"Such a good take away, I asked about a free Naga pickle (not something they normally do), he rang back and mentioned that it isn't a part of the menu due to cost of product etc. He was very pleasant about this, really appreciated the time he took to ring and explain rather than just ignoring the request, great food and great customer service. Received my take away and they've only **** given me some of that sweet sweet firey pickle and the lamb Naga was to die for, just the right balance of spice and flavour combined with genuine lamb rather than the cuts of mutton that are so often prevelant in curry houses. Really impressed with the okra dish too. Shahe is an absolute bae of a takeaway, 10 out of 10 would go again any time"

Really delicious food, the best starter (chefs special king prawn) that I have ever had from an Indian restaurant/take out. Highly recommended.

the personal was friendly, very quiet, as in just me and my partner on a Friday night. but was clean and tidy. the eating was pleasant drank on the small side so ideal for me, but could have been better for my partner. the prices were fair. will definitely go back when on the northeast. the takeaway page that I felt is worth more for money, but the quality is exactly the same.

the restaurant is not attractive from the outside, but I have eaten and look and enjoyed the feeling. positiw: tasty eating good sorting I recommend the duck special, it is very nice and well balanced there is a spacious parking next to it free personal is very friendly and well maintained it accepts taste card except sat and Sunday cons: food can take some time to prepare (15 to 30 minutes) total: a nice friendly place for small gatherings of delicious meals, more Indian dishes.

"My experience at this restaurant on a Monday lunchtime was for a special occasion. The vegan menu was unusual and interesting. We started with the beetroot starter, which was delicious and very light. The fermented barley starter had a peculiar taste, but it was a more substantial and warm option. For my main, I had the stuffed leek, which was artistic, tasty, and very light. The pudding was not as described but was still very tasty - sorbet on crunchy crumbs. We also shared a side order of vegetables, as sides were recommended for more of a tasting menu experience. However, the side orders were not listed on the menu, so we were unsure of the extra cost. The menu could benefit from being more clear about this and possibly offering bread at the start or including vegetables and potatoes with the main course. We found ourselves feeling hungry throughout the meal, and the expensive glass of wine made us hesitant to order multiple side dishes. While we appreciate the craftsmanship and effort put into the menu and dishes, we suggest ordering a few side dishes and not considering less than three courses if you dine here. Although we had to go elsewhere for coffee and a vegan sweet to feel satisfied, we did appreciate that the dishes were plant-based rather than just vegan. Overall, we would revisit this restaurant to support their venture, but we advise being prepared with side dishes and not arriving too hungry."
