"We had a delightful festive experience, enhanced by the visit from Santa, which was wonderful for our little girl. The meal was enjoyable, and the staff were friendly with a good variety of menu options. However, the only downside was that the tables were quite small and we felt very cramped, especially as we were seated near large groups. The waitress had a bit of trouble serving us comfortably, and accessing the restroom felt challenging. My husband, who is 6 feet 5 inches tall, felt quite uncomfortable as the table was low, making it difficult for him to fit his legs underneath. Despite these issues, I understand it was an exceptionally busy Sunday due to Santa's appearance, and we still had a lovely time overall."

Brilliant staff, made conversation and had a laugh with you. Couldn't do enough for you. Excellent food, not too messed about with and not too pricey either for the area. Would definitely go again and would definitely recommend to others.

Very old pub in a lovely village. Not that far from the A1M so quite accessible. Lovely gardens with tables if the weather is good. Extensive menu with good vegetarian choices.
