Chips were absolutely awful, both my friend and myself ate about 4 or 5 chips and binned the rest. Avoid as it's not onestis anymore.

Still a good chippy. Lots of others around have really dropped their quality, so this is the only place we currently use. Nice fish, great chips, quick and friendly service.

We used to frequent The Rex, but we were disappointed with their opening hours and staff attitude. We arrived at 8:30pm, two hours before closing time, only to find that they had run out of food. Overall, it was a disappointing experience.
