"Beautiful designed restaurant and bar near Leicester Square serving Aegean inspired dishes. We had Seabass Ceviche, Saganaki cheese with truffle honey, Taramasalata Tzatziki dips to start and for mains the sliced Roast Chicken with barley, and graviera cheese and Pastichio which is a Greek baked pasta with king oyster mushrooms and a cheese sauce. For dessert we shared the Lokma , fried dough balls with thyme honey, walnuts, and served with Madagascan vanilla ice cream. A very filling sweet! Prices are high but it is a central location and a good place for a date night and there is good music with different DJs"

"Bad food. Loooong wait both for drinks and food. Waiter (owner I was told) got 2 meals wrong. Brought calamari fritti for my husband and I which he never ordered in his life and I can 't stand them as they are like rubber in the UK so would never have ordered that. Waiter insisted I did, not once but 3x! My husband actually asked for whitebait! My husband ordered calf 's liver as a main which is soft and succulent in France, Germany and Greec etc. It was thin and like shoe leather. It is supposed to go into a hot pan, then turned over after a few seconds and taken out of pan served. This is what it should be like "A classic of British cooking, Calf 's Liver is succulently tender and fine grained with a deliciously mild, sweet flavour. More and more people are discovering the delicious flavour of Calf 's Liver due to its place on the menus.« I took it home to give to the dog and foxes!! My friend next to me (we were 13) ordered meatballs which were so salty she couldn 't eat them. Another lady didn 't like how the fish was done. It was mediocre. MY mussels had anorexia. I have photos. They were non existent or if there was one in the shell, it didn 't measure more than 5mm. 20 were empty and the sauce was not nice. Obvs they were not fresh mussels, they were cooked already and just heated up. Lots and lots of small broken shells in the sauce. Must have been the last dregs. Just as well I didn 't swallow one of the shards. Will I go back? No, I 'll go to a real Italian restaurant next time. Bragging about an Italian chef! He needs to go on a cookery course IN ITALY! I lived, ate and cooked there. I know what Italian food is supposed to taste like!!!!! And sooo expensive."

"We dined on a Sunday night. We were like the only people in the restaurant. We sat for 20 minutes before someone came up and asked if we wanted drinks. Should have walked out then, but we stayed for dinner. For the meal we had to chase down the waitress and asked the hostess to help us out. The food was ok. The portions were small even for Europe. Think I’ll try something different next time as London has many French restaurants."

"On Open Table we picked a waterfront view restaurant for 7:30pm. When we arrived, the restaurant name was not clearly marked and we found out it was a Hooka Lounge, not the restaurant it was made out to be in Open Table. They directed us to the inside restaurant where the owner or manager greeted us rudely and told us we should know what restaurant we were booking and that he had a full house coming in at 8:00 pm (1/2 the restaurant was empty or tables were getting up). We were very upset as it was late and we were now far from all other places to eat so we sat by the bar. He finally conceeded to sit us at a regular table. We ordered drinks and the waitress came back to tell us they couldn 't make those drinks. We ordered a 2nd set of drinks and the same thing happened. I then just ordered a glass of wine. Restaurant was so dark, we could barely read the menu. Food was good but they wanted to bring out apps and food all at once after we told them we wanted oysters first with drinks. I would not recommend nor go back"

"first we came in and it was really ugly. there were quiet music and the furniture was really nice. next we ordered, but our waitress was a bit grumpy. but our food came in 14 minutes. it is like almost food restaurant. the Canadian breakfast was really good and the pancakes were huge and delicious. it is a really good restaurant and some of the waiters are really polite. this is a definite 4-star restaurant I just turned 12"

"We were initially seated and given the menu, but we noticed there was no drinks menu. When we tried to order drinks, the server assumed we already knew what we wanted despite not having a drinks menu. We ordered wings that were overcooked, but the shrimp was tasty. Next, we ordered the skewers. The skewers were brought to our table, but we were left to cook them ourselves. When we tried to cut the meat off the skewers, another waiter scolded us and said that the other waiters would have taken care of it for us. Overall, the service was lacking, particularly from the Asian server with glasses. The skewers themselves were delicious, but we experienced better service at a more affordable restaurant."

"Went to Meat Co for my anniversary. There was a hair in my steak. I'm not so much annoyed about this but was more frustrated at the attitude from the Manager. Firstly, she denied that there was a hair making me feel as if I was lying about it. Secondly, they expected my boyfriend to eat his food whilst i watched him for 30 minutes whilst a new steak was cooked. Had to keep pushing for our food to come together, rolled her eyes took all the food and brought back the food altogether. Bad experience on this occasion but have previously had a good experience at this restaurant."

"I recently visited Sander's Yard bistro for the second time and it was a wonderful experience. The restaurant is located in a charming courtyard, the staff were attentive, the atmosphere was great, and the food was delicious. I ordered the vegan platter and was impressed with the fresh ingredients and attention to detail in preparation. "Terrible Experience Unkind Staff and Poor Service I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience at this bar and restaurant was so frustrating that I feel compelled to share. From the moment we walked in, the staff were unwelcoming and seemed irritated by our presence. It felt like we were an inconvenience to them rather than valued customers. Our server was rude and dismissive, barely paying attention to our requests and acting like we were wasting their time. When we asked simple questions about the menu, they responded with a condescending attitude, as if we were bothering them. The entire atmosphere was uncomfortable, with no warmth or friendliness from any of the staff. To make matters worse, the food took forever to arrive, and when it finally did, it was mediocre at best. Combine that with the rude service, and it was easily one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. I definitely won’t be returning and wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone looking for a pleasant night out. There are plenty of other places where the staff actually care about their customers. Avoid this place if you want to enjoy your evening!"

"We received a warm welcome upon arrival at the restaurant and were promptly seated at our table with menus. The menu was well explained to us and we ordered a glass of champagne while we waited for our afternoon tea to be served. The sandwiches were flavorful, though slightly dry, and the cake selection was excellent, particularly the strawberry shortcake. Unfortunately, the scones were disappointing - they were small, dry, and claggy, leaving a strange aftertaste and making them difficult to swallow. The scones should have been the highlight of the experience, but in this case they were truly awful. It was a shame, as everything else, especially the service, was top-notch."

This time it was an hour, and during the wait, we were only offered a drink, which I think should have been complimentary given the lengthy delay. "We booked here for an Afternoon Tea to celebrate our Anniversary It is a shame that there wasn 't any choice of afternoon teas today apart from the Easter Afternoon Tea as we had been there before and had the Gentlemans Tea menu On the plus side, the staff were friendly and welcoming here. The warm scones were good but could have been slightly larger like normal scones). The sandwiches however were very poor as the bread was dry and some of the fillings were quite sparse between the slices of bread the classic cucumber with beetroot cream cheese on tomato bread for example) had hardly any beetroot and cream cheese on it. We mentioned about the dry bread issue when paying for the Afternoon Tea but not much of a response came back or offer of any compensation. The selection of cakes looked very 'artisan ' but were very sweet. Some were quite sickly sweet. The little nest with the chocolate eggs inside was probably the best of the cakes. This Afternoon Tea was quite expensive for what it was £56 for 2 people) this included a pot of tea or a cup of coffee which they would top up on request). My rating is based on this Afternoon Tea is of poor value. The attentiveness of the staff over the teas and coffee 's and the relaxing feel of the birch room where we dined were the only plus points of the experience. So overall not what we hoped our Anniversary Afternoon Tea Celebration was going to have been."
