"Excellent venue. Food was delicious and mostly large portions. Loved the Goats Cheese Salad, which was so flavoursome! Also liked the chicken was huge,!! Great band too. Thought it might have been too loud as we were sitting right next to them, but it wasn't. The service was exemplary (unfortunately I can't recall the name of our server). The head waiter must have heard me mention that it was my friend's birthday and brought her out a birthday plate complete with candle! My only small complaint would be that instead of one large table, we were seated at two round ones, which wasn't brilliant. But that didn't stop us from having a lovely evening."

"We used a Groupon deal for a meal at 6:00 p.m. The menu was different from what was advertised, but we were still able to order the steak with the deal. There wasn't much else on the menu that caught our eye, so we all ended up ordering steak and chips with a peppercorn sauce. We also ordered a fresh fruit salad for myself and a sundae for my son. The portions were generous and everything was freshly prepared. Overall, the food was tasty and the service was friendly and attentive."

"Cannot rate this place highly enough. The food is fantastic and a fair price for the quality offered. I would definitely recommend the mushrooms- absolutely delicious! The service was brilliant-prompt but not rushed and all the staff were friendly and welcoming. Not somewhere to go for cheap eats, but definitely somewhere to go for a evening out and a great dining experience- great food, great service, great atmosphere!"

"First visit to this pub as it was equi-distance for meeting friends for lunch. Excellent hot, fresh, home cooked pub food, beautifully cooked and presented.
