"This was our first visit to this restaurant which is about 5 minutes walk from Chatham Station. There is a varied menu and plenty of vegetarian, fish and meat options. We had difficulty in making our choices, but the waitress made recommendations. The food was delicious and the portions were generous and it was excellent value. "We had not visited the Sitar for quite some time, that due only to our eating agenda not coinciding with their opening hours. Our visit last week gave us absolutely no room for complaint. The food was very good and the service complimented it. The presence of three members of staff who we knew from the days we used the Sitar on a regular basis, made the visit even more enjoyable. More so because they had not forgotten us. Would we recommend the Sitar to other diners? Undoubtedly Yes."

"Worst curry I have ever had!!!! The veggie Madras was a watery potato stew with a chilli thrown in for good luck and my partner’s chicken masala had no flavour with a lot of water! Even the saag aloo had no taste and way too much spinach; should have used some of the potatoes from the Madras to even it out! Don’t bother wasting your time or money wasn’t cheap and nowhere near value for money! What we didn’t eat (and there was a lot) has been thrown in the bin!!"

"Just had delivery through deliveroo. Just over £50 spent on a range of starters, sides and a main. Very quick delivery …. That’s about the only good thing to mention. Chicken Tikka main stuffed into the bag on its side resulting in half of the main being spilt over everything, this meant our vegetarian options being contaminated in the Tikka sauce. Poppadoms soggy and broken, again squashed into the bag. Mango chutney nice. Garlic mushrooms were still hot however everything else luke warm to say the least. Incredibly disappointing. Will not be using again."

"Such a good take away, I asked about a free Naga pickle (not something they normally do), he rang back and mentioned that it isn't a part of the menu due to cost of product etc. He was very pleasant about this, really appreciated the time he took to ring and explain rather than just ignoring the request, great food and great customer service. Received my take away and they've only **** given me some of that sweet sweet firey pickle and the lamb Naga was to die for, just the right balance of spice and flavour combined with genuine lamb rather than the cuts of mutton that are so often prevelant in curry houses. Really impressed with the okra dish too. Shahe is an absolute bae of a takeaway, 10 out of 10 would go again any time"

"Another wonderful Friday night with Sunny, Ryan, Ray Ikbal. Situated in the heart of Solihull town centre and just across the road from Solihull church. This wonderful restaurant is situated in a former mansion (grade 2 listed) and has some low beams that add to the character. The staff are only too willing to help you with your choice of food. Don’t be shy, if you don’t like your curry too hot! The staff with only be too happy to point you to the right dish. Being a vegetarian can sometimes be a challenge for me when visiting restaurants. But not at Panchuli’s. If you like your curry hot then try Pumpkin Spinach Madras or if you like it mild then Paneer Tikka Masala and there’s number of other curry’s in between to suit the most discerning customer."

"I am always hopful when trying a new place but this was a let down. The waiter didn't seem to know what was on the menu, or what is job was, and it was a major mission just to place our order. The noisy turbine extractor fan in the dining room sparked to life when smoke from the kitchen filled the room, doors were opened to help manage the smoke, it was not nice. The food was okay, the value was okay with the toptable deal, but without the deal forget it. The washroom experience was unplesant to say the least. Air freshener lined the wall. Chicken was defrosting unattended in a downstairs kitchen sink. Sorry but never again"

"We were in UK last summer and were visiting Edinburgh. I made a mistake and did not do any research of the area for any Indian Restaurants in case of any exigency. The exigency arrived in a way that, my four year would not want to eat anything but Indian food. Seeing him so edgy and cranky we just dashed into the nearest available place and believe me it was a nightmare. The food was bad and service was worst. "This cafe is fantastic in every aspect. I visit regularly and have a few criteria that I use to judge cafes: the quality of sausages, the quality of coffee, and whether they can make eggs with runny yolks. The sausages here are of excellent quality for a cafe, the coffee is better than most coffee shops and they offer flavored options for those with a sweet tooth. The yolks are consistently runny when requested. The staff are friendly, and the cafe has a clean and fresh atmosphere. The toilets are also very clean."

"We visited Palki for the first time last week. Great place, genuinely friendly staff and excellent food. Also very good value for money, which certainly helps. We chose a selection of dishes that all had their own distinct flavours, unlike some places where it can be difficult to tell the difference between one dish and another. I even found myself liking okra which normally doesn't do anything for me. When you visit and make sure that's a when not an if make sure to order some chef's specials and ask for the house recommendations, and be ready to settle in for a good evening with hospitable people and excellent food. You can even take your own wine if you wish. Recommended for anything from a romantic date night to a large family get together and pretty much anything in between. Those looking for a larger booking could do well to rent the downstairs space which looks like it could comfortably host about 50 sitting down."

"I order 2 pack of meal deals 1hun tikka masala, pilau reis and an extra simple naan I said it would be 1 hour and 30 minutes this was good, we waited for 2 hours and when it arrived the food. was cold and we had no soaking with our packings and there was a missing naan broth for the kids also no cries After we had read so many great reviews, we were looking forward to trying it, but tbh was it a let down that was bland and tasteless possibly the worst Indian food I have ever experienced and the service was just as bad. I just wish I had little indie with my ordinary Indian takeaway, which never fails. it cost me £35 for 2 packs 1 huhn tikka masala 2 bags of chips 1 pilau reis and popadoms. when I went to the menu and added the price of the food without the packs it on £16.40 meant that I paid almost £10 for the packs alone. I'm sorry, but that ruined mine at night, and I'm never gonna give it back to me."
