"The staff at this restaurant were unfriendly and unwelcoming. The pittabread was served in a clear plastic bag that seemed to have been heated in the microwave, causing it to become hard as soon as it was taken out. The mixed meat skewers were presented as a plate of lukewarm shredded meat. The service was lacking charm and I had to constantly seek out the staff to order drinks."

"I always enjoy going to this restaurant. The service is good and the atmosphere is lovely. However, I have noticed that the portion sizes are a bit smaller than they used to be. Despite this, everything is still..."

"The service and food were fantastic. Although the ambiance was a bit lacking at first, it improved significantly as the restaurant began to fill up around 10:45."

"Shocking of a restaurant All I can say the food is overrated and its not worth the money I went with my wife, after reading the reviews. I had the chicken shawarma and my wife had Shish taouk. First of all the shawarma did not test like a tradional Lebanese dish, it had a weird texture look to it and it was a weird looking dish. All though my wife enjoyed her Shish taouk, both mains were not worth the price. Each costing with a half nan and abit of salad on the side. What a rip off, you get a small portion for that price They also charge for service charge, which to be honest should be waived off as the restaurant is already expensive as it is In all honesty we didn't get what we paid for. Been to so many restaurants and had better food and worth the price than this overrated restaurant. I hope they will change their price as well as their small and stingy portions They had a mix grill for all you get is wings, Shish taouk and lamb chop, I was like what a rip off To be honest the only thing I liked about this place is the deco and good customer service, other than that I will never come back here again."

"We had a lovely time at Fairuz, it’s small and cosy with a nice atmosphere. We asked for their choice of meze to start with, we were brought three cold and three hot meze, all delicious. Mains are substantial, I couldn’t finish my chicken shish and we took the leftovers away. The Lebanese wine was a pleasant new experience, again we asked for guidance and the restaurant staff were more than happy to advise. Service was friendly and efficient, we did wait a little while for the food but it is a small restaurant and the staff are working hard. We will definitely visit again"

"The food at this restaurant was excellent, but despite making a reservation, we still had to wait. The staff seemed more apologetic towards walk-in customers who also had to wait. The service was okay, but not exceptional, and while the food was good, it was pricey compared to other establishments on Edgware Road. We were expecting a superior experience compared to other restaurants in the area, but instead, we received a similar one at a higher cost. It may be beneficial for the restaurant to reconsider how they justify their prices."

"I recently visited Comptoir Libanais in Kingston and would like to provide some feedback on my experience. The restaurant's location and interior design are truly impressive and contribute to a welcoming atmosphere. While the starters were enjoyable, I found the main course to be lacking in quality. Despite being served on a tagine plate, the lamb dish resembled meatballs and did not adequately absorb the sauce plus undercooked, leading to a disappointing overall taste. Additionally, the service was slow, resulting in extended wait times for both ordering and receiving our food. Upon arrival, the dishes were only lukewarm, suggesting a need for improvement in kitchen management and attention to detail. Furthermore, I found the pricing of the dishes to be on the higher side, considering the overall dining experience. It is worth noting that outdoor seating allows smoking, which may be a concern for some patrons. However, I appreciated the proactive response of the staff when they noticed our dissatisfaction, as they kindly offered complimentary tea and baklava. Overall, while there are aspects of the dining experience that could be improved, there is potential for Comptoir Libanais to provide a more consistent and enjoyable experience for its customers."

"Excellent service! We arrived 1 hour early and we're still accommodated and served in a timely manner by Daniel. He was very pleasant and courteous. The food was delicious very tasty. The Sea Bass was done to perfection. The Baklava had the right amount of sweetness. The hummus was so good that I ate too much with bread and could hardly finish my main course. I really enjoyed all the dishes. Will definitely visit again. Vegetarian options: There were two vegetarian main dishes. There were also vegan starters and desserts. Dietary restrictions: The menu has all the allergens listed for each dish."

"Everything was just not up to standard.. They were sold out in there to special breads when we came. We waited for too long both with drinks and mains. for drinks (we got our starters before they came, and there were two bartenders in the bar not doing anything else than talking to each other) and about for mains. We got some pita bread in compensation. And we didnât like out of three dips to it. Our waitress were so arrogant and didnât even explained the concept or asked about if we liked the food. Besides that there were so many different waitresses there came to our table and they didnât talked together because they asked us the same questions. All in all not value for money a bad experience and we wouldnât come back."

