"A quiet peaceful restaurant with good tasty food. Decor needs some attention though would benefit from better lighting ambience and fresher look."

"This restaurant is amazing! I devoured my burger before I could even snap a picture of it. I highly recommend it to anyone searching for a delicious burger."

"Shocking experience- table booked for 8.15pm. Then told to wait 20m, after 20m told to wait another 20m and then not seated until 9.15pm. Very rude waiter who was extremely blasé. My guest was left embarrassed and I was so disappointed after having been a week ago and raved about both the food and service. Amazing food but the worst experience I have had at a restaurant- as someone that eats out a lot at some of London’s top spots, I’m undecided as to whether I’ll go back."

"I seem to be going to a lot of restaurants with character and ambience lately. This time we did go to have a good time with our friends who were moving back to Spain. A restaurant decorated with clocks of different shapes and sizes could either remind you of the good time you spent there, or how slow time moves in bad company! However the food ensured that our time was well spent. My lobster was delicately spiced and millefeuille of crab, avocado and tomato fresh and appetizing. A good way to order at La Bonne Heure if you are with friends and you like sharing desserts and starters is to order Les Formules Starter+ Mains and Mains +Dessert each. So we all tasted duck, beef, grouse and...read more"

"We booked for dinner for our first time to Winchester and so very glad we did. The building was gorgeous and we were very happy, tucked away in a small room (4 tables only) to the left of the front door. The discovery of a lovely bar and lounge upstairs when visiting the loo was a nice surprise addition too. The staff were attentive, chatty and bright. They had a small, new menu and we were delighted with the results I'd much rather have a small menu done incredibly well than a sprawling one which might not deliver. The food was sublime I'd happily eat it all again! You're looking at prices more familiar in London, but for a treat night out it was totally worth it!"

"The service at this restaurant was terrible with no organization. It was the first time I have ever left a restaurant. While this restaurant seemed like it had everything in place, in reality it was a disaster. We waited 20 minutes just to receive a menu, then placed our order only to wait another 45 minutes with still no food. Despite asking three different staff members, we still had no luck after an additional 30 minutes. There was no organization or communication among the staff. In the end, we left without even getting any food. On the bright side, the music was really good. I hope they improve their organization and consider hiring more staff. It's a real shame, and I'm sorry to say this."

"After seeing cinderella in the cinema last week, I was still much in fairytale princess mode, so I was quite excited when I saw that the chinoiserie in jumeirah carlton tower made a Cinderella theme afternoon tea, especially created by executive head pastry stephan chef will. there was a soothing music that was played by the lively harp, I love places that have live classical music. our afternoon was served as shown on their website, it looked so beautiful that we broke the first minutes with our cameras. the top animal had the hearty sandwiches I liked, the Scottish bark, water circles and creamy meerrettich sandwich, but was not quite a fan of the Quail egg tea that was a little dry. the second animal had a quite series of sweet desserts shaped into various miniature objects in conjunction with cinderella marshmallow car, yuzu tart uhren, white chocolate shoes, and white chocolate brownie and popping sweets magic sticks. and the last animal was a few buttery clear and fruit-sweet, served with jam and dipped cream on the side. the afternoon was beautifully presented, although the sweet perhaps was a bit too much for me to end. Unfortunately, I am not so big a fan of white chocolate, but if they are then they would probably enjoy it. service was very pleasant and efficient overall, and we had a nice relaxing afternoon. click on my blog link for complete submission with photos x"

"The 'Unlimited' tea and coffee only appeared after my husband had to track down a staff member to request it. Despite promises that staff would oversee the day, they were nowhere to be found except for a few young girls serving pre-arranged drinks. When we raised our concerns with the manager, he was apologetic and agreed with our complaints. However, when the owner contacted us, they were condescending and implied that we had not spent enough money to receive the promised service. The owner refused to meet with us in person, stating that it would be a waste of their time on their day off. No compensation was offered, leaving us feeling undervalued despite the substantial amount we had paid. Overall, we do not recommend the hospitality, service, or offerings of this restaurant. They failed to deliver on their promises and did not provide the level of service expected based on their advertised standards."
