"I had minestrone soup and penne bolognese. Felt authentic but relatively tasteless, had to take quite a lot of pepper and salt and parmesan cheese. I would have liked a little more intense tomato flavor and more herbs. Good bread for the soup. The pasta was overcooked and the tomato sauce a little burnt but very nicely presented. Still bottled water was very good (Acqua Panna Tuscany) The Esperanto macchiato afterwards had a lot of foam, big as a lungo but good and strong. Nice waitress but the restaurant looked a bit like a school canteen."

Nothing is worse. Pre-cooked food and poor service. They have a sign on the door that they do not accept credit cards. The place is old and everything is worn and dirty.

WONDERFUL FOOD AND SERVICE!!!!! My wife and I were touring Kilmainham Gaol and noticed the small Italian restaurant across the street. We walked in, not knowing what to expect and were blown away by a phenomenal dinner. If you are in the area, this is a must.

Our Sunday was very special having family lunch in this lovely restaurant. It is very warm place, the staff is always so friendly. We had garlic bread and ravioli for starters, everything is home made and very delicious. For main we had chicken La dolce vita, the signature of this restaurant , lasagne and steak. For dessert we had cheese cake. Evening it was so delicious. We can't wait to go back again.
