"we celebrated a birthday party for about 25 people. the personal was very friendly and accommodating to our needs. they have designed a special cake for birthday. the food was delicious and we had a good dance later to finish a wonderful evening. I would recommend this place quickly to a friend for groups and parties."

"We had a very nice meal at what the Greenwich Galley was renamed. They are only open from 7 p.m. All employees were very friendly, but seemed somewhat unprofessional as if they were just learning the job. Our red wine was delivered tepid and, while apologetic, their only proposal was either they run it under a cold tap or leave it next to our cold water jug. That the food was very good, especially because we used her (unchanged) special food offer. All in all very nice evening, but could all be a little sharpened."

"Steak as requested for my child's birthday lunch, asked for medium ribeye and filet, came out well done however, we were hungry so didn't debate over it. Chips were not homemade, they're frozen. We decided against desserts judging by the quality of food, and shocking prices of desserts. We visited close to lunch break closing time and waitresses disappeared, had to go hunting for someone to settle our bill, could have walked out but we are honest people. Any other customer wouldn't have been so polite about the overall service and dry steak. The toilets needs a good clean too."

"A great find, the starters of squid and the charcoal cooked prawns was only a small indicator for the amazing stake sharing platter to follow. We always enjoy our steak rare and it was the perfect way for these lovely steaks. They come with three house sauce's too, and my wife was upset that the peppercorn sauce was as good as hers as she prides herself on having a great recipe for this. We had the Malbec number 20 on the wine menu which went perfect with the steaks too."

"Having been to Moo previously and as I was passing me and the girlfriend fancied a cocktail as they were advertised for £6 a go on the front window, why not! Went in and told the waitress we were only drinking and she said it...was OK. We sat down and looked at the cocktail menu. Menu wasn't clear what cocktails were £6 each so I went up to ask. Guy behind the bar just said the classics were included so fair enough. Went back to my table, looked at the menu but none were classified as classics so a bit confused went back up to the bar to ask and was intercepted by the waitress. Don't know if she was having a bad day but she was really quite rude and abrupt in advising me that it was actually a restaurant and thus table service and that I should go and sit down and wait to be served. (maybe don't advertise £6 cocktails on the window if your that restaurant orientated and also dont have a bar there if its just a restaurant). Went to sit down (didn't want to get told off again) and chatted with my girlfriend and told her I thought the waitress was pretty spiky. Now looked over to see the waitress serving the table next to us, caught her eye and got a look of a face like thunder lol (if you're gonna be that stressy maybe look for a new vocation away from hospitality anyway when she came over she took our order of 2 porn star martinis. 5 minutes later, the drinks turned up and I have to say that taste of the drinks were definitely as sour as the waitresses attitude. Not a very good balance of taste at all. Much better places to spend your money on brick lane. Thank moo very much!"

"We visited here today for our wedding anniversary meal. We’ve been regulars for special occasions for around 10 years now so it was a no brainer to visit again as the food has always been amazing. Sadly this would be our last visit. On arrival we were greeted by new faces. Turns out there’s new ownership, we obviously weren’t aware of this. We cannot fault the staff at all because they were all lovely and welcoming. Good start. Sadly the menu has changed a lot and many of our fave items were no longer on the menu. We ordered chicken empanadas for starters. They tasted the same as before but instead of using chicken breast it was now chicken mince. Not as tasty or worth the price in our opinion. For our main we both ordered fillet steak at over £30 a piece. My husbands was cooked perfectly (well done . Mine was not. I ordered medium and it arrived medium rare. Maybe even more rare as I attempted to eat it. The meat wasn’t even red in colour, it was a purple tone and it was so rare and wobbled like jelly on my plate. I ended up not being able to stomach more than 50% of it. And to top it off it had 0% flavour. Maybe the chef needs to season the meat in future. The chimichurri was spot on but my husbands peppercorn sauce was rank. It was a strange sloppy grey substance. Never before in my life have I seen grey peppercorn sauce! My husband soon regretted pouring it over his steak which then made it inedible. Ordered the garlic and parsley roasted potato side at around £5. It arrived as 3 large roasted wedges with a small amount of green sauce dribbled on the top! Bland and awful. I’m actually offended by this side in particular. The roasted red pepper however was lovely. But how hard could that one be to get right. My husband did however enjoy one part of his meal and that was the prawn starter. So well done for that one I guess. Still not enough to justify the amount of money we’d just been robbed of. We only had soft drinks with our meal so didn’t spend much on those but the total bill came in at just over £150. I can honestly say it was the biggest waste of money ever. Shocking food to say the least. In my opinion and advice to any regulars out there please steer clear. Sad to say after so many visits over the past decade, we will never return here. Any recommendations for a new steak house would be welcomed! :"

"After needing a quick car repair in Portslade, we found ourselves with an hour to spare. With our two children and dog in tow on a scorching day, we were in desperate need of breakfast and drinks. The nearest option was a small cafe that didn't look too appealing from the outside. However, with our time constraints and hunger pangs, we decided to give it a try. To our surprise, the food at this cafe exceeded our expectations and surpassed its unassuming appearance. They offered a variety of options for vegetarians, vegans, and those with gluten sensitivity, in addition to the usual bacon sandwich. The freshly prepared food was absolutely delicious, and the prices were so reasonable that I am willing to make a special trip just to try more of their dishes in the future. Even our children enjoyed their meals. If you find yourself in Portslade, near Brighton, I highly recommend giving this cafe a chance."

