"This was my third visit to Alba, as I had enjoyed the food very much on previous occasions. It is expensive but I thought it was worth it for a special occasion. However I will not be visiting again after this visit. First of all, one of the reasonably priced wines on the menu (Picpoul which I love) was not available. No suggestions were made for a different wine but the one we chose was ok. The 'amuse bouche ' was a tiny portion of uninspiring soup. My chicken dish was floating in a bland, watery souplike sauce with undercooked boiled potatoes and leeks. My friends had fish which was ok; nothing special. Nobody asked us whether everything was ok until we had finished. I said that my sauce was watery and bland. The waitress immediately rushed off with my plate to talk to the chef. She returned with the unsurprising news that there was nothing wrong with it. It was supposed to be like that . The bill was £96 for 3 mains, one starter and a bottle of wine. The dessert menu was unappetising and like everything else, grossly overpriced. It is a shame as Alba used to be really great. Now it is pretentious and overpriced for what it is."

"We were looking forward to a Saturday evening there to have some food and enjoy some nice beer....the food was good when it came although the food order was wrong and the drink orders were repeatedly wrong after waiting an age to place them. We sat at our table for 25 minutes to begin with before we were even approached for our first drinks order. We were sat in the middle of the restaurant which was cramped and we had other customers chairs banging in to the back of us and the staff for some reason seemed to only serve us from one side of the table meaning we had to pass plates along the table and when they reached across us, dropped cutlery in our laps. Worsed of all was the heat, looking around at the other red sweaty faces of other customers is wasn 't just us suffering, had it been more comfortable we would have stayed until closing to enjoy the beer. Also please get your staff to learn the menu, when asking for mash as a side they repeated back, yep ok ganache ...eeerm no thanks, no chocolate sauce with my bbq chicken thank you!!! All in all a shame, been nice to go there before but this really spoiled a birthday meal."

"Ate here this evening as a family of five adults two kids. Most of us had three courses, all of which were delicious. Arancini were particularly good. Pizzas pastas all good, fresh, hot tasty. Service was fantastic, really friendly we felt very welcome well looked after. Meerkat meals made the evening an absolute bargain too! Highly recommended. Service: Dine in"

"We visited this restaurant on our first night in Durham as it was close to where we were staying. I am delighted that we did as the food was really good. There was a very good choice of main meals and also desserts. I can thoroughly recommend the chicken dishes and also the pannecotta. In fact, we enjoyed it so much that we returned again on our last night. The service was very good and our waiter was especially attentive and helpful as I have to eat gluten free. Thank you for two very enjoyable and tasty meals out."

"I have visited Bill's a few times and it has been hit and miss, but I thought having breakfast with friends couldn't really go wrong. Firstly, our drinks took forever to arrive due to a lot of confusion, as it was quite busy. Our food finally arrived after 45 minutes, but one order of poached eggs on toast arrived with the toast half soaked in water and cold eggs. We sent it back, and the second order arrived in a similar condition, with the manager placing it back on the table without apology. Two other dishes also had cold eggs, and an extra dish was brought out towards the end because the water bath apparently was not turned on. It was disappointing to find out that eggs, which cost over £12 per plate, are not truly made to order. Only towards the end were coffees and juices offered, which felt a bit too late. When presented with the bill, it seemed like a gesture to take off the cost of my meal (that I did not receive), so I had to ask for the drinks to be removed as well. A service charge was added, which felt like an insult considering the slapdash service and poor quality of food. After this experience, I do not plan on returning to Bill's."

"We had a pleasant dining experience at this restaurant. The atmosphere was lovely, the prices were reasonable, and the food was well cooked. I would recommend this place and will definitely return in the future."

"The food at this restaurant is amazing, with a great selection of pizzas that my kids loved. The crab linguine was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend trying the sticky toffee pudding for dessert. The service was top-notch, and we had a wonderful dining experience overall. I give the food, service, and atmosphere all a perfect score of 5. If you're looking for a delicious meal, this place is definitely worth a visit. The price per person is between £20-30."

"My husband, son and I were staying overnight at the airport before an early flight to Venice. We arrived late evening, shortly before the kitchen was due to close. The management were very accommodating and welcomed us to a table in the busy dining room even though we'd explained that we only wanted a light snack (we'd eaten on the train). They could easily have turned us away as inconvenient customers who were not going to spend very much so I was impressed with the courteous service and attention. We had a plate of ribs, a pizza and a cheese and bressaola dish generally tasty, good and fresh although the ribs were slightly tough. The decor in the restaurant is elegant, typically Italian with a flourish and there are photos of previous celebrity customers on display! Because it was late on a Friday night, the atmosphere was loud and lively and the wine seemed to be flowing freely perhaps not suitable if you're looking for somewhere quiet and romantic but perfect for parties of friends or families."

"I would like to share a few thoughts about Domo94, as my experience there was fantastic! As a true Italian who appreciates exceptionally good food, I have to say that this little gem in the heart of Camden exceeded my expectations. The food is delicious, and the generous portion sizes left me feeling completely satisfied! To top it all off, the chef and the amazing team create an atmosphere that makes you feel like you’ve been transported to a little slice of Italy for a few hours. Highly recommended!"

"This is based on a one time honest experience: Place was inviting and service was good and quick, but then again it wasn't busy at all. Food was good and bad. Ill elaborate: The person i was with had a stone baked pizza and it was amazing, no questions there. I had pasta Carbonara and then pasta Bolognese to see if it was any better. The carbonara was not good at all, the sauce was so little i was tasting the dough from which the spaghetti was made. It made the spaghetti dry and bad tasting. The Bolognese was good as far as taste goes, but there was something very odd. The sauce was very fat, as a matter of fact, it was so fat, it was sticking to the plate and fork like fine coating. Ive only ever seen this when cooking lamb(i cook). Obviously its not from the beef itself, its fat that was added to the sauce/meat mixture itself. I thought it was perhaps butter(or fat milk), but the consistency of the sauce wasnt thick and velvety, so i doubt it. Was probably animal fat. Ofc i might be wrong. In any case, the 25g of fat per serving of pasta Bolognese is probably wrong. As for pricing, id happily pay the price for the pizza, it was awesome! But the pasta, for what it is, was too expensive. I can say about the rest of the mains, but avoid the pasta if you can and grab yourself a tasty pizza"

"My wife and I picked this place on a whim on a Tuesday night while traveling in Dublin. It exceeded our expectations. The food was honestly some of the best Italian I’ve had. The staff was very attentive as well. Highly recommended."

" food). The sushi rolls were fresh and tasty, and the bento boxes were generous portions. However, in the past few months, the quality has declined significantly. The sushi now tastes mediocre and lacks the same level of freshness. The bento boxes are smaller and the food doesn't seem as well-prepared as before. Overall, You Me Sushi used to be a great lunch option, but now I would recommend looking elsewhere for better quality sushi."

"Came here as I'd heard the food was good and they have a good offer. Yes the main course was a good price, but when you factor in starters, garlic breads, desserts and wine it all evens out and your bill is still what it is. The interior is a little looking but it's the food that counts. My risotto was really good I'd come back just to have this again!! Our desserts were chocolate fudge cake served with very poor quality custard (I couldn't eat it, plus it was so gloopy it was stuck in the jug) and cheap ice cream. The cake was standard costco type cake, so they couldve given us a bigger slice considering it was £6 or so. We asked for the cake to be warm but was one was cold the other very very slightly warmed like it had only had 10 seconds in the microwave. Service is reasonably friendly very casual e.g. waiter in jeans, waitress in leggings and trainers."
