"The ambiance at this restaurant is pleasing. However, we noticed that our orders were taken after another couple that arrived after us, so the service could be more attentive. The breakfast we had was delicious. While the menu didn't mention an option for turkey speck, they were willing to add it to our order or replace it with something else when we asked. They also offer soy milk as an alternative option. One negative aspect to note is the restroom, which definitely needs improvement. There was black mold on the walls, the room was very cold, and we even saw a cockroach scurrying across the floor, with the kitchen located right next to it."

"This place was so wholesome and warm immediately on arrival. Me and my friend both ans lunch, she had a gluten free bagel, I had a chicken wrap. Mine was so tasty and succulent, she expressed hers to be flavoursome and moreish. Food was delivered hot and promptly to our tables. Whilst overall the staff were all great, everyone made us feel welcome and pretty much everyone engaged in a conversation at some point. Haddy was particularly friendly and helpful, and nothing felt to much from him. All in all great service, great atmosphere and great food. Would definitely recommend for wholesome quick bite to eat ."

"that was great. service was a bit poor, one of the older waiters, or perhaps the manager, didn't seem very polite and allowed us to order starters and main dishes separately. he probably knew that after ordering a lot of appetizers would be full and would not later order main dishes, so he asked us to order together with appetizers because “the kitchen was busy” and could not order. when they go to a restaurant, they should be free to order what they prefer, at any time especially during the lunchtime, the kitchen was not close or something."

"Hi. I've been with my wife to both branches many times. This time I was taking a friend. I booked for 8.15pm. Before we were seated or looked at the menu, we were told we needed to order, as the kitchen was closing. Once seated, another waiter told us we needed to order everything we wanted to consume, as the kitchen was closing imminently. As soon as the lovely food was brought to the told, we were given the bill and told to pay, as the till was closing! Soon after 9.30pm (before 9.45pm can't remember exactly , we were told the restaurant was closing and time to leave! I'd recommend the food, but warn them about the service ;"

"We had a lovely time at Fairuz, it’s small and cosy with a nice atmosphere. We asked for their choice of meze to start with, we were brought three cold and three hot meze, all delicious. Mains are substantial, I couldn’t finish my chicken shish and we took the leftovers away. The Lebanese wine was a pleasant new experience, again we asked for guidance and the restaurant staff were more than happy to advise. Service was friendly and efficient, we did wait a little while for the food but it is a small restaurant and the staff are working hard. We will definitely visit again"

"Came in on Saturday evening with a booking with my wife and a friend. We got seated promptly. We were given two menus between three people, we had no service after 20minutes of sitting there and we could see staff and the manager by the bar having a chat. Service was so poor, I used my phone and booked Maroush across the road in Knightsbridge instead, so we got up and left. The manager said why are you leaving, didn’t even try to stop us or come up with an excuse. absolutely shocking services for a restaurant that has a minimum spend of £35 per head plus £2.50 cover charge and the 12.5% disc charge on top!! NOT RECOMMENDED! SHOCKING SERVICE!!!!!!!!"

"I had a terrible experience at this restaurant. Firstly, they did not have my reservation from OpenTable. Secondly, I was seated at a bad table near the kitchen even though there were other options available because I did not choose the Valentine's set menu. Thirdly, the most disappointing part was that my wife received a meat dish instead of the vegetarian dish we had ordered. Despite confirming with the waitress, they still got the order wrong. My wife, who has never eaten meat before, took a bite of the meal she was served, which ruined our evening. Additionally, our drink order was mixed up and we were given the wrong drinks. When my daiquiri finally arrived, it was the worst I've ever had - just rum and juice in a water glass. It was a complete joke! I will not be returning to this restaurant."

"The food at this restaurant was excellent, but despite making a reservation, we still had to wait. The staff seemed more apologetic towards walk-in customers who also had to wait. The service was okay, but not exceptional, and while the food was good, it was pricey compared to other establishments on Edgware Road. We were expecting a superior experience compared to other restaurants in the area, but instead, we received a similar one at a higher cost. It may be beneficial for the restaurant to reconsider how they justify their prices."

