"Ordered a takeaway on a Sunday night, was told it wouldn't take long as they were not busy.Called nearly an hour later and was told it was on the way. mins after that it turns up, piping hot, so it's just been made.I'm not pleased as it's getting late now, take it into the kitchen and open the curry containers, one is fine, the other has tiny little pieces of chicken in it, it's basically a bowl of sauce. I'm now very unhappy.I call to complain and am told the manager is not available but am assured by the person answering the phone all curries have pieces of chicken in them and he counted them himself. isn't and they're not even what I'd consider to be a bite-sized piece, they're the size of a KFC chicken popcorn.In short, I waited an unnaceptable amount of time, got a bowl of sauce and a curry and they don't care. I'll stick to Mushtaqs or Spice from now on"

Every sunday is curry night in my house which times out of ten is via the pir!! buy any starter and any curry and get one curry free!!The currys are of cracking quality! without a doubt best takeaway curry in hamilton never been in for a sitty doony though

this place is a precious stone, eating is perfect and tasty, the salmon is a must, beautiful atmosphere and staff very pleasant and helpful, I can not remember the last time that a chef leave the kitchen to ask if I enjoyed my meal. my first time eating last night and it will certainly not be my last, highly recommended

The Pir Mahal is a cracking restaurant, Recently renovated but the food has remained the same.... great curries, good friendly service and a nice atmosphere. Lunchtime sit-ins are a must! We try to go at least once a week.A very very good curry house. Centrally located across from the train/bus station. Well worth a visit if you like your curries the way they should be. First class
