"The interior of Edwin's is cozy and inviting, with warm lighting and comfortable seating. The menu is diverse, with options ranging from traditional British dishes to more exotic fare. On my most recent visit, I opted for the steak and ale pie, which was absolutely delicious. The pastry was perfectly flaky and the filling was hearty and satisfying. The service at Edwin's is always top-notch, with friendly and attentive staff making sure I have everything I need. "Disappointing. We've eaten at Bumpkin (Westfield Stratford) previously. It's one of the few places there at which there is a pleasant atmosphere, a comfortable environment, and where the background noise is low enough to allow conversation at normal speech level. The food is unexceptional, but usually good. We were not in any hurry, but on this occasion the service was very slow and, if I thought it likely to be as poor as it was, I would be disinclined to return. I also thought that the cost of our meal was high in relation to the quality."

"Overall a nice afternoon spent at the resturant. The sesting area we were given had remnants of someone else's crumbs etc. The food itself was nice but we seemed to get forgotten about when we were offered more bread and drinks, we had to ask for both again and there seemed to be a bit of a communication problem regarding dessert which we checked to see if it contained nuts due to an allergy, apparently it didn't, then half of the dessert arrived and apparently some of the components did contain nuts after all. We had also seen coffee or tea was complimentary on online advertising but we were intially charged for coffees we asked for until I pointed out the facebook post I'd seen that week offering the beverages as complimentary. I was just a little disappointed with the amount of little things for somewhere so highly rated and for the money/service charge applied."

"Had to be in Edinburgh on business so went in here on spec. So glad we did!!!!!! Lovely atmosphere friendly, professional staff and the food was freshly made and absolutely delicious. My husband had kofta and I had chicken, we both had rice. There was a large plateful each and a small dish of spinach and one of okra along with a large, fresh, nan. We were stuffed!!!!! It is not overpriced and it is a neat, clean restaurant. A hidden jewel practically next door to the Mosque. Definitely worth a visit and we will certainly make the mile round trip to eat here again. Gorgeous Kurdish Iraqi food. Thank you all at Erbil for a wonderful dining experience."
