"We had reserved a table for 2 for 8 p.m. and had the “bad” idea of arriving 10 minutes before. The table was not ready and the manager/boss informed me that we were ten minutes early. As there was an empty and mostly unset table next to the counter, I told him that it didn't matter, that we could wait at that table. He didn't want to and made us understand that we had to wait outside it was 0 degrees and freezing! After telling him he was rude, we turned around and went elsewhere for dinner! I have traveled to more than 30 countries and frequented hundreds of restaurants of all price ranges: this is the first time I have been so poorly received!"
