"After visiting here, Twice last year and having good food both times, we decided to book for my husbands birthday!!! They had no balsamic for the dipping bread. It just tasted like cooking oil, not olive oil. After asking for some balsamic, we were told someone would go to the shop for some!!! Both myself and my daughter, Ordered the chicken skewer. It looked good,, although a bit too charred for me. I poured what was supposed to be the “garlic butter on the top to flavour the meat before I realised this was not butter or garlic!!! After complaining, I was assured it was garlic butter! But I persisted and was told they’d run out of garlic butter! As I’d already poured it onto my meat, it tasted dreadful, so oily. My daughter in law mentioned her gnocchi was also tasteless. Also the chips were dry. On complaining They offered us 10% off the bill and a free drink. My son in law wasn’t happy with this and said that our 2 meals should be knocked off the bill. They did agree to this and also gave us a free drink. I was just disappointed that I didn’t enjoy and couldn’t finish my meal. I believe the rest of the party were satisfied with their choices."
