"I went here for a wedding reception and had a really lovely time. The food was tasty and it kept on coming, never been a restaurant where they brought out hot bread. The atmosphere was 10/10 and the decor in the restaurant is exquisite the wedding decor just took it up a notch. I would go back here again."

"At the No. 4 for a conference. The food was fresh, tasty and varied. In fact, good enough that given a choice it might sway my venue selection in future. The setting across several floors allows attendees to stretch their legs between working sessions. The rooms vary in size and offer a range of options for different sized groups and a range of session types from networking to lectures and working meetings."

"The staff at this restaurant were unfriendly and unwelcoming. The pittabread was served in a clear plastic bag that seemed to have been heated in the microwave, causing it to become hard as soon as it was taken out. The mixed meat skewers were presented as a plate of lukewarm shredded meat. The service was lacking charm and I had to constantly seek out the staff to order drinks."

"I always enjoy going to this restaurant. The service is good and the atmosphere is lovely. However, I have noticed that the portion sizes are a bit smaller than they used to be. Despite this, everything is still..."

"I visited last night with my wife. We were very kind and polite with them, basically in a very nice mood. We were given a small lovely 2 seat table at the edge of the restaurant. 1. The hostess informed us that the Tagine was better than the tagines from Agadir in Morocco. We actually had visited a great little authentic place in a village outside of Agadir which was absolutely delicious, so although we were a little skeptical her confidence made us very excited and looking forward to ordering tagines. The waitress was very cheerful and friendly. 2. The menu was different to the menus which they have on both the Internet and their own website. Still, we ordered lamb tagine, and lamb shank (the fish tagine was not available . 3. LAMB TAGINE: absolutely disgusting. The 2 prunes and some almonds would suggest a certain flavour of dish, however the bland lamb (apart from the over peppering which choked and lingered in the throat sitting in a puddle of water drowned everything away. It tasted like water was poured onto the dish moments before serving. 4. LAMB SHANK: this was half decent. over spiced though. The lentils in the dish were like an Indian dish, so if you want a middle eastern lamb shank mixed with lentils from an Indian restaurant then you may like. 5. We arrived at 7:30pm. At 8:40pm, after the waitress offered to bring over the deserts menu and while she was getting it, the waiter gave us our bill and shoved the card machine in my face. At that moment the restaurant was half full (or empty! , however he instructed us to pay as they apparently had a booking. It seemed that despite the restaurant having ample empty tables, they needed our small 2 seater table-which was beside 2 other (empty! 2 seater tables. I informed him that the waitress is expecting us to order desert, yet he didn’t seem to care and just wanted us gone. Even though my wife was less than half way through finishing her drink. The waitress arrived with our deserts menu, which the waiter didn’t seem to care. NOTE: They add a 12.5% service charge to the bill. This is optional for the customer, however they casually include it when punching in the bill amount in the machine. 6. We took our half finished drink to the bar as the waitress told us to have our desert and tea there. Sadly the whole bar area smells of the toilet which is nearby. So while we were deciding to sit away from the toilet, the hostess approached us and very rudely told us to quickly decide and sit down. I am so glad I decided to leave. Their bad service, terrible food, and smelly bar fortunately didn’t ruin our day. We continued our night in the west end laughing about this experience. Swearing to never eat there ever again. But skeptical and gobsmacked about some of Levant and Kenza’s (same restaurant, different name and location positive reviews. Hope this review helps people to avoid wasting their money. Ps. £3.95 for a small glass of flat, watered down coke!"

"Went there for a quick bite while visiting London. The atmosphere of this place is amazing. Ordered meat shawarma, meat was juicy and so tender. had one of the best shawarmas in such a long time. Fries are not the cheap kind. Real potato hand cut and fried, great taste. The hot sauce was balanced between heat and a mix of tasty ingredients. Ordered lemon mint drink. It was fresh and refreshing. Great taste. I highly recommend the place if you are shopping at Oxford center and need a boost of energy to get back to shopping."

"the windows still say blue garden, but alohabrqzilian opened it doors for us with a big smile. the chicken, cheese and beef snacks are amazingly crispy and light yet filled with taste. in any case, they ask for the diving sauce! the tuna sandwich is really one of the most beautiful things I had in my time in london. beautiful view on metalgar square, beautiful atmosphere, fun music, and super tasty eating!"

"Comfortable though rather informal arrangement of easy chairs and coffee tables in the Lounge Bar. Booked afternoon tea and received excellent service and a great selection of teas. Loved the little egg timers for correct brewing. As I am are allergic to fish I had contacted the hotel previously and was glad to find that the message had got through to the staff in the lounge. They made me a lovely alternative to the in-house smoked salmon of roasted peppers and cream cheese. Scones were amazing though the patisserie selection was a little avant garde for my taste. Well worth £30, not only for the quality and quantity of the food but for the atmosphere and service which made it a special occasion."

"The manager needs to do a refresher course on customer service. The restaurant is suppose to be a Lebanese cuisine but had only Indian food as mains? Me and my friends had ordered mocktail and the drinks were literally half a glass, the drinks were overpriced in terms of how much we got. We ordered a shared Tapas and unfortunately it wasn't really sharing Tapas the portion sizes were very small. When trying to discuss this he came across quite arrogant and had very little listening skills. We were extremely upset the way he dealt with things so cancelled our main, however we didn't let this dampen our mood and went to the Turkish restaurant down the road and they really went out of their way to serve us good food, big portion sizes and gave us dessert which was in the house."

