"We were pleasantly surprised by the 'amuses bouches' served before our Indian meal; these little bites were like mini fireworks in our mouths. For starters, we had calamari and satay skewers of chicken, prawn, and beef fishcakes—each one offering unbelievable flavor combinations. The mango sorbet served as a palate cleanser was another delightful surprise.
I confidently chose the monkfish 'Sri Lankan style' for my main dish, eager to see just how talented the chef really was. I think I may have found my new favorite dish. The chef and owner, Ram Jalasutram, previously headed kitchens at prestigious establishments like Gleneagles and the Dorchester, and he already has a successful restaurant in Oxford. I truly believe he is a culinary genius, and we're fortunate to have his new restaurant in our little Twickenham. How lucky we are!"
