"I thoroughly enjoyed the milkbutter buffalo burger! The fried chicken was incredibly crispy and tasted wonderful with the addition of cheese. The bun was fantastic as well. The sweet potato fries were cooked perfectly to my liking. My only suggestion would be for the onion rings to be a bit crispier, but overall, it was a solid meal. I will definitely be returning, no questions asked!"

"We have 3 coeliacs in our family and If we come here we are all able to eat. Best restaurant for gluten free in Kent! Battered fish , sausage, halloumi, gluten free chips and curry sauce. Better than a 5 star fancy restaurant. Food is fresh and delicious every time. Jack, the manager is very helpful and can't do enough to keep us safe with our meal. My daughter is 9 and coeliac, to be able to order food from a normal menu and be safe is a real delight. Thanks Jack and Reliance for making a little girl happy."

"I had high hopes for this place! Alas, my order of wings and chips that arrived were a disappointment. I ordered the buffalo wings and chips, simple order the buffalo wings tasted like vinegar wings and nothing of any sort of spice or substance to what were otherwise very generously sized wings. Buffalo sauce it was not. The fries were basically not cooked and mostly cold, which of course could be due to the distance it took for them to travel to my home, but still couldn’t eat more than 2 and I’ve had some dodgy fries in my day let me tell you!"

"Visited Palmers for a Friday evening meal with family. On the whole the food was fine but nothing to write home about. One of us had the lamb which was a little fatty/tough and the vegetarian option (usually a risotto) is a little boring and...could do with rotating more with the rest of the menu. The steaks were good however and the chocolate pudding was very tasty. The atmosphere was a little glum and we were sat directly next to the kitchen which has no proper door over it eating in a darkened restaurant but having bright white light and noise flooding at you from the kitchen ruins the atmosphere. Service was fine but not sure the service charge justified this. On the whole, the meal was fine but not a place I'll be rushing back to when there's so much other choice."

"This place has gone downhill. The prices are very high and the standard of the food has dropped since Pete left. I just had a chicken and mushroom pie, it was cold and had a soggy bottom. Chips were double cooked and very greasy. I will certainly go elsewhere if I want pie and chips again. Girl behind the counter kept pushing her hair behind her ears and then serving someone(fortunately not me). Staff members had not tied their hair back. Although the service was ok, the quality of food was not."

"I came with my family to my dad's birthday. we were in the run of the years often in the Thai house and always loved it. but that was honestly the worst service I have ever experienced, and the food quality has declined significantly since my last visit. we arrived at 8 a.m. when we booked the table. "There are numerous piers along the coast, and Eastbourne Pier is one of the best. The blue and gold colors of the pier really stand out. There are several arcades and restaurants on the pier, offering magnificent views from the end. It looks particularly stunning at night."
