Delicious pan-fried dumplings filled with savory pork and vegetables, served with a tangy dipping sauce.

"The venue not only failed to acknowledge our table reservation, but they were also safe and accommodating in resolving the issue. However, the kitchen was nearly closed, which was evident during our visit. The noise from the busy main road was unpleasant, and the outdoor area was dirty. Despite these setbacks, the quality of our meal was a pleasant surprise."

"BUYER BEWARE !My wife and I visited here 5 times in last 12 years or so. This was a disappointing experience. I mentioned about chopsticks, and the waiting Japanese woman got cross and asserted they were the only ones i would get. they were throwaway cheap chopsticks, okay there were not plastic chinese style but even so this is a very expensive restaurant and the rice was tasteless all she said was oh the sushi rice is in the 'hidden menu ' LOL, a bit childish) , food all arrived at once, CHAOS. We know it has struggled with differing management, and so it shows. Dear diner, you ought to be aware of all of this. Izakaya in Japan is meant to be more fun, lower prices this is really pricey place. I know the location etc., but still. The other two waiters worked hard. NIhonshu was 8/10 a nice tasting sake for sort of okay price. It wasnt all dreadful: at least they looked after my wifes ' complicated allergies, that was correct. Fine. BUT, Fellow diners , avoid this place and do your research, It is too expensive for what it is. We will try Korean next time. And we will never return here. Maybe Saturday is not the best day here. May be. But dont make that your problem, paying diner) haha !"

"I was extremely disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. My group was one of only two tables there during lunchtime. I ordered the Ramen with an additional £2 charge for tonkatsu and £1 charge for a soft boiled egg. Unfortunately, it took over 40 minutes for the dish to come out, and when it did, the noodles were soaked in broth, the egg was overcooked, and the tonkatsu was dry. I took a picture of the ramen as the waiter was collecting it and informed him of my dissatisfaction, but did not request anything else. As someone who used to work in restaurants, I understand that everybody has off days. However, what really disappointed me was that the management never came to our table to apologize, even though we were one of only two tables in the restaurant. This lack of attention to customer service is why I can only give this restaurant a 1-star rating. If you're looking for sushi in Paisley, I would recommend going to Okome instead."

"I wanted to catch a live football match, and this place did not disappoint. There were plenty of screens, and although we didn't have a reserved table, we found a spot with a gaming console to enjoy as well. The menu was fantastic, and the food was delicious. The availability of teasing oil on tap was a nice bonus. The staff were incredibly friendly and provided excellent service. This is definitely the place to go for live sports if you're in the area."

"This place had been on our list for a while. Maybe this place is better at lunch but tonight the restaurant floor was dirty (not great when we had to get down to your socks); no heating and a few spiders crawling around. The toilets were mostly out of order, had no lights, a small candle in the cubicle (and cables hanging out the roof and bulbs in the corner) and had to use to phone torch to wash hands. The waitress was lovely and more than helpful. But this didn’t make up for the food we sent back stringy, dry and tough pork. We won’t go back but maybe this is great for a lunch spot or for a takeaway."

"The atmosphere is very buzzy and lively, although this made it a tad too noisy at times to have a conversation. The staff were very friendly, service was quick, and if seated in the right place as we were, you can see all the goings on in the kitchen: We shared starters and mains (one each) and chose paneer chilli (indian cottage cheese [their description not mine] with onions, peppers and chilli sauce), spicy papaya salad (papaya, tomatoes, carrots, green beans and peanuts in a thai dressing) and beef salad (pan seared beef with carrots, onions, cucumber, mint and peppers). They were all quite spicy, as the name suggests. The paneer chilli was my favourite as it was the most...read more"

