"This was such a nice experience! The reason for 4 stars is because of the waiting time and the way of making a reservation. It was hard to make a reservation, the website said there was one spot left, but the woman on the phone told me not. After 30 minutes I got the spot, but first I had to wait in the Monkey bar. Beautiful view, delicious cappuccino and nice crew members. After the cappuccino I was guided to my seat with also a beautiful city view and the food... so good!"

"Disappointed to have booked and not be warned about the mezze being the only available option. Told when sat down. Not much option but to accept. Food great. Tried to charge for each of us there were adults and an year old and year old despite agreeing to do deal for the of them when we ordered. When asked for the bill I was over charged. They didn’t leave bill on table and just tell you the value and present the card machine immediately. I queried and he went to alter. I paid. I realised that in fact they had charged more than the first time. I ended up having to ask for a print out of the bill on my way out. He gave it to me. It wasn’t even our bill plus they’d charged for the set menu!!?!?!!. I wrote down what we had eaten and drank and we added it up properly together and he had indeed overcharged by He couldn’t refund the card and so gave cash. Lush food. If you go please check what’s on offer before you go. Then insist that the bill if left on your table like in a normal restaurant. This gives the customer the time to check all is well before paying. I really felt the chap was trying to pull the wool over our eyes. Don’t let them! He did the same to another table which had a couple and a young child of about or Charged The excuse was that he couldn’t deduct dine in because we only wanted set menus. Rubbish. We have eaten out all month in the scheme in restaurant in bristol and in central London and this is the only time I’ve heard this tosh. Chap could put whatever he wanted into the till ...it’s his restaurant. of us dined. x to come of bill. I found the whole invoicing experience poor and embarrassing."

"The problem with Vancouver is the halal scene is poor. Accustomed to halal fine dining in London , UK I may be slightly critical of Vancouver. My husband read that this restaurant had newly opened and from the pictures on social media the restaurant looked promising although certainly not fine dining. We both went last weekend with great expectations and we were really let down both with the decor of this place and the food. We ordered the soup, fattoush salad and hummus with meat as starters. For the mains We ordered a chicken dish on flat bread (a palestinain dish called musakhan) and a kofte dish as our mains. The starters and my MAIN dish came together with the server saying they were very busy and could not serve the starters separately. We started on our starters BUT I could not really enjoy as I was afraid my mains would get cold ... and to be honest it was not really warm when it arrived at the table anyway. The starters were good but I had to rush so that I could start on my mains. The Muskhan dish was disappointing luke warm and tasteless. My husband was still waiting for his mains but gave up and finished off the 3 starters. Then his mains came but we had to refuse it because it arrived simply too late. Oh and at the beginning my husband had ordered tea but that never came and the usual jug of water was not placed on our table either. The manager owner did apologise and he did not charge for my husband's mai dish, took 25% off the bill and gave my husband tea. But the point is we trekked from downtown Vancouver to what we hoped would prove to be an enjoyable dinner but it was poor. The decor is poor with a water fountain which is small and takes up needless space. I was disappointed with this restaurant but it was very busy (they do not take bookings) and I think you have to stick to ordering their standard mixed grill and this may be their dish which is good."

"Last week, I was invited to dinner at a new restaurant called Aline in Mayfair by PocketHighStreet, and it was without a doubt, the most food I’ve ever eaten in one sitting (and I grew up in Cyprus! "my visit to beirut meza I liked very well, although my eyes might have been too big for mine. I had several of the hot and cold midshot, of which I would highly recite the hommos (a slightly spicy version) and the kalaj beirut mezza (a hello stuff flatbread) the chef, imad, clearly has a strong passion for eating that he cooks, and was about the dishes worth knowing would again eat a lot."

"A really nice and laid back spot to go and hang out. In a really busy area this is one of the few places you can enjoy a nice quiet meal or drink. Lebanese food is usually very good and it's no different in this place. They do an excellent shawarma so that's what I'd reccomend. They've got shisha and nice hot drinks so you can go and cozy up during the winter or anytime really. The service is excellent and staff are very friendly."