"This is The Restaurant To Go For at Edgware Road where it will find more takers than leavers for Lebanese cuisine. The restaurant has been there for a few decades and it will be interesting to find what came first the settlement surrounding it or the restaurant itself. Did it behave like a protagonist to the Lebanese loving foodies? or was it rightly located and grew out if them to begin with? Whatever the reason the result is A+. So finally when you're in you would be treated like an absolute guest from the word go and that's what makes it special. The food has to be undoubtedly the best or else this Lebanese place would have fallen apart years ago. When you're eating don't order too...read more"

"absolutely nothing wrong with eating delicious. but we went to the mother's lunch. was almost the first at the place. first the service was ok, then the starters were left almost an hour after completion on the table. the children's main courses came 20mins or so into the waiting period. not only had to clear the plates, but also find out where our nets had to be. my wife was so excited that she had canceled her, so there was a certain unavoidability that she showed up. to be fair, the shnormous mgr removed the meal of my wife from the bill, which was estimated and she took the meal free to house instead of throwing it. it's a shame because eating was really delicious, it's just the service element that needs to be seriously repaired, and it shouldn't be that hard. the fingers crossed."

"Our experience at this restaurant was not great. We received the wrong food order, which was bland and we didn't finish it. Despite our request for an apology gesture, we received none. The lack of a notepad for taking orders accurately likely led to the mistake. Additionally, there is a sit-down fee of £5 per person on top of the shisha price, and customers are required to share tables with others, which we found to be absurd. As a result, we decided to leave the shisha place and go to another lounge after dinner. Overall, our experience was disappointing and we have no plans to return. We do not recommend going out of your way to dine at this restaurant."

"Mixed review...some highlights, some items need attention. Space was very nice but one of my party had coughing from the heavy smoke from the hookah smokers in the front of the property as the smoke made way into the dining area. Lamb was superb, chicken seems to be a leftover of cold tiny pieces of dry chicken. Service was excellent and very friendly. I liked the place but the smoke and the one chicken dish were serious detractions."

"Situated in St Johns Wood, we would have expected the eateries to be pricey (high overhead costs, etc) but this Lebanese restaurant was offering a lunchtime deal so we thought we would dine there. After alerting them of my wife's food allergies they appeared to be able to satisfy our requirements from the lunchtime menu but after ordering they decided to steer my wife towards an alternative choice which we thought would still be charged at the lunch offer price. It wasn't. So a meal for the two of us (once the high service charge had been added) came to £47.00 rather than the £35.00 anticipated. So we did feel rather taken advantage of. A short-sighted strategy as we will now not return to this restaurant. The food itself was decent, if not outstanding and portions reasonable. Service was friendly and the atmosphere pleasant. Just a pity we came away with the impression that we had been overcharged for our meal."

"What 's the point in reserving a table, weeks in advance only to turn up to the restaurant to find that the booking was ignored me we had to wait 10 minutes for staff to clear a table? Waste of time. Baroushka has gone from a lovely restaurant into a 'pack 'em in ' fast food joint."

"Had our first family meal out since before lockdown at Zouk Lounge last night and it was so worth waiting for! Lovely food, generous portions, great value (even without the 50% off scheme)...this is as close to proper, home-cooked Lebanese food as you'll find anywhere in this area. Our waitress was friendly, very polite and efficient. In fact, all the staff seem great and really keen to ensure your dining experience is positive. The owner clearly is genuinely passionate about and proud of his business and his enthusiasm is contagious. This place may not be posh or pretentious, but I honestly think it's one of the best restaurants in MK and can't recommend it highly enough. See you again soon, Zouk Lounge"

"Comptoir Libanais offers an incredible atmosphère here by Kingston Riverside. The view is just unique and beautiful as you have the river right next to you. The food and drinks were great. I loved every bit of them. What I loved the most is that the food wasn't super hot when it came to us which is great as you don't need to wait to eat it. It was at the perfect temperature to be eaten. Their portions were good for the price and the quality was superb. We were served by a man who was always smiling, being friendly and served in a way that made us feel like we were home. The service was also fast to be a restaurant which is something we also loved. Everything seemed to be clean and organised. I never heard anyone shouting behind the kitchen which shows how professional the place is. This is not my firs time here and I continue to like what Comptoir offers in Kingston so I will recommend it with 100% certainty."

"Disappointed to have booked and not be warned about the mezze being the only available option. Told when sat down. Not much option but to accept. Food great. Tried to charge for each of us there were adults and an year old and year old despite agreeing to do deal for the of them when we ordered. When asked for the bill I was over charged. They didnât leave bill on table and just tell you the value and present the card machine immediately. I queried and he went to alter. I paid. I realised that in fact they had charged more than the first time. I ended up having to ask for a print out of the bill on my way out. He gave it to me. It wasnât even our bill plus theyâd charged for the set menu!!?!?!!. I wrote down what we had eaten and drank and we added it up properly together and he had indeed overcharged by He couldnât refund the card and so gave cash. Lush food. If you go please check whatâs on offer before you go. Then insist that the bill if left on your table like in a normal restaurant. This gives the customer the time to check all is well before paying. I really felt the chap was trying to pull the wool over our eyes. Donât let them! He did the same to another table which had a couple and a young child of about or Charged The excuse was that he couldnât deduct dine in because we only wanted set menus. Rubbish. We have eaten out all month in the scheme in restaurant in bristol and in central London and this is the only time Iâve heard this tosh. Chap could put whatever he wanted into the till ...itâs his restaurant. of us dined. x to come of bill. I found the whole invoicing experience poor and embarrassing."
