"we have booked this restaurant to celebrate a 40th birthday. the restaurant came on reccomdndation and I must say we were not disappointed. the food was excellent and the staff was very attentive. the whole evening was a full success and everyone was well fed and happy. the menu is diverse and competitive price, and the staff could deal with our large group as well as the rest of the restaurants on a busy Saturday night. we will be back in the future."

"This was our 3rd visit to Mala in just over a year. Our experiences have always been the same, not all the staff are that welcoming, not rude, just not the most friendly, however the food has always been very good. Not the cheapest Indian restaurant but we get that bearing in mind it's location on St Katherine's dock. Ultimately for us we go for the food so on that basis would highly recommend."

"We enjoyed a substantial meal with impressive portion sizes that offered great value for money. The service was generally good, although the staff seemed a bit overwhelmed during busy moments. They did a commendable job overall. The only downside was the music; it felt more like a nightclub than a restaurant, with the same 4 or 5 tracks on repeat, which were quite upbeat. A bit more variety and a lower volume would have enhanced the atmosphere. Despite that, we had a wonderful experience overall. This was our second visit, but we only come to Bradford occasionally."

"dissatisfied when we often visit the Bradford industry that we love, we thought we would try the Preston industry as the menu was a little different. we reserved one table and it seemed that they could not find our booking, after all they found him and sat us. the menu has been torn apart and falling apart, our food coming over 30 minutes, we were not told how long it would take. my man ordered a steak and sweet potatoes and a sauce. the sose came 10 minutes after receiving the steak, he had finished the steak and the sweet kartoffel friries did not arrive yet, although a waiter said they were on the way. When I asked a woman I suspect is the manager, she said, we don't sell her anymore, for another member of the staff, and say we have some and we make her. the whole experience was terrible and would not return to the Preston branch. I add the mocktails tasted beautiful, but eating is much better in the bradford filiale"

"it was necessary to eat something after check-in in our hotel. everything around the Excel headquarters was closed or really quiet at that time. However, we have seen some reviews on the custom house pub and thought we would try. at the arrival it was also quite quiet and a little tired look. However, the staff were friendly and efficient and eating was really good. we had the homemade cake and I must say it was one of the most beautiful I had. would recommend the court!"

"We booked in for the deal; courses ppn inc. a choice of mezzes as starter. On arrival, noone cared that we had booked, I was later told they didn't have my booking they did. I'd asked for an accessible table for a wheelchair, but no notice was taken. We tried to confirm the deal, but the waitress didn't speak enough English cue a long wait for someone else, who confirmed the deal, then as we ordered said we were wrong, the deal was wrong. A complete disaster, they blamed OpenTable didn't do any favours at all offering us a set menu for which would have cost more than ordering separately! When the food finally came, it was pretty good, but nothing special and it's just not worth dealing with the service"

"Where do I start; went to heaven and came back! Hunted this place out online as a place to grab food before seeing a gig at the Utilita Arena The drinks were freshly squeezed fruit juices. Mango juice and carrot and orange made in front of you We got a lamb kofta, chicken shawarma and mixed grill. All 3 meals were superb. the flat breads were in constant supply and the sauces and veg on side delicious Will be coming back again when next in newcastle. "we had our drinks reception at the loft and our meal and evening reception for our high time in penthouse (above the loft) on Saturday 17th February. I can't blame the place or the staff. from the second we booked to look at the penthouse, the employees were attentive and heard everything we wanted. juni and terry went beyond and beyond in the lead to our high time to ensure that everything was perfect. we even pulled our drinks reception down in the mainbar ahead only 2 weeks, and that was not a problem. the decoration in the ground floor gave our drinks reception a relaxed feeling and we could decorate the main room in the upper floor exactly according to our taste/theme. the chef and his team have worked with us to create a fully customised three-course menu, and the service and experience we had on the morning were 5.* all the employees who worked at the evening of our high season at the penthouse were brilliant! I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to eat a bite, a few drinks or someone who organizes a private function. I'm sure it won't take long until we get back. thanks to katie and sean"

"@marcoandcarl Review It never stuck to us that this restaurant would be Halal given its name! But to our surprise, we found out not only was it Halal, it was HMC approved! Marco Carl is located within the Bradford Leisure Exchange. They specialise in Stone Baked Pizzas, Freshly Prepared Pastas, Matured Steaks and Hand Crafted Burgers. They claim to use the freshest ingredients available to create traditional Italian dishes with a modern twist. We have tried a number of items they offer on the menu on the two occasions we have visited. A range of the wings they offer for starters. You can request a combination of flavours if you like. However, the Carl’s Secret Sauce Wings were bursting with sweet flavours which was a little too sweet for our liking. The other wing flavours were nice. Houmous and Tzetziki Meze. This was served hot and fresh and tasted yummy. Double Decker Burger where you can choose Double Beef or Chicken or try one each of Beef and Chicken, served with Burger Mayo, Salad, Cheese, Relish Gherkins and Chips. It was nice but the Chicken patty was a processed patty, rather than fresh chicken which was disappointing. Chicken Espetada Tender Cubed Chicken Breast skewered with Peppers served with salad, a choice of Sauce and a Side. Choose from Gombero, Capritto, Creamy Mushroom, Peppercorn, Gazebo sauces and Chips or Spicy Rice for the sides. Meat Fire House Stone Baked Pizza. The pizza is freshly prepared using the finest Italian ingredients. It is cooked in a wood fired oven and topped with beef steak, chicken, mozzarella, roasted peppers, green chillies, crushed chillies. Didn’t really enjoy this pizza as it wasn’t tasty at all! Not enough tomato or cheese and had a very thin base. Pesto Vegetarian, this is penne pasta in a creamy pesto sauce with roquito, spring onion, sweet corn and roasted peppers. The pasta would’ve been very tasty if hot! Please be aware, since our last visit, the Bradford branch HMC certification has been revoked. "

"Being a South Indian who recently moved to Nottingham, I was always on the lookout for a restaurant that retained the authenticity of the cuisine. Utsav is that place! No other restaurant here even comes remotely close. The owner, Mr George, is a really nice, hospitable gentleman who truly cares about his customers. The servers are very courteous and kind too. Utsav's mutton biryani is the best! Some other recommendations on their menu are the lassis, dosas, lamb chops, chicken lollipops and the Cochin prawn curry. Definitely coming back here again. :"
