"do you want to feel demolished? eat here! we paid a lot of money for a meal for two, but the absolute kicker was this “key starter”, which for five of the smallest pieces of fried fish they have ever seen. a piece kalamari!. introduce yourself to be served in a restaurant. I raised the question and this is obviously the correct portion size. I think it's totally unreliable to calculate so much. the fish was good, but nothing spectacular. I guess if they are gluten-free, they seem to have a lot of options, but be willing to pay for it. make them please and take a takeaway from Ken’s fish bar on half moon lane. there is a reason why it is rated much higher."

"This restaurant review is extremely disappointing. I ordered a medium cod, cod bites, chips, peas, and curry sauce on Saturday night. It cost £15, which is not cheap, but on top of that, everything was cold. The chips were soggy, the cod portion was small, and the cod bites had very little actual fish in them, just a lot of greasy batter. I hesitated to leave such a negative review as I know it can impact a business, but it is only fair that people are informed and that the restaurant realizes they need to improve. We had high expectations based on our positive experiences at the Deep Blue restaurant on the pier."

"I have been a customer of this fish and chip shop for over 20 years. However, in the last 2-3 years, I have noticed a decline in the quality of their food. My most recent visit on a Saturday evening at 8:30pm was disappointing. The limited choice available made us settle for whatever they had, and even the fish took around 15 minutes to be served. We ordered a sausage meal deal and a pie meal deal, but were informed that there was no curry sauce left except for the scrapings of the container. When we arrived home, we found that all the food was cold and had to be microwaved, except for the chips which needed heating. It is truly disheartening to see the decline in quality after more than 30 years of enjoying delicious fish and chips from this shop. I would recommend finding another place for your fish and chips takeaway needs."

"We had the worst experience with the fish and chips at this restaurant. We felt like we were ripped off. We placed an order for pick up and when we got home, we found that the chips were undercooked, soggy, and some even tasted raw. The fish was bland and tasteless, with too much batter - it was like eating cardboard. We had to add salt to make it somewhat palatable. We ended up throwing away all the chips and could only manage to eat some of the fish. To top it off, it was incredibly expensive - we spent £28 for two people! It was a huge disappointment. We suggest avoiding this place at all costs as it seems to have no consistency in the quality of their food, as evidenced by all the 1-star reviews."

"I was looking to have something to eat whilst looking around Leeds about 9pm, when I unmistakenly got the whiff of a chip shop. Having visited Leeds quite a few times and stayed in Vicar Lane Travelodge a number of times, was unaware of a nearby fish shop. The smell led me to Nash,s. No customers in, so ordered fish, chips, curry sauce and cup of coffee.Bit of a wait, but presumed it was the cooking of my order of fish. Sat at a table and a tv with country music videos was playing on the wall. Supper came on crockery plate, with metal cutlery and a mug of coffee with seperate jug of milk and the curry sauce came in a seperate dish too. All hot, clean and no complaints about the meal whatsoever. Total price was £8.50. whilst having my meal some customers for a takeaway called in and a steady stream of orders seem to have gone out the door, maybe from justeat. Will call again. Really nice, thank you."

"we expected a high quality fish and chip restaurant in the vene of harry ramsden. the seat and waiter service was good, but eating was very common. freshly cooked restaurant chips should be crispy outside and on the inside they do not float. also plates must be large enough for the food. plaice should be served alongside chips that are not served above them due to lack of space. the waitress was very pleasant, polite and friendly, but the ambiente was zero. I would not recommend deepthroat blue in norwich to be a friend of the fear of the comeback."

"Considering you’re up London and paying over the odds to begin with for food. You’d think the chefs would have at least been trained in cooking. I know shock horror that I’d expect a chef to be chef trained Firstly I cannot fault the waitress. It’s not her fault. She done her job well. Even memorised the order without writing it down. However the food was so bad I think a child could have whipped up something better with a cooking set from the Early Learning Shop. My hunters chicken was horrendous, it was so over cooked team GB could have used it as an Olympic discus and won gold The waitress did offer to get me a new one but why would I want it again, it took them mins to make this, why would I want to wait another minutes for the same pathetic attempt However of the boys had the fish finger sandwich which looked alright. Nice to know for they can cook birds eye fish fingers and cut slices of bread. All in a days work or a top chef I guess. Overall I wouldn’t go back if you didn’t get the gist of the this rant Over and out"

"I visited this restaurant the other day while on my way to meet someone, so I was in a hurry and unsure about what to eat. However, as soon as I walked in, I was warmly welcomed by a friendly server who was very cheerful and helpful. They guided me through the menu, made several recommendations, and I ended up choosing a large bowl of fresh tuna poke with quinoa. The sauce and additional toppings were fantastic and complemented the flavors of the poke well. After most of the customers had left, I sat and chatted with one of the servers. I also admired the decor, which had a calming and relaxed vibe with white walls, subtle Mexican accents, and plenty of flowers. The combination of delicious food and excellent customer service made for a wonderful dining experience. I will definitely return when I have the chance."

"The fish and chips were fantastic! We are visiting family in the UK and had a large group, adults, a teenager and two children total). We were able to book a table and it was ready as soon as we arrived. Our family who lives in the UK were very impressed as well, they commented that this was proper fish and chips. Definitely try the mushy peas! I had never heard of them but they were out of this world good!! Miller’s was awesome, service was great, food was great and we loved it. We are spoiled and will compare all other fish and chips against Miller’s."
