"The problem with Vancouver is the halal scene is poor. Accustomed to halal fine dining in London , UK I may be slightly critical of Vancouver. My husband read that this restaurant had newly opened and from the pictures on social media the restaurant looked promising although certainly not fine dining. We both went last weekend with great expectations and we were really let down both with the decor of this place and the food. We ordered the soup, fattoush salad and hummus with meat as starters. For the mains We ordered a chicken dish on flat bread (a palestinain dish called musakhan) and a kofte dish as our mains. The starters and my MAIN dish came together with the server saying they were very busy and could not serve the starters separately. We started on our starters BUT I could not really enjoy as I was afraid my mains would get cold ... and to be honest it was not really warm when it arrived at the table anyway. The starters were good but I had to rush so that I could start on my mains. The Muskhan dish was disappointing luke warm and tasteless. My husband was still waiting for his mains but gave up and finished off the 3 starters. Then his mains came but we had to refuse it because it arrived simply too late. Oh and at the beginning my husband had ordered tea but that never came and the usual jug of water was not placed on our table either. The manager owner did apologise and he did not charge for my husband's mai dish, took 25% off the bill and gave my husband tea. But the point is we trekked from downtown Vancouver to what we hoped would prove to be an enjoyable dinner but it was poor. The decor is poor with a water fountain which is small and takes up needless space. I was disappointed with this restaurant but it was very busy (they do not take bookings) and I think you have to stick to ordering their standard mixed grill and this may be their dish which is good."

Meeting two friends from 55 years ago. one had walking difficulties so restaurant perfect for Shepherds Bush tube. We all loved the food, would highly highly recommend.

Great to discover a new restaurant. Dropped in for lunch and was blown away by the quality and size if the chicken kebab. Best that we have ever eaten in London. It was busy and service a little slow but worth the wait. View menu

Absolutely disgusting very bad staff and they had this I’ll mannered boy from crispy plus which is next door he looked so miserable and unhygienic what a disaster I will never go to this restaurant even if they gave me free food don’t go to this unorganised place

Visited the restaurant after a football match . Was pretty busy but got a table for two. Ordered Halloumi sandwich, Babaganoush and the Humous -the later two were full of flavor and served with some breads Friendly service but he table setting can be quite close to one another Would visit again

The food was not worth the price, it was a lot but many of the dishes were below the original taste. The service was very poor and disorganized, as a person finds the table he sat at and goes to get the food, he finds that the waiter has seated another customer on it. Excellent food. Good service. Very good value. Friendly and fast service. Had a couple of dips for start and then mixed grill. All dishes were full of flavour and high quality ingredients. The lighting is bright and the ambiance is more cafe than restaurant but it’s clean and the reason to be here is the food. No alcohol and no BYO.

If anyone want the latest review of this restaurant then I’m giving you it to you today. We have been going to this restaurant over 10 years but sadly the quality of food , the portion size , the service was the worst I have seen. Their standard have fallen below dramatically. The portion for forouj was the tiniest I have even come across which was also very hard and nerdy charcoaled. The tajine dish contained one tiny piece of lamb and even that was covered in boiled vegs and soup in it was so watery. The whole experience was awful.
