"Great food and lovely staff. Awful family with lots of kids aged around 8-10 that ran around the restaurant, past our table almost constantly playing chase, somewhat spoiled the visit. We had to change tables to avoid them and the shrieking was really dreadful. After moving tables to a different area we really enjoyed it. The food was amazing and the strawberry soufflé was to die for. It would have been nice if the manager had intervened and had a word with the parents as their behaviour was completely unacceptable. I don’t like complaining and it made me rather uncomfortable having to do so. Other customers were clearly bothered by them and they nearly knocked another elderly gentleman over. On the plus side, it’s a beautiful building and the staff are so lovely. The food is fab and I would recommend it to everyone"

"First time in a pub after March 2020, but furst time ever here-it was really good! Everything is very well organized, the meal was good, nice beer Although if they would have Portuguese beer it would be even better ; , and great dessert. Thank you so much for trying your best to open the pub during these times Covid19 , after today I think I am going to check how the other pubs in Cambridge are, it's going to be difficult for them to keep up with you so well organized !!"

"The food was delivered to our lodge at the specified time and was piping hot on delivery. No vegetable pilau rice on the menu, which is my favourite, but I tried the mushroom pilau and really enjoyed this. All curries were large portions, enough so we had lots leftover for lunch the next day! £75 on takeaway for 4 adults of 3 curries, 2 starters, 3 rice and one naan to share, plus poppadom starters for 4. Like everything else at Centre Parcs we felt this was a bit more expensive than we would have paid elsewhere, but we all did really enjoy our meals. In mid-June you still had to pre-order for takeaway even, not just to eat inside at the restaurants"

"Really disappointed in our visit yesterday. 9 of us pre booked for a special occasion and advised in advance one was gluten free. We arrived 1.45 and they had already sold out of the only GF main on the menu and whilst they said they could cater for a GF roast, what this actually meant was they would just remove the half of the dinner (Yorkshire pudding, cauliflower cheese and stuffing). There was only 3 X Chicken roasts left by the time we arrived however as we left we noticed them taking orders for this again. When queried they advised 'oh we found some more chicken '. For almost £20 a roast the portions were small and we left unsatisfied. The drinks orders were wrong and the children 's food was too and needed to go back. I find it strange you do not have children 's menu 's? We looked at a dessert menu but with only a handful to choose from and 1 already sold out we did not bother. Was advised there were no Gluten Free desserts unless I wanted fruit or sorbet. Our concerns were raised whilst paying but nobody cared. We won 't be returning."
