"We had reserved a table for 2 for 8 p.m. and had the “bad” idea of arriving 10 minutes before. The table was not ready and the manager/boss informed me that we were ten minutes early. As there was an empty and mostly unset table next to the counter, I told him that it didn't matter, that we could wait at that table. He didn't want to and made us understand that we had to wait outside it was 0 degrees and freezing! After telling him he was rude, we turned around and went elsewhere for dinner! I have traveled to more than 30 countries and frequented hundreds of restaurants of all price ranges: this is the first time I have been so poorly received!"

Upstairs so nice and airy . Very good service for 5 people from a fairly young but very attentive waiter . All of us had something different from the menu and all were delighted with the food . Would go again when in Stirling .

Some of the best pastas we have ever enjoyed! We had the seafood pasta and the house special Scottish beef ribs pasta. Fabulous friendly owners and staff. Had a bizarre evening here where we ordered food and drinks, and the drinks just never came. Asked three times and consigned ourselves to eating without them. Then had to ask four or so times for the bill, which when it finally came they tried to charge us for the drinks that never appeared. And added a service charge as well!