"Excellent service! We arrived 1 hour early and we're still accommodated and served in a timely manner by Daniel. He was very pleasant and courteous. The food was delicious very tasty. The Sea Bass was done to perfection. The Baklava had the right amount of sweetness. The hummus was so good that I ate too much with bread and could hardly finish my main course. I really enjoyed all the dishes. Will definitely visit again. Vegetarian options: There were two vegetarian main dishes. There were also vegan starters and desserts. "Maison du Mezze at first appears to be well decorated eluding a soft ambiance, good music and inviting smiles. I was sourly disappointed in the quality of food. The starters were sadly the highlight. We were served a range of cold mezzes which were tasty. The hot starters included kibbeh and well grilled softened halloumi. All satisfying. I must say that there was nothing special about the lentil soup, I guess it was foreshadowing the blandness to come. The mains were in all aspects of the term, tasteless. We had kabsa and another fish rice dish. The rice was dry, the fish rubbery and the lamb ok. Finally, our desert, I have never seen the word be so misused. We had a very cold, bland, textureless rice pudding. The disappointment after a long list of let downs was obvious on my face when a lovely waiter came to ask if everything was ok. The other desert was immemorable. Frankly, I would give this place 2 stars, but the service was excellent and the decor divine."

"So I've been going to this shop since my Teenage years, now I'm an adult. I love how it's an authentic Turkish restaurant run by a Turkish family. Good people serving good food. I have friends that travel for 20 minutes for their special home made Chilli sauce. For sure it's worth a try. It's a nice family run shop which the family still work hard on. In fact I grew up watching them develope it and can tell you the quality has not slipped, only improved. Good food at fair prices. Will surely be back soon."

"bakchich was an excellent culinary experience with a unique Lebanese cuisine that is so rare to see in the food scene of the city. with generous portioning and especially helpful staff I am happy to eat here again. Although the menu for people who were not familiar with the names and jargon was easy to interpret, the employees were more than happy to show which meal my preferences fulfilled. I forgot to mention my allergies on sweet and sesame seeds, as we were distracted with the birthday of my friend, and when that came, I saw my slender hühnerburger, who was covered in sesame seeds. my mistake to recognize, I asked the staff to change the burger, but our server came by and said he would be more convenient to use with a new court to prevent any danger of contamination. I was very pleased with the consideration of the employees of their customers. with regard to the design of the restaurant, the decoration was impressive and felt very authentic, which added the Lebanese experience. the personal even played happy birthday on request for my friend, and the whole restaurant sang along wished him well. Overall, bakchich is a restaurant that I highly recommend to try the people, even once. the staff is very much trying to ensure a fun time for their customers and eating is worth for its noticeable taste of great. will be back soon."

"For months, I was hearing from friends about a sister restaurant of Beirut Express on Brompton (one of my regular favorites . Finally, on 05JUL19, three of my compatriots and I wended our way up to High Street from our hotel and were so pleased to find this wonderful space with the same delicious food and service.Over the last couple of years, I have had their shwarma, kabobs, hummus, olives, and a number of other items from the menu. (Treat yourself to a side order of their French fries! My favorite by far is #55 Farrouj Meshwi or Boneless Baby Chicken. Always flavorful and succulent, I’ve never found it like this anywhere else in the world!The highlight of our visit was our server, Christian. He was attentive, friendly, and generous, with a warm, wonderful smile. I’m in London once every month and this will be my go-to place."

"We went here after my son’s graduation at the request of the graduate. We’d been here once before on a whim. For a chain restaurant in a shopping centre this place is really nice. Very busy decor presumably designed with the European customer in mind but so cheerful, colourful and lively. The welcome is fantastic and so is the food. Classic Lebanese and Middle Eastern cuisine but you can also have a version of steak and chips too so even more conservative eaters would be OK. The cost mounts up easily but we will still definitely eat here again."
