"Sadly this once lovely restaurant was a disappointing experience. A table of 5 we had 3 roasts and 2 fish. The roasts were nowhere near as tasty as previously experienced, both the meat and yorkshire puddings were a little on the cool side, fortunately the gravy helped bring the temperature higher. Similarly the fish dishes lacked any great taste and again were a little on the cool side. We only had two puddings, one of which was fine but the Earl Grey Pannacotta left a lot to be desired and when my husband complained it was taken off the bill, however this was not communicated to us other than looking at the bill. This is a local restaurant and I certainly don't want it to fail however we will not be returning for food until we know things have improved."

The food was nice though not remarkable. Service was a little slow and detached. I can’t give a 4 all round as we were sat in a bay window which was very cold.

It was shut and had been for a while. Your system is out of date. We had a difficult time finding somewhere else at short notice . Not very impressive on your part.

I thought the quality of food did not reflect the price....I had the lamb which consisted of two tiny pieces which were overcooked (noone checked on how the meal was as there was a wedding on) and 2 luke warm jersey potatoes....not much else....it was my first time there so I was disappointed
