"We had a great experience at The Ivy Clifton Brasserie. Despite making last-minute changes to our reservation, we were seated early, and the service was patient and attentive to our group’s needs. The menu had excellent vegetarian and vegan options, along with a dedicated children’s menu. I particularly enjoyed the onion soup and truffle arancini. The décor was beautiful, and we took many wonderful photos during our time together. Fresh ingredients, great flavors, and a lovely atmosphere made for an enjoyable meal. Highly recommend for families and those seeking quality vegetarian or vegan dishes."

"Me and my husband took our 2 children down The Bull for lunch a few Saturdays ago. Excellent for the kids as have play area, children's booths and had a bouncy castle that particular weekend. Love how accommodating they are for children.... slush puppies, popcorn, mocktails, icecream, fab kids menu etc. We had a nice bit of food too, love the summer grill menu. Place was well maintained and clean. Staff were very friendly. Bit of a wait at the outdoor bar but what do you expect on a Saturday when the weather is lovely! Will be returning soon, thank you for a great afternoon!!!"

"I had a terrible experience at this restaurant. The service was shocking and absolutely dreadful. I used to order takeout from here frequently, but in the last few months, the pizza was always undercooked and had very little toppings. I decided to give them another chance and placed an order for iftari at 8pm, but they changed the delivery time to 9:20pm without informing me. When I called to inquire about the delay, the person on the phone said she was also fasting and that I had to accept the new timing. When I asked for a refund, she hung up on me. I called back and spoke to multiple unhelpful staff members, including a woman who claimed to be the manager named Nosh. She was no better and provided poor customer service. The lack of professionalism and rudeness from the front desk staff was shocking."

"This was place was recommended to me but I was extremely disappointed, the only good thing here was the starter's we got wings and Mac and cheese which we really enjoyed however the mains was an extreme let down. All the dishes came cold and took forever, I had steak which taster horrible I ended up not even eating it and just having my chips. The chicken dish had absolutely no flavour whatsoever it tasted bland and greasy even this we couldn't eat. The only decent thing was the baby back ribs but even those were cold. This place was a real let down. We even got brownie for dessert and it was dry and tasted super old. However the staff were friendly and helpful which was also a good thing about this place. But if you are thinking you will get good food here I wouldn't say so."

"Heaven help you if you want to select two starters from the £19.17 lunch menu and no main course. I was told the Polish owners rules don’t allow it. So much for pleasing your customers. No doubt it’s something to do with the IT system yet another example of technology trimphing over real service (as opposed to the PR version of service). In the end I had to pay for each of the starters and guess what? The total came to just over £19.17. Petty and ungenerous behaviour I call it."

"What a great venue in the village. They had a couple of faults but the food and the atmosphere more than made up for it. Instead of 3 stars, which I would have given for the reason below it saved it to 4. The food is very good and the menu is extensive and caters for vegetarians with a separate menu. On the downside they run out of bread and a certain beer, plus turning up 20mins before the reservation we were asked to leave and come back at the right time..... why not allow us to wait at the bar. So overall a good experience."

"I go there fairly regularly because I'm lucky enough to live not too far away. It's the best value for money restaurant that I know if you want exceptional service and an exotic, beautiful décor at an affordable price. The summer menu has a strawberry, lavender and elderflower trifle that is just to die for !!! This alone is worth the trip over... A real OMG moment. "my friends and I enjoyed the 3-course party set menu 21.5) and it is certainly a good example for Mediterranean cuisine for a beginner I had the supposed fresh king skallops', served in a citrus juice. a bit cheesy, but definitiw a good choice for the starter. for my main course I decided for the restaurants recommended underwriting court, confit lamb. the lamb is slowly boiled and then pressed into a cylindrical shape. the meat melts on the rim and is very succulent a good place to go for a group dinner, reasonable price and a wonderful worth. make sure to make a reservation!"

Despite this hiccup, I can't fault the food or the staff, and the prices were very reasonable, especially considering the high quality of the dishes. "I discovered Amigos about three years ago and have eaten there or taken food away on several occasions. I loved the food. After a break of about a year, I went in yesterday and was quite disappointed: the food is completely different from what I remember, unremarkable and very disappointing. I have had better taste and flavours in frozen meals from Farmfoods. Clearly, the kitchen staff (I wouldn't go as far as to call them chefs! have changed but sadly, all good things about the food that I remember and felt attracted to, have gone too. I will not go there again."
