"Really unhappy with our family meal. We ordered the shared £36 mixed grill for 2 people that came with 2 sides, the meat portion was very small. We left very hungry and had to order a takeaway when we got home. The food is overpriced and portions are very small. We also ordered chicken burgers for the kids which were fine but again very overpriced as it comes on its own and you have to pay another £3.90 for chips to be added £11 for a kids meal and £14 when we added the drink). I am happy to pay for a good meal but we left after the main because we were so disappointed. This ruined our family treat out."

"We came here for our group Christmas meal, as a party of 21, so it was never going to be perfect. The table was not fully laid when we arrived, and we needed to ask for cutlery. They forgot one person's drink. They did not have the range of beers listed on their website. Getting tap water was not easy. They assured me that it would only take about 20 minutes to cook the food if we had everyone's order together when we arrived (which we did). It was about 20 minutes after we had all finished our poppadoms before the main dishes arrived, which was not how I interpretted what they had said. The toilets had not been cleaned that morning. The first person to use the toilets from our party had to find the lights themselves. The food was good, but it took a long time for them to get everyone's meals to the table. The only positive was that they gave us 50% off the food bill, so the bill was very reasonable."

"the personal was attentive and friendly. food prices were very reasonable and food quality was excellent. I had set the plate of 8 with an extra dish of calamari. the squid was really well cooked and the dish was excellent. the plate was also fantastic and the bumblebee was great. both the meatballs and the meat in the Filo bakery were excellent. the chicken wings were excellent and would order them on their own when I left."

"I love Carribean food and this is by far the best I've had in Manchester. Lovely decor inside the small, quaint restaurant. We had the jerk chicken and the curry goat. The curry goat was sensational and really delicious with a side of macaroni cheese. The dumplings were crisp and the plantain was fresh. The service was excellent and the team working were lovely. We were served by Harrison, Phoebe and Lily and they were all really attentive, they helped make the meal a really special one. The portion sizes were excellent and it is great value for money. I plan on making a monthly trip to this restaurant! I've lived in Manchester for 2 years now and this is by far the best food I have eaten throughout all of Manchester. Highly recommend."

"The restaurant was decent, featuring a nice selection of food, although the choices weren't extensive. We were surprised to find that we were the only guests on a Friday evening at 7:00 PM, with only two other people arriving during our visit. We opted for the set menus, which, surprisingly, were available despite not being advertised for Fridays. We started with prawns, followed by fishcakes (which were somewhat small), and concluded with a delightful vanilla ice cream. Everything was quite tasty, and our total bill was around £40 for two adults, which included a half carafe of house red wine and a bottle of water."

"Nostalgia creeps in when I think of Lahore restaurant. For starters it was my first time in London and a couple of friends dragged us along to get a taste of authentic Pakistani cuisine. Be rest assured my experience was worth a wonderful memory. Its a typically close knit ambience like we have here in India therefore a more spacious seating arrangement is highly recommended. Regards the food don't give their seekh kebabs, karahi gosht, pakistani chicken biryani, karahi mix veg and peshawari naan a miss. I look forward to another visit to the UK and out here soon :"

"from the arrival on stk ibiza we were greeted with a Spanish purer who spoke to us the head shaken and aggressiv on Spanish to another employee and admired so that we feel very comfortable and not welcome. we then sat in a table. the corner next to the toilets, there were other tables available, but we were recommended that the restaurant was fully booked and we could not move. from the second we went into we were told that we had to leave a certain time as we had not requested additional booking, but this was not specified on the website. throughout our meal the staff turned to us, and at one point we had to pour out our own wein, because it was repeatedly ignored by our waitress, but the table next to us received consistent and regular service and a point with two waitresses. during the ordering it would have been helpful to discuss the sizes of the sides, as these were good portion sizes and could easily be shared between people instead of allowing us to order numerous pages, and laugh when we caused so much waste. No one came to ask us how this was or whether we want something else. in the payment of the bill we have explained that we were not satisfied with this service, so would not pay the additional service fee, the waitress laughed about us and repeatedly said: "What was wrong with the service?" shows no understanding or willingness to take over some constructive criticism. the entertainment should not be classified as entertainment as it is dancing out of two girls and another girl swinging around some lights if they are a proper entertainment and service I strongly recommend liò about this restaurant."

