"on Sunday night here. very relaxed place. they can immediately enter with a nice soundtrack after a busy day. we were on a small road trip from london and landed ignorantly in the coastal sea town west mersea. mental notiz to go back there as we didn't have much time, but a local restaurant owner convinced us to serve some fantastic oysters before they closed. had seafood on the head so chose the mussel pizza here and a glass house white to accompany it. the basic was nice and light, but rather sparse. I counted 6 equal distances, which type of me said they were strategically placed to avoid a liberal scatter. everything in everything I can't really complain...read more"

"Best food in Guildford! My go to restaurant to celebrate with friends and family. Great atmosphere with delicious food! The pizza and pasta are the real thing! My favourite is the Siciliana pizza (tomato, capers, anchovy and garlic) in the picture I asked for cheese to be added. I usually go for the homemade tiramisu and sometimes the cheesecake. Had most of the pastas, always tastes fresh and packed with flavour. Never disappointed with food or service, best restaurant hands down!"

"This was our first time visiting the restaurant tonight, and it was a lovely dining experience. I had the sauce recommended by a very helpful staff member to accompany my steak, and it was delicious. They also suggested a great wine to pair with our meal, as well as a delightful cocktail for dessert. Thank you! My mother, Danielle, and I look forward to coming back soon. x"

"After living in the area for a while, I had a meal here by chance. I am back regularly once a week now. The staff is amazing, the food delicious and they make you feel like you are visiting a family. I can see that most people visiting are repeated customers and that is the best praise they can get. One of the best chowders in Dublin. Lamb shank with perfect mash peas. The burger you will love. Pizzas with a perfect base. My favourite lasagna. Bruschetta that is served as a starter but can be a meal on its own. Bread baked in-house, that reminds me of one my mother made. Steak made to your order with a side of vegetables that is always cooked perfectly. I tried most of the menu (lamb shank is my choice on most visits) and love it all. "

"This is the best Italian restaurant ever with top-quality wine selection. The service is excellent, the meal type is dinner, and the price per person is £30-40. The food, service, and atmosphere all received top ratings of 5."

"I was really looking forward to going back to Le Querce after a long gap. Sadly it was a disappointing experience. The evening menu now requires you to have at least two courses, costing £29.80, plus an extra £4.80 for side dishes. Two of us were almost 30 minutes late joining our group due to traffic problems but has to wait another 30 minutes before the orders were taken, with no offer of drinks or nibbles while we waited. The food was still good but our main was 6 not very big pieces of pasta stuffed with potato and cheese in a tomato sauce, which I felt was stingy for the price. One of our group only wanted a main course but we were charged £6.50 for the bread, cheese and olives she shared with another person on top of the set £29.80 for her 6 pieces of pasta. Another chose ice cream for her dessert, which is priced at £3 a scoop meaning her medium sized bowl of pasta with ragu was £26.80. I understand that costs have gone up since Covid but the combination of poor service, high cost and lack of generosity in portion size means that’s the last meal I’m likely to have at Le Querce. It may be because it’s winter but the range of ice cream flavours was far less interesting now as well. I wish I’d not gone back and only had the good memories!"

"Fabulous place! Warning! Quite addictive!. I have been enjoying Caminata for over three years now, and as a person used to visiting different restaurants and bars in many parts of the World, this place has me totally addicted to the easy going friendly atmosphere and the really good food! The pizza at Caminata is on a very different level compared to anything out there , nothing over-topped or heavy, just a really good and balanced pizza...as it should be! All food is crafted to perfection and the wine selection is fab! My only gripe is the lack of good whisky selection... Caminata seems to attract a loyal crowd of people with quiet appreciation of its special food and...read more"

"Confusing experience that I unfortunately regret how I handled it. Me and my friend went for dinner. As we were looking over what to eat we heard a couple who were a few tables down ask the waiter if the food was two for one on starters and mains. He responded yes. When the waiter came to our table I asked him the same question and he said yes. Me and my friend proceeded to order two starters and two mains between us(before I ordered I also asked him a further question if we could mix and match the orders. He also said yes) When the time came to pay only one starter and main was on the bill including our drinks. We paid the bill. Only then after the waiter asked if we had a card to show we get two for one on food. We were so confused at this point because not once from the start I enquired about the deal until we paid did he mentioned we needed a card to be eligible for this deal. In fact why even take payment before confirming. He spoke with his manager and they said we’d need to pay full price. I wish I hadn’t but I didn’t want to make a big fuss. It seems like a big oversight on the restaurants part not to check these things. In terms of food. My calamari included deep fried courgettes and bell peppers which I found baffling. I ordered calamari not calamari and vegetables. My friends pizza was underwhelming and the lemon spritz was not nice. Avoid if you can."

"We had a perfect meal at this restaurant, thanks to Lucy's excellent service. She graciously accommodated our request to move to a quieter table away from the main path. Lucy was polite, friendly, and very attentive. The food was absolutely fantastic. Thank you so much. In terms of parking, it can be challenging to find spots and not always convenient. However, the restaurant has ramps and disabled parking spots near the entrance for wheelchair accessibility. Overall, the service was excellent."

