"we were initially somewhat disappointed that only the Sunday lunch menu was available, and not the a la carte (as our first visit was, and we were excited to try the menu), but we all found very acceptable decisions there anyway. the food was well presented, tasty and the portions were so much that we had no place for dessert! excellent value for money at just £16.95 for 2 courses. the bottle wein that we have chosen was also very good, although the waiting workers did not seem au fait with normal practice for serving is a rare event that the patrons wein order from the bottle?! there were almost no other diners when we decided to have a late lunch (2.30) in this presentation I found the music maybe only a tiny shadow too loud, but not worrying (70s/80s pop). overall a very good experience, and we will certainly return to another opportunity to try the standard menu."