"What 's the point in reserving a table, weeks in advance only to turn up to the restaurant to find that the booking was ignored me we had to wait 10 minutes for staff to clear a table? Waste of time. Baroushka has gone from a lovely restaurant into a 'pack 'em in ' fast food joint."

"The food at this restaurant was delicious, healthy, and refreshing overall. It can be difficult to find an authentic and tasty Lebanese restaurant, so I really enjoyed my experience here. I particularly enjoyed the special touches in the Spiced Hot Chocolate, which had rose petals and pistachios. The houmous was amazing and paired perfectly with the warm bread. The open wrap with Halloumi was decent, although it could have been warmer when served. The waiters were friendly and there were plenty of vegetarian options available, which was great. There was a good selection of vegetarian dishes on the menu. The service was top-notch, with a meal type of dinner and a price of £20-30 per person. The ambiance was nice, with a rating of 4 out of 5. I recommend trying the Meze dishes and for vegetarians, I highly recommend this restaurant for its large selection of vegetarian options."

"So I've been going to this shop since my Teenage years, now I'm an adult. I love how it's an authentic Turkish restaurant run by a Turkish family. Good people serving good food. I have friends that travel for 20 minutes for their special home made Chilli sauce. For sure it's worth a try. It's a nice family run shop which the family still work hard on. In fact I grew up watching them develope it and can tell you the quality has not slipped, only improved. Good food at fair prices. Will surely be back soon."

"Comptoir is one of my favorite restaurants in Bath. Having visited Beirut frequently, I can say that Comptoir's food is authentic, fresh, and incredibly tasty. It reminds me so much of Lebanon. When my parents visited Bath, I took them to Comptoir. My Dad, who used to fly in and out of Beirut and eat there all the time, was very impressed by the food. This is a fantastic endorsement for the delicious taste of authentic Lebanese cuisine. We are lucky to live nearby and can enjoy dining there regularly. The staff is excellent and the restaurant is always fresh, clean, and lively. As soon as you walk in, you are welcomed with a warm greeting and a vibrant ambiance that transports you to a different world. I highly recommend trying Comptoir - you won't be disappointed."

"I had a meal at the restaurant alderley edge on Sunday Nov.7th, which was my family tasty bites to my 80th birthday on Tuesday Nov.9. I have never felt so important, the personal was really attentive, eating was delicious and to distribute it from irfan, I think that was his name) dimmed the lighter, played happy birthday music and brought me a delicious part of honey and mandelkuchen, enough for the four of us. what a beautiful geste! top class!"

"The restaurant offers a variety of excellent fresh juices and good lunchtime deals. However, the consistency of the food has declined slightly. A discretionary service charge is added, but the service could be improved by having more staff during busy times. Overall, the atmosphere is good. Recommended dishes include the hummus. Service rating: 3 out of 5. Food rating: 4 out of 5. Atmosphere rating: 4 out of 5. Meal type: Lunch."

"what a unique foundation we found here in durham. we visited shaheens at a cold and rainy night. a part of the block lost that makes early in the day; yet, shaheen is enduring and remained open. at the arrival we were greeted by Adam. as it turns out, this is a family-run restaurant, and adam is the son of the greender bob. but it felt more like being with the family (thanks to a restaurant where they cared for them and make sure they are completely abandoned and satisfied. eating was solid and proved a warm passion for the delivery of family recipes. we tried several articles from the starters to the specificities and sides of baltic shaheen. spice was well managed and delivered on the basis of their requests. and even the Spicier options were well controlled. for beginners we have tried the fried tweezers (bloods, india style, mushrooms and garlic, and a lambkabob. the kabob was by far our favorite. we then tried the black meal (a secret menu item). it was a solid surprise. for the net we both enjoyed the chiken tika (mild and spicy). it was strong in taste and filling. this was connected by brown basmati rice and garlic naan. all in all, worth a trip and a place we go back to. remember it as more house style where the family that operates the establishment welcomes them and cares for them. prost, shaheens."

"Completely dissatisfied with my experience at this restaurant. I ordered the Full English Breakfast with tea, and they arrived together as requested. However, the tea was served in a small espresso cup on a saucer, and I had to ask for milk as it came in a milk jar with a lid. The breakfast itself was as advertised, but the plate it was served on was cold, causing the food to quickly cool down. The eggs were undercooked, and the plate was too small for the serving, resulting in the toasted bread falling off. The atmosphere was good, and the initial waitress was adequate, but no one checked in to see if everything was satisfactory. If they had, I would have expressed my dissatisfaction then and there."
