"We were looking forward to a Saturday evening there to have some food and enjoy some nice beer....the food was good when it came although the food order was wrong and the drink orders were repeatedly wrong after waiting an age to place them. We sat at our table for 25 minutes to begin with before we were even approached for our first drinks order. We were sat in the middle of the restaurant which was cramped and we had other customers chairs banging in to the back of us and the staff for some reason seemed to only serve us from one side of the table meaning we had to pass plates along the table and when they reached across us, dropped cutlery in our laps. Worsed of all was the heat, looking around at the other red sweaty faces of other customers is wasn 't just us suffering, had it been more comfortable we would have stayed until closing to enjoy the beer. Also please get your staff to learn the menu, when asking for mash as a side they repeated back, yep ok ganache ...eeerm no thanks, no chocolate sauce with my bbq chicken thank you!!! All in all a shame, been nice to go there before but this really spoiled a birthday meal."

"avoid this place to all cost, we bought and it took 2 hours to come, they accused us not to pay when we had paid on their own website, they were rude and guess what, they gave us the wrong order, and I had to call them to send us the right order. they do not apologise sincerely and if they are hungry, and they want to eat them, they will certainly wait a long time! and then you will be annoyed with them, yell at them and they will ril you, and you will not even be hungry! fantastic."

"on Sunday night here. very relaxed place. they can immediately enter with a nice soundtrack after a busy day. we were on a small road trip from london and landed ignorantly in the coastal sea town west mersea. mental notiz to go back there as we didn't have much time, but a local restaurant owner convinced us to serve some fantastic oysters before they closed. had seafood on the head so chose the mussel pizza here and a glass house white to accompany it. the basic was nice and light, but rather sparse. "An overall great dining experience. Started with Kalamar and beef sausage. The Kalamar was a bit rubbery and the sausage was a tad salty but on the whole pretty good. The Adana Kofte main, however was incredible and beautifully tender. Highly recommended! Even the complimentary bread was a great starting point. The staff were also kind enough to allow us to stick around a little while after we'd finished in order to feed our baby which was much appreciated."

"Visited for dinner with my wife on Saturday evening. The restaurant was busy which was reassuring. This place is not cheap especially for zone 3 south London! so my expectations are high. We went for a 2 course set menu £26.50 and shared a bottle of Prosecco £25 . For starters we both had the homemade tagilitelle with beef ragu... Soooo dry and bland, neither of us finished. There was also no offer of cheese or black pepper maybe Covid but can’t see why? . Mains came out pretty soon after but were sadly both also pretty unexceptional, duck breast cold with some veg and chips had to pay extra £4 for these and wife had a fish dish she didn’t enjoy and again had to pay an extra £4 for a side dish to make it an actual meal. After a pretty disappointing dinner we ordered the bill And coffee, which took 25 minutes and three requests to arrive !! . What frustrated me the most was the automated iPad style payment tablet, which suggest a number of service charge options which start at 15% going up to 25%.... Of course you can adjust this but to suggest that your local customers should consider no less than a 15% tip is quite insulting in my opinion especially for me who had to wait almost half an hour for the privilege of paying . Two course meal for 2 with wine and service a generously edited 12% was £103. Worth it? Definitely not."
