"We had to wait about 50 minutes for our food, even the guests at the side table did so. You apologised, not with us. We had the oriental chickpea curry with tofu and the Asian vegetables wok with tofu. On both courts were 5 tofu cubes. If I look at how much beef is in comparison with the dishes, I feel a little less favoured than vegans. In the Kichererbsencurry there was no spinach to see what I was addressing directly. The service asked the cook responsible for the curry and wok dishes (open kitchen) and came back with the explanation that the baby spinach was processed in the sauce. That's what I feel. I'm not blind. It was not to see a little green in the whole curry. On the picture on the Internet you can see the baby spinach clearly. Tastefully the curry was rather faded, the sauce of the wok had a addictive effect, which makes me think of glutamate, otherwise everything fresh from the vegetables. Naan bread was delicious. As dessert, we had been looking forward to the vegan dairy with strawberry sauce, to which we were told that there was generally no more, he was unfortunately still standing on the map ahja (also on the internet), then I come back to the table again. The homemade herbalist was much too sweet to both of us. The service was friendly and helpful. Probably we just had bad luck this evening, unfortunately the holiday is around and it was always very fast booked out the days before. Reservation is recommended in high season."

"my first visit to l’Amorosa was so early that they had the old lola and simon sign above the door. the restaurant is now officially opened a few weeks and it gradually adopts its new identity. ex zafferano chef Koch andy needham works with only one kitchen assistant, cooking a somewhat simpler version of the Italian dishes he prepares for so many years in belgravia. <br/ <br/ the room is a two flat, seating up to 40 people in all, with another eight outside in good weather. the decoration is simple but tasteful with wooden floors and white walls, the lighting in the evening very low in the did standards. "We arrived a little early and as our table wasn't ready we went to wash our hands. The stench of stale urine en route should have alerted us as to what to expect. However, to our disappointment we stayed. We were given the menus and left to make our choices. The place was fairly busy and very noisy as there were a couple of large groups. Eventually the waiter and waitress?? came to take our order. We asked if it was possible to have a salad without leaves, the waitress didn't think so but would check with the chef. She came back to say no it's not possible, when we asked why the reply was he's very stubborn We ordered a bottle of champagne and asked for an ice bucket, not a cooler. The waiter and waitress returned with the bottle in a cooler, the waiter was very nervous and actually said I hate opening champagne After removing the muselet from the cork he clearly realised he'd forgotten to order something from the table next to us. He dumped the unopened bottle on the table and literally ran to the kitchen to advise the chef of his error. Back to us, he then opened the champagne and spilled a considerable amount onto the paper tablecloth which became soggy and see-through. He then went to another restaurant/venue and returned with an ice bucket Whilst this was going on the female was talking across him to ask for our food order. We ordered torched mackerel and the caramelised onion and brie tartlet to start followed by duck with sweet potato mash and chicken supreme with parmentier potatoes She returned to us a few minutes later and said can you tell me what you've order again, I forget The bread basket (which was a shop bought baguette sliced with little pats of butter) was stale The starters were hugely disappointing. The pastry case was hard tasteless and under seasoned. The filling was basically melted brie with a miniscule amount of onion on top. Mains came with exactly the same vergetable garnish, al denté carrots and a broccoli floret neither of which were seasoned. The sweet potato mash was non existent and the parmentier potatoes were in fact a very poor attempt at dauphinoise There were two older waitresses who looked and behaved utterly bored leaving these two, clearly inexperienced and untrained members of staff to do all the work. They were not nice to guests, when when people were leaving and saying goodbye they simply did not respond The table next to us was a party of six, who's dishes and dirty glasses remained on the table from before we arrived and were still there when we left After we told them how disappointed we were they did remove the starters from the bill. Despite this, it really did not make up for the catalogue of errors, poor service and appaling food. Please beware, you will not receive a good meal or service at this place."