"Overall just a bit awkward. Taco starter lovely. The tattie scone nachos a tad overpriced for what it is but tasted alright. Service a tad slow to get going and not much of an ambiance. I feel the drinks and food here are a good few pounds more expensive than they should be and it’s probably down to location. Pork steak thing came in a bowl with a normal knife making it very difficult to get at and the fajitas were bits of bland, grilled chicken with no hint of seasoning or flavour. This dish too is a bit difficult to assemble given it was all served on one plate. The four slivers of pepper were far from enough. £17 for a cocktail and a 175ml glass of wine, whilst advertised and priced correctly on the menu, is kinda taking the mick in my opinion. We popped in on a different day for just a drink and £4.99 for a small can of cider also falls into that category. Doubt we’ll be rushing back when we inevitably return to Oban . They’ll likely not miss us given it’s usually busy, so they obviously are confident in what they offer and their prices."

"First time in Dublin but went back twice for dinner! First was a rib eye which was juicy and tender and accompanied by its crispy potato gratin, which was enjoyed to fullest. Went back second time and had their lamb shepherd's pie, which was simply awesome! Recommended for tthose who doesn't eat lamb cuz lamb taste is minimum. Cocktails tasted great. Tried their Sussex G&T, whiskey sour and aperol spritz!"

"I visited this restaurant for the first time yesterday evening. The staff were lovely, and the food was fantastic, especially the great two-course special for just £13.00. Since I only live 25 minutes away, I will definitely be coming back. My only minor complaint was the £11.00 price for a glass of wine, but my wife said it was very nice—though I was the one paying... again! Overall, it was a great dining experience. Service: Dine in, Meal type: Dinner."

"Food was decent as usual) but the service left a lot to be desired. The wrong food was brought out on one occasion and then added to the bill even though no one had ordered it). One item was unavailable which meant two of our party had to reorder. Another item a very simple one) the trilogy was brought out after everyone else had been served. We then had to send the bill back three times as it was incorrect. Our waiters/waitresses were all very apologetic but it was overall a poor dining experience that spoilt a welcome lunch for a new member of our team. We have visited The Life Goddess a number of times for team lunches and never a had problem previously. Sadly, I don 't think we 'll be coming back in a hurry which is a real shame :"

"insipido! did they know that this restaurant is not owned or managed by Italians?! there are no Italian cooks. no Italian waiter. eating is so dirty, the new menu seems to be chili on everything. no traditional Italian dishes at all. no taste for eating! where is the Italian authenticity? linguine all bygole the calamari could have been thrown off from the floor. zero taste on the over boiled pasta, no spice what ever. does not believe that garlic was used pennette con pomodorini served as a dog dinner. no taste, the pasta was over boiled and there was no taste of basil etc. I politely asked the waiter when the cook was Italian to say...read more"

"This was only my second ever visit to a Miller Carter, having taken my family to the Sutton Coldfield restaurant last year, so this is just a quick review to say the quality of service and food seems consistent across at least two of the venues. Steak was excellent, sides delicious, and all served piping hot and super quick. It's a big venue, and was moderately full, so this suggests that their kitchens are clearly very capable. The staff were all very polite and helpful, and the place was tastefully decorated. It seems like the M C chain are a reliable choice for a good meal yes, you pay a small premium, but for the quality of fare it's worth it."

"I made a reservation as recommended during the current situation. When I arrived, I was seated at my table, but a group of six foreign men were put at a table without a reservation and had their orders taken before us. We waited 25 minutes before anyone paid us any attention. At that point, I was close to leaving... When our food finally arrived, the Bruschetta was underwhelming - the bread was not even toasted and the toppings were lackluster. Then, our main course arrived as a pizza instead of the Risotto we had ordered. It was a disappointing experience overall. The loud behavior of the foreign men made us feel uncomfortable, and when we paid our bill, we were informed that we were the only ones who had made a reservation and were treated poorly. It is important to improve your service during these difficult times, as establishments like yours contribute to the challenges facing the UK."

"L'assaggino Richmond is a relatively small family run restaurant with a small menu of Italian dishes. It is on two levels with a relatively small upstairs area. Although it is small, the chat can be relatively noisy and isn't helped by the wooden floor. A quirky feature was all the side plates were different The food was truly delicious with pasta dishes featuring homemade pasta. There were seven in my group and we were all impressed. The tiramasu was also delicious. The whole experience was topped by nice red and white wines. Service was friendly, welcoming and efficient. A slight down side is that there seemed to be only one unisex toilet for the whole restaurant."

"This restaurant offers high-quality food at affordable prices. It is hands-down the best Italian cuisine I have ever had in the UK. The mozzarella focaccia is a must-try, and be sure to end your meal with the strawberry cheesecake. The service was excellent, and the overall atmosphere was pleasant. Dining in for dinner is recommended. The price per person ranges from £10 to £20. I would rate the food and service a 5, and the atmosphere a 4 out of 5."
