"Comptoir is one of my favorite restaurants in Bath. Having visited Beirut frequently, I can say that Comptoir's food is authentic, fresh, and incredibly tasty. It reminds me so much of Lebanon. When my parents visited Bath, I took them to Comptoir. My Dad, who used to fly in and out of Beirut and eat there all the time, was very impressed by the food. This is a fantastic endorsement for the delicious taste of authentic Lebanese cuisine. We are lucky to live nearby and can enjoy dining there regularly. The staff is excellent and the restaurant is always fresh, clean, and lively. As soon as you walk in, you are welcomed with a warm greeting and a vibrant ambiance that transports you to a different world. I highly recommend trying Comptoir - you won't be disappointed."

lovely interesting food in a large area with quirky decorations. The service was a bit patchy but friendly. We enjoyed our special night out for my husbands birthday.

The restaurant did not meet the usual standards we have experienced at other locations of this chain, such as in Oxford and London, where the service and food were exceptional.

Arrived with email booking. Waitress denied knowledge of booking. Begrudgingly shown to table. Food served before drinks. Had to ask twice again for drinks. Food ok. Service poor View menu

They've *finally* found the dimmer switch for the previously over lit canteen, however the economies have rendered the tagines unrecognisable with meatballs not pieces of meat, and barely any sauce/marinade sadly. I would have preferred the price to increase instead.

one of the most pleasant meals at midday in the bathroom. this place offered many important things I observed. a real reception and very friendly staff. the fast service. the food was fresh, well presented, delicious. I'll come back. I love everything about this restaurant.

Lovely restaurant and staff. Toilets need a revamp, my husband ordered chicken which was very dry. I had mezzo for one, the falafel was very hard and the cheese pastry was also tough in texture. Good wine. On the way out I noticed a specials menu which we weren’t offered. Not planning on returning. View menu

The staff were highly attentive and the meal was delightful, especially the mixed grill. The restaurant was quite empty during a weekday lunchtime, so we moved tables as we were in a noisy area with loud music playing. However, the music was a bit too loud overall. We plan on coming back, as the flatbreads, baba ganoush, and tabouleh starters are a must-try.

The food was absolutely lovely. We ordered the chicken tagine and the mixed grill, which were both delicious. One small thing is that I was disappointed when I ordered the 'fresh orange juice ' from the menu only to receive juice from a carton... the word 'fresh ' should really be removed from the menu unless the restaurant plans to start juicing some oranges right there and then, it 's a bit misleading.
