"This vibrant pub offers efficient service at the bar and reasonable prices for its location. The outdoor area is spacious with plenty of seating options, providing a lovely retreat from the nearby busy roads. With ample room for groups or events, as well as a good selection of tables, it is an ideal spot for gatherings. The bar itself is beautiful, and I definitely plan on returning."

They had a good time during their visit to the restaurant, but they were disappointed with the limited drink options - no beer on tap and the bottled drinks were quite expensive.

I had a great time at the restaurant, but I found the food and drink options to be limited. They didn't have any ale and only offered wine by the bottle, which I thought was overpriced.

I went with a friend after a theatre show without booking before and we will definitely be back! the pub is beautiful, eating is delicious and the staff on Tuesday has welcomed us and looked after. I recommend it to everyone!

A great pub, somewhat let down by the architecture. The building has a very 70s feel. However, there is not a lot we can do about that! So, the pub itself. Great welcoming, lovely staff and great beer. A success and one that I shall continue to visit because I enjoy the company. A solid place.

the duke of somerset is a great place for a sunny day. they have a fantastic terrace with picnic chairs surrounded by green, so it is a bit of an oasis from the huge buildings of the city. also the drinks are sooo good priced, I paid £3,50 for a glass red wine £6,80 for a double shed with fever.

I love this place! It's always buzzing, has a very mixed crowd. The staff always cheerful and helpful. On this night it was full of reserved tables and our table wa at the end of a large party of 40. They managed to move things around to seat us better. They serve Wray Nephew always a bonus, but I traveled all that way for their chicken wings that didn't disappoint!
