"I've been to La Bonne Heure a couple of times and I really enjoyed the ambience and food of this restaurant. It is situated in the Abbeville area of Clapham which in itself is something of a wealthy enclave not known to many outsiders. The food was excellent, however i must say that I found the head waiter a little bit surly. I think this is a Parisian thing, which won't necessarily go down well with Londoners, who expect some degree of politeness from waiting staff. Other than that the other staff have been excellent and the food great! A nice addition to the renowned foodie area that Abbeville is becoming."

"dreadful service no organization. the first time I ever left a restaurant. in theory this restaurant has crossed all boxes, but in reality it is a catastrophe to be honest. we wait for minutes before we get a menu. finally in our order and minutes later no eating. we asked employees without joy after another organization no communication between the staff. at the end we left without food. music was very good tho! I really hope that they will find out how they organize the whole process and maybe employ more waiting workers. I'm really sorry"

"After seeing many photos of the viral hot chocolate at this restaurant, we decided to book a table to end our day in the city. Unfortunately, upon arrival, we were completely ignored by the two men at the front desk who were speaking to each other in another language and did not acknowledge us. After waiting for them to finish, one of them finally greeted us but then abruptly asked if we were willing to pay a minimum of £50 each, which was not mentioned on their website or in any of our booking confirmations. Unable to prove this, we left as we were not prepared to pay such a high price for a hot chocolate. We were disappointed by the poor treatment and lack of communication. As someone who has frequented Jumeirah hotels in the UAE, this experience was the worst in terms of service. The minimum spend policy was not transparent, and we were left feeling misled. It is important for customers to be informed of additional charges before making reservations."
