitted the set menu. It was not explained to us whether we could 'mix and match ' so we paid full price for everything. The night we attended there was a live band which was very good although it did make eating a meal a little difficult as the staff were a bit distracted by the band. Notwithstanding that, we would definitely go again knowing what to expect."

"Superb! Went on a Saturday night, it was (unusually) warm outside so we sat next to an open window which made us feel like we were on holiday. Food was top, everything we had was delicious and the bread that was provided to us was absolutely delicious, so delicious that we had seconds. Highly recommended! I especially loved the beetroot starter and the custard tart."

"This traditional pub, wow, great food, great service, good prices, always full and busy!! Had a really good experience at The Dennington Queen (again), and had some amazing food, but the service, everyone we dealt with couldn’t be more helpful, we had just about the right amount of attention without it being intrusive which made for a great evening. Choices were excellent, even for vegan food and they were happy for us to mix and match choices around. Cauliflower starter is insanely good, as was the sweet chilli chicken and sticky toffee pudding! Coming back again before we go home."

"The evening was totally spoilt by the service. Arriving at 7.20 for our 7.30 table we waited an hour for three starters our party was for 7 people. 25 minutes later we are told our mains would arrive in 5 minutes, 35 minutes later the waiter came and told us that they had run out of chips! Absolutely unacceptable. We had been there over two hours and 5 of us had not eaten anything now being told that they had run out of , what should be staple item on any menu is unbelievable. We paid our bar bill and left. Unfortunately we would not go back ,nor recommend to anyone else. Our party had met from different areas for a pre Christmas meal so it was a big disappointment."

"I have sat this beautiful French restaurant for birthday and enjoyed it. for dinner is a set menu of 2 curses just £17,90, which is amazing for a French restaurant in the center of london. the chicken liver starter had a great aroma profile and was perfectly saucy. the hanghock starter was also delicious and wonderfully cooked. for the net was the black booze dish delicious, not too fat, but not too smooth. the portions are larger. Intimate ambiente with dim hanging lights. the service is also immaculate. I can't wait to go again!"

"Really good food and a beautiful environment this is a nice restaurant to sit and watch, the world go by, he fringes of downtown. The ducks tacos were absolutely beautiful and eggs and sourdough very tasty smaller points of feedback would be to try to encourage customers to check on the way and follow after entry, instead of simply letting it sign as we missed this on entry and only checked on the way. In addition, the server was very friendly and the entire atmosphere was very nice"

"I often visit this coffee shop in the industrial area, and the staff are always friendly, polite, and customer-focused. They even remember my usual drink, a matcha latte, and make it perfectly every time. The coffee shop is clean and has a great atmosphere. I give them five stars."
