"Overall a nice afternoon spent at the resturant. The sesting area we were given had remnants of someone else's crumbs etc. The food itself was nice but we seemed to get forgotten about when we were offered more bread and drinks, we had to ask for both again and there seemed to be a bit of a communication problem regarding dessert which we checked to see if it contained nuts due to an allergy, apparently it didn't, then half of the dessert arrived and apparently some of the components did contain nuts after all. We had also seen coffee or tea was complimentary on online advertising but we were intially charged for coffees we asked for until I pointed out the facebook post I'd seen that week offering the beverages as complimentary. I was just a little disappointed with the amount of little things for somewhere so highly rated and for the money/service charge applied."

Best roast I’ve ever had! Service was very friendly and efficient. Starter of chicken terrine was light and delicious. Roast beef was beautiful and the cauliflower rarebit was amazing.

The food was mediocre and failed to impress us. The whole dining experience felt bland and unexciting. Personally, I found the restaurant's decor to be uninspiring and the seating uncomfortable. White table cloths would have been a nice touch. However, the waiting staff were exceptional and provided great service.

Visiting the New Forest at anytime of year is magical, but especially so as the trees unfurl their new leaves. The Cambium restaurant at Carey's Manor is relaxing and spacious, with a high standard of service and food quality and at £30 for 2 courses, plus tea or coffee included, this is a great value Sunday Lunch venue.

The food at this restaurant is beautifully cooked and presented. The desserts are absolutely delicious. Although it may be pricey, in my opinion it is worth every penny. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and has a special atmosphere. The only negative point I have is that there isn't a dress code. I don't think it's appropriate to wear shorts and flip flops in such a lovely setting.

We began with a lovely starter of local asparagus and a glass of champagne(they brought two).We soldiered on with two unexceptional mains,an undercooked lamb, pink OK,undercooked not and an uninspired cauliflower with the correct wine,as taken studiously by number. However, the dessert of a tart so hard a chisel would not of helped! This was duly removed from the bill which the extra glass of champagne was not, despite being mentioned earlier. At a hefty £166 we deserved better.
