"We were eager to enjoy a meal we ordered from this restaurant, but unfortunately, the person who took our order made a mistake. When we arrived home, we found out that they had only prepared three items instead of meals for a man and two children. When we tried to contact them to resolve the issue, we were told that they were closed for the night and could not assist us. This lack of customer service and apparent lack of interest in serving their customers was disappointing."

"Having been here many times over the years, I am disappointed to be writing this review. We booked midday lunch as a group of 4, arriving early to await opening, as we were going to theatre matinee show. The manager? opened the door then let it go nearly in my face.. no welcoming hello or greeting. We then waited ages for drinks and then had to ask for food order to be taken. Meanwhile everyone who arrived after us had been attended to. Then a 45 minute wait for meals (again we had to ask) which left us with no time for pudding, coffee etc. My beef bourguignon was very fatty and unpleasant.. the other 3 meals looked much nicer. Sadly I won’t be returning."

"Ordered pizza fish and chips and a couple of supers, delivered quickly a thought great, th3 pizza must have been knocked over the toppings were stuck to the side of the box, chips were stuck together like mush the fish tasted like a frozen one, a will never order from here again. "Ordered Pepes through just eat. 1 chicken burger 2 chicken pittas 1 chicken strips all meals and extra wings. £45. Received delivery. ALL THE CHICKEN WAS PINK CAUSE UNDER COOKED. See pics. Called pepes was told no it’s fine our food is cooked. Took food back to pepes to show them Staff agree yes raw. Refund please? No you need to go through just eat ok called just eat, offered a £20 refund . No a full refund please. Just eat said no you have to open a complaint to get full refund. Ok complaint now open. So now no food no £45."

"one of the best chip shops in the opposite. her portion size for chips is very generous. the chips here are the best I had, they taste brilliant. there are also so many meal times and I love the mixed meat and chips themselves. I was several times and it is consistently fantastic eating. it's worth a try."

"The food was awful. I ordered the "prime pitta" and the bread was stale, at least 5 days old. It was so dry that they couldn't even fill it properly, so they just placed the chicken on top of it and wrapped it in paper. The fries were greasy and not cooked properly. The service was terrible, the server seemed like he was barely hanging on and the restaurant was in a terrible state. Overall, it was a poor experience, especially for a Pepe's restaurant. I don't know why I subjected myself to this."

"In my visits to Drumchapel I've always enjoyed the fare on offer at Pauls. When calling for collection I've always been struck by the spotless shop and serving areas. Deliveries are always prompt, service is always cheery and friendly. No stranger to a chippy supper over the years, Pauls is right up there with the best I've had. Portions are hearty and the batter is a delightful crispy experience, especially on the fish. Great variety, always tasty and the sausage supper would fill you for a fortnight. Great for a wee home delivery treat."

"Winner winner Chicken Dinner! Feels great heading to city centre, when normal life slowly resumes back, you can’t miss Pepe’s under new management, it is surprisingly better than ever in hear of city centre. Very helpful staffs and order was quick too. The chicken is rather succulent, I would recommend anyone that knows about their chicken To pay a visit to this establishment. The chicken is fabulous I personally would recommend the wings and half chicken with hot sauce. Kids enjoyed their meals, to Overall the food is amazing we had a great dinner off late. "Foods ok at best. The staff are lazy and slow, they never open at the right time. Only get 30 mins for lunch so twice now I’m knocking on the door at 10 mins after “opening” asking how much longer, they look at me, shrug and walk off. "Went there after a day at the pier ordered the food and started to wait as all the other people were doing it was busy the sitting area was dirty bins over flowing and rubbish every where as it looked they were running the place with less staff found a table to sit after 15 minutes with people leaving 70% of food un eaten.Requested the lady on the till three times before some one came and took the rubbish off our table and pile it on top of the bin. waited there 30 minutes my order number was 88 and people to number 94 were given food before me the griller made my chicken and gave to the other guy who put it under the light and 5 minutes after that started frying the patty for the burger after about 10 minutes I received my order and I told the lady that it is sitting there for 15 minutes and its cold she apologised and said she will refund it as they are short on labour and have no more chicken left or chilli sauce at around 9:40 pm even though the closing time was 11:00pm. I went to the card till and there came the owner YOUSIF asked me again what happened and checked the chicken and instead of apologising for ruining my kids dinner leaving them waiting for 45 minutes and still no food he told me I will refund but the chicken is fine for him and if I like to eat hot food I should go to ROOSTERS PERI PERI as this is his shop and he will run it as he wishes. yousif was wearing vest and shorts with all his body hair on display he should not even be allowed in the kitchen but he was fully involved in the kitchen with no regard for hygiene or health and safety. This place is an hygiene and health and safety hazard and should be avoided at all costs. Never going back."

"I love the experience. High-end gourmet food and loved the fact that it was all vegan! the presentation was spectacular. I still dream of the truffle pasta and the wee was very good. service was quiet but good. To be honest, I would have loved to be a smaller meal, as I would not have done justice to the last courses. it was just too much to eat. in everything they had 10-11 courses! my only annoyance was the waitress that gave me the menu when I asked for the wine card. Come on, it's the 21st century and I paid for the meal!"

"edit I change my 2 stars to 4 after using pepes a few times, it was recently fab and so much better than the first visit, the big one is: the salat was delicious, chips piping hot, great service the first time you try to eat here. I ordered the bbq sizzler as it said it had jalapenos that I love. sad not a jalapeno, that was really dissapointing. the food was also warm. pepsi only tasted carbonated water, so was thrown away. chips were delicious and hot, the only reason in rating 2 stars."
