A group of six of us had dinner there on Saturday night after seeing Abba Voyage and when the staff heard where we had been they put Abba music on! It was my birthday and although no one in our party had told the staff they overheard us talking and made my dessert extra special with a huge sparkler. We had a great night and will definitely go back."

"good cheap food. maisha atmosphere and eating was generally good. I, my wife and the 20-year-old daighter showed up tonight. we had the early evening menu (they had to ask for it! at £9.95/HEAD with 3 beer and an orange juice. Eat was good if not excellent and portioning were generous, we were so full that we needed no pudding. the regular meal prices are somewhat expensive, but also the other Indian restaurants in st andrews are a bit expensive."

"Such a good take away, I asked about a free Naga pickle (not something they normally do), he rang back and mentioned that it isn't a part of the menu due to cost of product etc. He was very pleasant about this, really appreciated the time he took to ring and explain rather than just ignoring the request, great food and great customer service. Received my take away and they've only **** given me some of that sweet sweet firey pickle and the lamb Naga was to die for, just the right balance of spice and flavour combined with genuine lamb rather than the cuts of mutton that are so often prevelant in curry houses. Really impressed with the okra dish too. Shahe is an absolute bae of a takeaway, 10 out of 10 would go again any time"

"We were pleasantly surprised to find this gem among the limited dining options in Chelsea Harbour. The maitre'd was a bit gruff upon our arrival, and there was a typically loud musical performer in the beautifully decorated Lebanese restaurant. We chose to sit in the Parisian-style outdoor seating area, which was heated and also offered Shisha. Our waiter was patient and helpful as we navigated the extensive menu, even recommending alternative wines when we expressed concern about the Lebanese selection. The food was very good, reasonably priced, and we will definitely return in the future."

"absolutely nothing wrong with eating delicious. but we went to the mother's lunch. was almost the first at the place. first the service was ok, then the starters were left almost an hour after completion on the table. the children's main courses came 20mins or so into the waiting period. not only had to clear the plates, but also find out where our nets had to be. my wife was so excited that she had canceled her, so there was a certain unavoidability that she showed up. to be fair, the shnormous mgr removed the meal of my wife from the bill, which was estimated and she took the meal free to house instead of throwing it. it's a shame because eating was really delicious, it's just the service element that needs to be seriously repaired, and it shouldn't be that hard. the fingers crossed."

"Very disappointed. The manager had his mouth open of food whilst welcoming us. The server spilled sauce on my trousers then bought over KETTLE boiling Water for me to clean it. Then plain rice came 10 mins after the meat. The cashier came with the card machine mid eating and just stood there waiting for us to pay. No shisha available due to server saying it’ll be extra effort for him. Who does that? Not to mention it was my birthday! To top it all off! Highly not recommend to anybody, embarrassed I even spent my birthday here."

"I took my daughter out for a meal to this restaurant 1st impression were not that good there was 1 member of staff sitting in the middle of the floor on her computer doing all sorts laughing and fulling around quite of putting next the waiter came up to us and ask us did we want any poperdoms we asked were the free he said no and I said they were not on the menu as a charge so instead we decided to order a starter instead when it had arrived 20 minutes later bear in mind there were only 3 tables In the restaurant anyway as I tried to cut in to my onion bargie it was hard it looked like it had been heated in a microwave!! Next we had received our main course it was so sweet and full of suger to me looked like again microwave it was mush the chicken was burnt and hard disgusting I ate half of it my daughter s chicken corma well if you could call it that was the same and the colour of it was white never seen one like this before any we ask for the bill and left disappointed? That eaveing we both started having sour stomachs, we both just put it down to eating late, but the next morning we both had constant diarrhoea witch offervesley was what we had eating there that eaveing will not be going there again and certainly not be recommending this restaurant"

"that was great. service was a bit poor, one of the older waiters, or perhaps the manager, didn't seem very polite and allowed us to order starters and main dishes separately. he probably knew that after ordering a lot of appetizers would be full and would not later order main dishes, so he asked us to order together with appetizers because “the kitchen was busy” and could not order. when they go to a restaurant, they should be free to order what they prefer, at any time especially during the lunchtime, the kitchen was not close or something."

"I went for dinner with friends and had a great experience at this restaurant. The Kurma was delicious and the staff were extremely friendly and kind, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The naan bread was also delicious and massive - it was even bigger than my head! I almost ordered two, but I'm glad I didn't because I was already stuffed by the time we left. Although the prices may seem a bit high at first glance, the portion sizes are so generous that you will definitely leave feeling satisfied. It's definitely worth it."

"I have visited Red Chilli several times and the food never fails, always tasty albeit pricey now. However this recent visit i found the service not that great. While in the middle of our starter (poppadoms) we were told our main was ready, we asked them to hold fire as we wasnt ready, after that the waiter kept hanging around. We had one beer in here because no one ever came to ask if we wanted another. They have done the place up and it looks good but the staff need to be a little more a-tentative. As i said, great food and definately worth a visit."

The restaurant has been there for a few decades and it will be interesting to find what came first the settlement surrounding it or the restaurant itself. Did it behave like a protagonist to the Lebanese loving foodies? or was it rightly located and grew out if them to begin with? Whatever the reason the result is A+.
