"Sadly this once lovely restaurant was a disappointing experience. A table of 5 we had 3 roasts and 2 fish. The roasts were nowhere near as tasty as previously experienced, both the meat and yorkshire puddings were a little on the cool side, fortunately the gravy helped bring the temperature higher. Similarly the fish dishes lacked any great taste and again were a little on the cool side. We only had two puddings, one of which was fine but the Earl Grey Pannacotta left a lot to be desired and when my husband complained it was taken off the bill, however this was not communicated to us other than looking at the bill. This is a local restaurant and I certainly don't want it to fail however we will not be returning for food until we know things have improved."

They offer excellent fish and chips, as well as traditional breakfast dishes at a great price all day long. Their homemade mushy peas are fantastic, and the table service is friendly and fast. The bustling atmosphere, especially on market days, is a testament to how popular and well-loved Morgan's truly is."
