"atmospheric small bistro. I tried the last night. numidie specializes in French North African cuisine. beautiful room with large terracottaflies, dark wood, turquoise walls and old chandeliers. a waitress works very competently the room that had about 10 tables. smuggled bar down with allegedly qualified and ingenious barman. br br from the 12.50 set menu we had smoked fish bourek and escape to begin with wasabi salat. the bourek was generous on the fish, the baked was competent, but the sauce was a little sick and the advertised pickel consisted of two mini-maisichons... the salat was pleasant enough, and much deceived, but no hint at wasabi at all. br br mains were much more successful truffle beef with pommes de terre dauphinoise 2 supplemented and lamb with couscous. both dishes were beautiful and very deftly cooked. the bark was a generous and well trimmed part, cooked on request, the truffles come loud and clear. the lamb really fell from the bone with a nudge of the fork, there was a beautiful harissa-based sauce, and fluffy cousin riveted with cockerbsen and bran. brntewein so it was not brilliant, but gosh, as refreshing, to find a neighboring bistro, which is friendly, welcoming and gives them everything for 12.50! br br oh, and a bottle very warming Moroccan merlot for 19.50 br br br we will be back, possibly to try out the tapas style menu in the cellar dishes."
