"had a terrible experience at this place. first, the restaurant had not booked my booking as I had booked via opentable. second, I sat in the worst possible table next to the kitchen, although there are other tables available as I decided not to go with the Valentine Set menu. third, the most disappointing of all, my wife served a dish with meat, when we had ordered specifically for a vegetarian dish. we had double checked with the waitress while we abandoned the order, but they still screwed up the order. my wife had never eaten meat in her life, but took a bit from the meal she served. that ruined us the night. to finish everything, the drink order was also grounded and we were served the wrong drinks. when they served the daiquiri I had ordered, it was the worst I had lived in. it was nothing but juice served in a glass for drinking water. it was a sweat! never return to this place."

"Comfortable though rather informal arrangement of easy chairs and coffee tables in the Lounge Bar. Booked afternoon tea and received excellent service and a great selection of teas. Loved the little egg timers for correct brewing. As I am are allergic to fish I had contacted the hotel previously and was glad to find that the message had got through to the staff in the lounge. They made me a lovely alternative to the in-house smoked salmon of roasted peppers and cream cheese. Scones were amazing though the patisserie selection was a little avant garde for my taste. Well worth £30, not only for the quality and quantity of the food but for the atmosphere and service which made it a special occasion."

"The ambiance at this restaurant is pleasing. However, we noticed that our orders were taken after another couple that arrived after us, so the service could be more attentive. The breakfast we had was delicious. While the menu didn't mention an option for turkey speck, they were willing to add it to our order or replace it with something else when we asked. They also offer soy milk as an alternative option. One negative aspect to note is the restroom, which definitely needs improvement. There was black mold on the walls, the room was very cold, and we even saw a cockroach scurrying across the floor, with the kitchen located right next to it."

The restaurant has been there for a few decades and it will be interesting to find what came first the settlement surrounding it or the restaurant itself. "This place was so wholesome and warm immediately on arrival. Me and my friend both ans lunch, she had a gluten free bagel, I had a chicken wrap. Mine was so tasty and succulent, she expressed hers to be flavoursome and moreish. Food was delivered hot and promptly to our tables. Whilst overall the staff were all great, everyone made us feel welcome and pretty much everyone engaged in a conversation at some point. Haddy was particularly friendly and helpful, and nothing felt to much from him. All in all great service, great atmosphere and great food. Would definitely recommend for wholesome quick bite to eat ."

"Our experience at this restaurant was not great. We received the wrong food order, which was bland and we didn't finish it. Despite our request for an apology gesture, we received none. The lack of a notepad for taking orders accurately likely led to the mistake. Additionally, there is a sit-down fee of £5 per person on top of the shisha price, and customers are required to share tables with others, which we found to be absurd. As a result, we decided to leave the shisha place and go to another lounge after dinner. Overall, our experience was disappointing and we have no plans to return. We do not recommend going out of your way to dine at this restaurant."

"this place has been there for eternity, eating was really delicious and really good, good quality ingredients, service was fantastic and super friendly, this is by far the best hommus I had in london so far. I have 2 advices for the owner/manager: music repeated 2/3 songs in the background, this was a vibe killer, music is the soul of the place, little investment and it can be a game changer, second the bathroom; it didn't look good, and it wasn't good to take care of. other than that. "another great suggestion from my Cypriot friend.Fairuz is located in marylebone, a very beautiful area of the city. Eating is well done, and all that they would expect from stellar Mediterranean cuisine: humus is obligatory as the pita-like brot, the long-term are damn good and we have not yet reached the main thing! my choice was the number a dry thin-crusted imperada with grill chicken and seasoned, which would later get a beautiful yogurt dressing treatment. everything I ask is there, and it is both a very rich part and a festival of the aromen. for dessert, even if everyone was stuffed and imagined to eat something else, we were forced by my Cypriot friend to try the moholabdi (padon for the writing errors,) a cheese, honey and pistachios heavenly tasty that looks similar to a Panna-Cottta, but far superior. everything in all is the only mistake of the restaurant the personal. they are quite unfriendly and boundless. a true scandal, how the quality of the dishes from this kitchen deserves more and I would far superior the overall experience if the staff were rather polite; Sometimes it sounds almost like we had a huge inconvenience for some of the waiters!"

"Hi. I've been with my wife to both branches many times. This time I was taking a friend. I booked for 8.15pm. Before we were seated or looked at the menu, we were told we needed to order, as the kitchen was closing. Once seated, another waiter told us we needed to order everything we wanted to consume, as the kitchen was closing imminently. As soon as the lovely food was brought to the told, we were given the bill and told to pay, as the till was closing! Soon after 9.30pm (before 9.45pm can't remember exactly , we were told the restaurant was closing and time to leave! I'd recommend the food, but warn them about the service ;"

"Although the restaurant is pleasantly decorated, that was the highlight of our visit. We felt that there was a bad attitude to customers from the start. We asked for tap water and instead of being given a jug for the table, we were each given a half filled glass. When we saw the astronomical prices for drinks, for water, for creamy milk drinks we realised that we'd better make our tepid tap water last. The food was average with no extras like you'd expect our cold mezze plate for was basically some dips plus rice in vine leaves. No pitta you have to pay extra for that. Rest of food distinctly average, some not nice at all spinach parcels avoid. Very loud music playing. Large service charge added. Will never go back"

"We were here to celebrate a birthday with 12 people. We pre ordered all dishes, hoping for a slick service. The food and the service were perfect; a very dedicated waiter literally did not loose sight of us for a second until we were all served and happily eating amazing! The size fo dishes differs, but that is not a problem as sharing only adds to the pleasure. I think I have tasted 10 different dishes and don't know which one to highlight. A marvelous gastronomic memory! Wines are on the more expensicve side, but really excellent too!"

"I decided to make a reservation at Maison du Mezze for an early dinner before a show and I was not disappointed! Despite the slightly higher prices, the location right on Leicester Square made it worth it. The stylish decor, lively atmosphere, and delicious food were all excellent. They make their own juices and smoothies, as well as baklava made with real honey. The mezze dishes were all very tasty. By sharing small plates, we were able to save a bit of money without sacrificing quality. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring we were served quickly so we could make it to the theater on time. I highly recommend Maison du Mezze and would definitely return."

"Disappointed to have booked and not be warned about the mezze being the only available option. Told when sat down. Not much option but to accept. Food great. Tried to charge for each of us there were adults and an year old and year old despite agreeing to do deal for the of them when we ordered. When asked for the bill I was over charged. They didn’t leave bill on table and just tell you the value and present the card machine immediately. I queried and he went to alter. I paid. I realised that in fact they had charged more than the first time. I ended up having to ask for a print out of the bill on my way out. He gave it to me. It wasn’t even our bill plus they’d charged for the set menu!!?!?!!. I wrote down what we had eaten and drank and we added it up properly together and he had indeed overcharged by He couldn’t refund the card and so gave cash. Lush food. If you go please check what’s on offer before you go. Then insist that the bill if left on your table like in a normal restaurant. This gives the customer the time to check all is well before paying. I really felt the chap was trying to pull the wool over our eyes. Don’t let them! He did the same to another table which had a couple and a young child of about or Charged The excuse was that he couldn’t deduct dine in because we only wanted set menus. Rubbish. We have eaten out all month in the scheme in restaurant in bristol and in central London and this is the only time I’ve heard this tosh. Chap could put whatever he wanted into the till ...it’s his restaurant. of us dined. x to come of bill. I found the whole invoicing experience poor and embarrassing."