"First time visiting and what a experience! The restaurant has been on my list to visit for awhile but just didn't get around to it. The ambience and interior of the place is amazing! By far one of the best looking tamil restaurants and it's very apparent that they take good care of the place. Even the bathroom was extremely clean and maintained. The service was tremendous. The 2 gentlemen working were extremely polite and attentive. They refilled are drinks when they noticed themselves it was low. The food was a bit of let down especially given the price point. As a tamil I have had alot of kotthu rotis and devil's and as much as the taste is very unique it's not worth the severe price point. The portion size for the kothu was nice but the devil was rather small and just about enough. I would highly recommend to give this place a go if you are going on a date or with friends. "Called in advance to reserve table.Arrived at restaurant which was not particularly busy.Having been given a choice of seat we sat and waited patiently for a menu to arrive.After 10 minutes of waiting, I had to go up to the bar and ask for a menu.The waitress arrived a further 10 minutes later and asked us if you guys are ready to order now . My wife is a vegetarian and at the time of reserving the table, I had specifically asked whether a vegetarian roast could be provided, and was informed that it could.Which was reassuring as it was Mothers Day and my wife is very partial to a veggie roast.Which is why I choose this restaurant.We asked for a veggie roast and was told that none was available on the mothers day menu for vegetarians but could have the menu item for vegetarians which was the vegetarian kebab. Which is basically a bowl of white rice and chucks of stir fried vegetables and salad on a pita bread. Something I could have done at home.My wife was most unhappy but as we had travelled a long way and it was far too late to go elsewhere she acquiesced and reluctantly ordered the kebab as this was all that was available for her to eat.There was fish and chips, but not on mothers day. The service was extremely slow and a number of other tables customers could be heard complaining about the slow service. The staff seemed unbothered, uncaring, there was no apparent hustle and no attention to detail. The only saving grace was the manager who appeared to be doing mostly everything himself, whilst the staff slow walked food to the wrong tables twice, which happened on two separate occasions during this visit.It is regrettable that there is a 12.5% service charge. Ordinarily I would complain openly and directly to the manager and refuse to pay this charge, but as it was Mothers Day and I could clearly see the manager was struggled with incompetent staff, and my wife was upset, we finished our main meal declined the desert and left."

"Was recommended this place by colleagues and friends, thought I'd give it a try. Upon entering, there was nobody there to assist us to our tables (made reservations prior) so we had to search for someone to get us a table. I ordered the 18oz Iron steak, which was ok, nothing great but not too bad either. I found that the food was overpriced for it to be simply medicore in fact. I ordered a vanilla cheesecake for dessert, it seemed like it was taken out of the fridge straight away and had a very funny damp taste to it- if that makes sense at all. It did not taste fresh or good at all. Was horrible. The Mojitos ordered were bland mostly comprising of ice ratio and less drink- therefore just tastes like bitter water. Overrall, the food was below mediocre and kind of overpriced. On the bright side, the view is nice as its situated on the Westferry riverside overlooking the river Thames. Further, the ambience was good, but that depends if you like loud music and large crowds of noise. Would not be returning here again unfortunately."

"a walk in front of the interior of the venues was still breathtaking as there were promises when the dinge would be open to be a very demanding and luxurious venue. the back was absolutely as brilliant and the setup was almost as the speed dating in thinking the 2 meter rule for covid, which was beautiful as each division divided with plastic plate for hygiene. the service was absolutely brilliant to forget the coworkers name one of the young and three of the ladies, of whom I took a picture brilliant. the Brunch setting was absolutely to die for and so good value for her money as she, where always great kitchen, cooked perfect and floorless cocktail made perfection, it was absolutely a 10/10 experience that I would definitely do over and over again!"

"I informed the restaurant about a food restriction when I made the reservation. I also confirmed the food restriction when I ordered. Unfortunately, every dish I ordered was served with small amounts of substance. this could have been an honest mistake, but I didn't get a statement why I ordered pure white rice and instead got rice with small amounts of the substance. the host was courteous and recognized his fault and offered to reorder my court (but not the court of my companion that we wanted to share). Unfortunately, the new court, which appeared as a substitute, was too salty and had a bitter aftertaste. my humiliation, the curries are mediocre. I didn't cost my meal."

"My family of six has dined at this restaurant many times in the past. However, during our visit yesterday, I was extremely disappointed with the manager's attitude. When a hair was found in the lamb shank in the kabuli pulao, my husband brought it to the manager's attention. The manager's response was that they have only male staff, so it wasn't their fault that hair was in the meat. He also said that if we couldn't afford to pay, we should leave. This kind of attitude was unacceptable. Despite the manager ultimately removing the cost of the kabuli pulao from our bill, the overall treatment of customers was really disappointing. I will not be returning to this restaurant in the future."
