"This is the best Indian food we have had anywhere outside my mother inn laws kitchen. Authentic flavors, meat is tender, the mixed grill was to die for. Fish curry incredible and the biryani totally floated my boat, Service was prompt, and friendly, yes seating is a little tight and portions a little on the small side, but for this area it is still amazing value, you will not find a better Indian. I am eating the leftovers cold for breakfast : What a treat !"

"Found this restaurant by chance. My friend and I were looking for somewhere to have a pre concert dinner before going to the NEC. We were met by Shahir who quite simply epitomises what customer care and attention excellence should be. Nothing was too much trouble. This review is short and concise for a reason. The venue was clean, contemporary warm and welcoming. The order was made. 10 minutes later the food arrived. It was well presented and hot (as in temperature I mention this because I really do not like my food luke warm or cold, as do most people I should think). I have been to many restaurants home and abroad, most of which have been good to excellent. The food at The Delhi can only be described as a tingling treat for the tongue. 10/10 for the chefs. I am a carnivore and my partner is vegan, and they catered for both effortlessly. I will finish by thanking you and wish you the best. Keep to this standard and you will remain successful."

"The delivery was over 1 hour late from a 40minute quote time. I will not be ordering from this restaurant again due to the lack of communication, concern for the customers and the unnecessary waiting time. When we called to query where the food was and asked for an estimated time for delivery the male on the phone was extremely confrontational and rude. I would not recommend this restaurant."

It's well-located, at the foot of Covent Garden, close to the theatres in the Strand and Charing Cross station. "The service is based on drinks as this was a buffetbooked this restaurant for a curry as it was the only one left on valentines night. Turned up and it was a buffet which was a shock as my girlfriend is gluten free. "Me and my family went here to celebrate my sisters birthday. There was a party of 8 and 2 of them were children. We started our order of 8 popadoms and drinks. Then we ordered the mains, 6 main dishes with 4 sides, 4 nans and 4 rice. We decided to share as the little ones wouldn't eat a lot. To my surprise my husband informs me that the waiter is talking about us to his colleagues in his language. What he didn't know is that my husband is from the same country and could understand everything they were saying. He said how the stingy girl (my sister )who never ordered a main was taking everyone's food, complaining that she never ordered any food. Firstly as customers we have the right to order what we want. There is no rule of the amount we need to order. We then asked for some water. We first ask for a bottle of water but then realised a few people wanted water so we asked for a jug of water. The waiter then starts saying in his language look at these stingy people asking for bottled water then for tap water. After buying drinks we needed some water to wash it down. There was no point buying bottled water for everyone. We then asked for a container to take some leftovers home and the waiter said he will do it down stairs. My sister explains that she only wants to pick a few bits and he still didn't want to do this. Then he goes down stairs and starts cursing us. I could not believe the service we received. My husband then confronted them by greeting him in his language and their faces dropped begging for him not to tell my family what he has said. The service was utterly disgraceful and we will not be returning. And to top it all off the food was disgusting. It has no taste and tasted all the same."

"On the day that government extended the tier 4 areas across the country, I collected dinner from Desi only to find that all the 3 employees inside Desi had no protection whatsoever. Not even bad placed mask on the chin as many people use, not a single mask at sight. Every other take away that I have used in the last week had employees with masks as mandatory for every open business. "we have just begun to use the bengal brasserie after our local alam spice in fawley eating down. Fourth visit and eating was great! the best curry we ate in a very, very long time. garlic chili huh, lamb vindaloo, hot, spicy full taste and deep. not full sugar and salt like alam spice. spices also cooked well. lamb pathia is delicious. lamb very delicate and huh was also perfectly cooked, damp and tasty and not like a piece of rubber. I can't praise them enough. A nice cook. the only problem was the wobble that bahjii was crispy out there, but in the midst gay, still give them 5/5 because everything else was spot-on."

"I visited Milan Indian Cuisine with friends on Friday evening (14 July 2023), as we were staying nearby in the City, for the T20 Cricket Finals Day at Edgbaston. It was new to me, but somewhere my friends had visited before and had praise for and now I can see why! I have a nut allergy, and although my options on Indian menu’s are limited, I have to be extremely careful. I made the staff aware of this as we took to our table, and from the start they were hugely accommodating, helping me with what was nut free, they stayed with me until I had made my order. Really was exceptional! I had a starter of Grilled Salmon, which was very nice, and then a main of Lamb Rogan Josh, with Pilau Rice and a garlic naan. A dish I usually go for to be safe, it was one of the best I’ve had! Full of meat and flavour! A huge thanks, particularly to Nico, who’s service was fantastic! We shall be visiting next year for the Cricket finals!"
