"Very old pub in a lovely village. Not that far from the A1M so quite accessible. Lovely gardens with tables if the weather is good. Extensive menu with good vegetarian choices. Good food and nicely presented. Good service. Good atmosphere but able to talk without having to shout. Ample parking."
