"The food was terrible, we had sharing dishes as we were there for Pride and the mac and cheese was burnt. The only other options was halloumi and nachos. It was 11am in the morning, so I thought there might be brunch options. The service was very good though and the drinks were flowing! Price per person: £10–20 Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3"

"The best pub in London! Since relocating to Old Street, we've quickly made the White Cross Tap our favorite local spot. The consistently friendly service, excellent drink selection, and unbeatable pizzas are simply amazing! If you’re in the area, I highly recommend enjoying their beer garden for a 2-for-1 cocktail in the sunshine."

"Disappointed! Good for a night out but sadly they weren’t very well prepared for a hen night party that was booked over a year ago… Also, the food was tasty but wasn’t what the menu stated eg: sweet potato mash was actually 6 tiny cubes of sweet potato and we had to ask for things that were missing like onion rings or ice cream from puddings ! If they would have explained there issues to us before we had to complain then it wouldn’t have been so bad. If it was just for a birthday that you can redo another time but this was for a one off special occasion (Hen do). They only really offered us 2 bottles of Prosecco to apologise (and a bigger booth with decorations which we had actually already paid for anyway). They didn’t know what package we had actually paid for!! The actual staff serving us were fine and the cocktail instructor but it just seemed that management didn’t seem to be prepared for a hen party. Would go back for a random night out but wouldn’t advise going for such a special occasion."

"What a great find for bottomless lunch with a great variety of drinks and cocktails rather than the standard prosecco or beer that everyone else does. The food was also excellent by the way and was plenty full to soak up the drinks! I have to praise the lovely lady (apologies I forgot your name) who was serving at the bar that day as she was very friendly and had a great sense of humour so did not get offended by my rowdy friends and their sarcastic sense of humour!!!!"

"I love Duke Of Somerset! It’s always lively with a diverse crowd. The staff are always cheerful and attentive. On this occasion, the restaurant was packed with reserved tables, and our table was at the end of a large party of 40. They kindly rearranged the seating to accommodate us more comfortably. The menu includes Wray Nephew, which is always a plus, but I made the trip mainly for their chicken wings, and they definitely didn’t disappoint!"