"Food was very good although very small portion size and expensive for what you get. The restaurant is very dated (multi function room in the hotel also used for breakfast etc), so not a nice experience. The service was like watching a creepy and gushy Laurel and Hardy show. 2x over the top waiters (sorry one was just a sommelier why? It’s not exactly a top notch fine dining restaurant) who were both ‘OTT’ one minute and the completely ignored you the next when you actually wanted something. Value for money poor. Expensive, small portions, billed for two bottles of wine when we only had one and then they automatically added an additional £20 tip to our bill to rub salt in to the wound. I won’t recommend and won’t be back again."

"Having never been here before and after reading great reviews about Cote, I decided to book this for my friend and I. On arrival, we were seated immediately at a table under the air conditioning. At first, we welcomed this as it was warm outside, but by the time we left, we were both very cold. For us, the staff were very attentive and friendly and the restaurant has a lovely atmosphere. On the downside, we didn’t think the portion sizes were adequate for main courses and our dauphinoise potatoes didn’t stay warm for long. Dessert was a very disappointing size wise if I’m honest but it was delicious. We had a bottle of wine and a cocktail each. Don’t make the mistake we made and add service charge on as it has already been added on."

"After living in the area for a while, I had a meal here by chance. I am back regularly once a week now. The staff is amazing, the food delicious and they make you feel like you are visiting a family. I can see that most people visiting are repeated customers and that is the best praise they can get. One of the best chowders in Dublin. Lamb shank with perfect mash peas. The burger you will love. Pizzas with a perfect base. My favourite lasagna. Bruschetta that is served as a starter but can be a meal on its own. Bread baked in-house, that reminds me of one my mother made. Steak made to your order with a side of vegetables that is always cooked perfectly. I tried most of the menu (lamb shank is my choice on most visits) and love it all. "

"I love this restaurant. It’s unpretentious and the food is excellent. The arepas are lovely and my favourite is arepas con carne mechada which is beef, the empanadas are delicious too and I love the plantains and Black beans . I often go there for...lunch and it is always excellent and really reasonably priced. The owners are really friendly and it has a really nice atmosphere. I cannot recommend it enough"

"We were at The Ned celebrating my sons 21st birthday. He wanted to go to the brunch buffet but unfortunately it was fully booked despite trying to make a reservation weeks in advance, so, we booked the American diner instead as my son really wanted to go The Ned so I thought this would be a good compromise. Underwhelming it was. A very limited unimaginative menu and very little atmosphere. At 2pm Sunday most of the tables were empty (all in the brunch I guess) . The food was very mediocre, no better than any other burger/rib restaurant I've been to, and despite me advising in advance we were there for a special occasion nobody made an effort to make my son feel special on his birthday other than the onligatory brownie with a candle brought to the table at the end of the meal... but brought to us while he wasn't even sitting there as he'd poppedto the bathroom!! Overall very disappointing and especially more so because despite it being quiet so really no excuses, nobody went out of their way to make our experience memorable in any way. Disappointing to say the least Ned."

"If the food is that good, I'm moving to Argentina! Honestly, I would argue until I'm blue in the face about my local steakhouse being the best in Norfolk, but this place has just blown it away by a mile! We didn't have a reservation, but we were warmly welcomed and seated right away, and I'm so glad they did! The waitstaff was exceptional - friendly, efficient, knowledgeable, and quick to recommend amazing dishes, especially their Chimichurri sauce, which was delicious! The owner even stopped by our table to chat, and you could feel his love and passion for the restaurant. We may have disagreed on Messi vs Maradona, but it didn't detract from the overall fantastic experience. Thank you for turning our underwhelming visit to Brighton around - we love food and dining out, and we couldn't be more impressed! Best wishes for continued success in the future!"

"We got married at Hillbark 11 years ago and had heard about Riviera so wanted to give it a try.. I'm not one for being negative but i felt the Food didn't live up to the setting HIllbark brand at all. The cellar was a fantastic space, however, the Food disappointed us on so many levels just didn't have that special factor very mediocre for the venue price.. We went for the Chefs choice tapas and felt it was very piecemeal in it's serving and content. No vegetables, duck was very salty, they gave us a double beef portion even though one of our guests had said they don't eat beef and the presentation was literally just beef or fish on a plate with a small token of chips... I'd love to go to Hallbark again as the building is beautiful, but with food like that i'm afraid we wont be going back."

"It's a shame that when you book a table for 12 that couples have to go to the bar independently and order separately and all the food cones out separately and some had finished before others had received their food. The chicken on my chicken salad was dry and overcooked. My wife ordered jacket potato but they had run out. Really?!! The floor was covered in chips and crayons. Staff were pkeasant enough. We won't be going back."

"I visited Bristol for a long weekend and stumbled upon this hidden gem. The atmosphere was friendly and the service provided by the Chef and Host was outstanding! As a native Cuban, I can vouch that the food and mojitos were top-notch. Whether you're meeting friends, going on a date, or simply wanting to try a new cuisine, this restaurant is a must-visit in Bristol. And don't forget to order the "Flan" for dessert - it's the best!"

"I absolutely love Fiddlers Elbow. Their fish and chips are always amazing. We usually get takeout, but I believe they make everything fresh to order, so the fried food is always hot and crispy. The staff are always friendly and cheerful. Overall, a fantastic dining experience. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5"

"Well, we are in the 21st century so I'm prempting a reply. The menu on the website albeit a sample menu was vastly superior to what was actually on offer, it was the website that tempted myself and my partner to book for food. Partner had a pasta dish, way ro dry at the end of meal partner asked if meal was OK, pointed out it was too dry no feedback or apology, main issue website tempts you to book on the basis of menu on said website but on seeing actual menu choice limited and very disappointing. Won't be back."

"The Argentine steak at this restaurant is fantastic! They have a great wine selection and the appetizers are absolutely delicious. We have been coming here for 3 years and the food quality has always been consistently great."
