"I can't say enough of this little caffe. fresh, clean ingredients, mostly made to home, and other ingredients are fresh made for food that everyone would enjoy. that is really a jewel hidden in the city of edinburgh. I'm so glad we walked on this street and landed in this caffe. if they happen to travel or a local in edinburgh, they do one like and visit this little but beautiful caffe. we had sandwiches with fresh bread and tried their homemade mushroom soup. very delicious! oh, and they also have baked and cake, only for the case that they want to dessert. I also had cappuccino and my wife of the elderflower sparkling water and she loved it."

"I had a fantastic experience at Ricci's. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars for ambiance is because it was quite cold inside. Many customers had to keep their coats on, which was a bit disappointing. It was one of the coldest nights of the year, and I think they should have turned up the heating. Despite that, I still plan on returning because the food at Ricci's (and Ricci's Tapas) is the best in the area."

"The Backs is a beautiful area of the University of Cambridge where the colleges' grounds span over the River Cam. It's easy to spend a whole morning"

"Today was our first visit to the Milkbarn. Even though we had already eaten lunch, we couldn't resist trying some of their delicious ice cream. There were plenty of flavors to choose from and we were not disappointed."

"This restaurant is a bit quirky but charming in its own way. The atmosphere could be more inviting, but the staff is friendly and the fries are delicious."

"This sports bar is really excellent. The food was amazing, especially the flat iron steak on fried bread. The staff were also fantastic. I will definitely be returning! Just a heads up, the drinks here are a bit on the expensive side - £6 for a Guinness and £40 for a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc. However, the ambiance is more upscale and it is part of the IHG Indigo hotel, so it's to be expected."

"I alerted the hotel to my food intolerance (citrus fruit, causes migraines) at the time of booking, some 2 weeks prior to the event. On arriving, the lady serving looked at the note, and said Oh, I need to just talk to Chef about this ! At the time of arriving??? Chef should 've been alerted well in advance to make certain that all was citrus-free without an on-the-day panic about where citrus juice might be hiding in ingredients used. All cakes were bought-in, and frankly very dull. Two squares of victoria sandwich tray-bake with a little bit of squirty cream added to the top, and one square of a chocolate tray bake. Definitely from the Cash and Carry! The scones were also bought-in, and dusted with icing sugar to make them interesting !! A pot of tea was brought, but we had no cups and had to find a member of staff to get them. When we finished the one pot, we had to find a member of staff to get a refill! Our food was brought, but we had to ask for plates!!!!! NOBODY checked back to see if we needed anything, or if everything was OK. I 'm not blaming the one lady who was serving, as she was so overworked it was crazy, but seriously? A Best Western should be top-notch, not 3rd rate."
