"We recently dined at the Rudgleigh Inn Steakhouse for the first time, and we were extremely impressed. The food was delicious and reasonably priced, with a great selection on the menu. The staff was friendly and welcoming. We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in search of high-quality food and drinks in a cozy setting, rather than a typical pub that also offers food. We will definitely be returning."

"Unfortunately the Sunday menu has shrunk yet again only choice of beef or pork now if wanting a roast lunch, Food arrived in a timely manner but lukewarm. Terrible issue with flies not enjoyable having to keep swatting them away from Food and drinks. Service charge added to bill ...why , it should be customers choice to tip, not to be made to feel uncomfortable if you don't Want to. Tipping used to be because it was poorly paid, minimum wage changed that, I did ask if the servers got the tip and they do and the server said they work hard so deserve it, ummm they are being paid to work hard. Seems to have had a big change of staff, unfortunately put of going again."

"The food was really very good. We had a party of 5 and had advised that we were opting for the 5 course, however our food came before the sorbet so we cancelled the 5 course at that point. Errors happen and to be honest our party was already full as the mains and starters were gorgeous. The deserts were also very good, however the creme brûlée was advertised as a pistachio creme brûlée but we couldn’t taste any pistachio in it. All in all really very good."

"We visited the Heathfield Tavern on spec to try it for lunch and what a very good idea it was! We were greeted by cheerful and friendly staff whose waiting skills were first class, chef was available to chat through a hatch into the kitchen and the tables were well spaced. The food was absolutely delicious, the best fish and chips I’ve ever had and my husband gave his sea bass 10/10. On top of that the prices compared very favourably with other lesser establishments in the area. This lovely pub restaurant is going to become a favourite destination."

"One of our two local pubs in Woodchurch. Food, Beer and Wine, they have a Great Selection. The staff are very welcoming and attentive, the atmosphere is really great, a real old fashioned English Pub which has a lot going on throughout the year. "My mum and I visited today, we went by most of the cafes on the off chance one of them did a vegan cream tea. This is where we found one! The cafe itself is beautiful, retro but tasteful and the garden is magical and abundant with flowers. The cream tea was delicious, everything was handmade by the chef and the cream was far more delicious than I remember clotted dairy cream to be. The woman who served us was super chatted and helpful (I’m sorry I didn’t catch her name Thanks for having us! Xx"