"I finally visited this little noodle bar that had been on my list for a while now . Nestled in the bustling streets of the city, this hidden gem proved to be a delightful surprise. The menu featured a delectable array of Asian delights, and I couldn't resist ordering a trio of dishes that I'd been longing to savor. The first bite of the Nasi Goreng took my taste buds on a whirlwind journey of flavours ! It was a burst of Indonesian authenticity on my palate. Next up, the Singapore style vermicelli noodles and oh, what a treat they were! Delicately stir fried, they boasted a harmonious blend of sweet and savory flavors, interspersed with succulent shrimp and fresh vegetables. The portion size was generous, ensuring that I savored every bite until the very last noodle. To complete my feast, I ordered the salt pepper chicken wings, and they turned out to be a revelation. The wings were crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and seasoned to perfection. Each bite offered an addictive blend of saltiness and a hint of spice, making them an absolute must try for any chicken wing enthusiast. The service was impeccable. The staff members were attentive, knowledgeable, and passionate about the dishes they served, which added an extra layer of authenticity to the experience. One of the staff member suggested we try the Singapore style vermicelli and it was a banger ! In summary, this charming noodle bar exceeded my expectations in every way. It's the perfect spot for those seeking an intimate dining experience and an explosion of Asian flavors. If you're a fan of Nasi Goreng, Singapore style vermicelli noodles, and salt pepper chicken wings, you simply can't afford to miss this hidden gem. I left the restaurant with a heart full of satisfaction and a belly full of unforgettable flavors. I can't wait to return and explore more of their tantalizing menu. Don't hesitate to visit; it's an experience worth savoring! You get a 10% student discount if you pay in cash ! :"

"I made a reservation for a table for seven people online. When we arrived at the appointed time, we were seated immediately. The server took our drink orders promptly. We started with some delicious sides and Prawn Crackers with a sweet chili dip as appetizers. The mains were served one after the other, each dish freshly cooked and exceptional. I have dined here multiple times and will continue to come back."

"The food was served promptly, and the service was excellent. The bento box with side dishes allowed for a variety of flavors to be sampled. There were plenty of vegan options available, including vegan mochi for dessert. Although I didn't try the dessert or any of their drinks this time, I plan to do so next time. The music, which I believe was J-Pop, added to the overall enjoyable dining experience."

"Probably one of the most disappointing Japanese meals I have ever had. Since I lived in Japan for 20 years, I know what good Japanese food is supposed to be like. The tori karaage almost had no chicken in it and was mostly skin, which I have never seen before. Is this a money-saving measure? Shockingly price at almost eight pounds. Their Japanese sausages while authentic were way too small and overpriced. If you still want to go to Tosa, I would suggest getting the nasu dengaku, which was quite good, and perhaps some yakitori (although this too is overpriced . But the most disappointing part of my Tosa experience started before I even went there. When I called to book a table, I was greeted in a rude manner by the Japanese lady who took my call. Moreover, this same woman was rude when I was in the restaurant. (If you must go to Tosa, talk to the other staff, who are much friendlier. One of the best things about going to a Japanese restaurant outside of Japan is to experience the great service that you would normally receive at many restaurants at Japan, so in this respect Tosa fell far short of my expectations. If you are in west London and have a hankering for Japanese food, go to Kiraku, where the service is far better, even though the menu may currently be less extensive."

"Mildreds is a staple of the London Vegan Scene. I can't believe I’m only writing a review of it now We went to the branch in Soho before watching Les Mis and decided to just share a few of the small plates instead of having a big plate and some starters, as we would normally do. You get to try a lot more things this way, and their small plates are delicious! Honestly, there wasn't anything we ate that I wouldn't order again, but there were definitely a couple of standouts that I hope they never take off the menu. Topping the list is their Sweet Potato Leek Tortelloni, which comes with a lovely leek cream that is somehow both rich and smooth. Also amazing is their Whipped F'ta topped with roasted cherry tomatoes and oregano which is just perfect to dip their grilled pita on. There's still so much on their menu that I haven't tried. I absolutely must go again soon! Overall: 9.5/10 Fully Vegan What we ate: "
