"The service definitely needs improvement. The hostess who seated us in the dining area didn’t properly hand us over to the waitstaff. When the staff finally approached us, they were unaware that we had made a reservation for afternoon tea. During our meal, a staff member spilled my cup of tea twice while rearranging dishes on the table, yet they didn't offer to refill it. Additionally, there was a loud internal training session on gin for the entire waitstaff taking place right next to our table, which was quite disruptive. This was not what I expected from China Tang. While the food was decent, I was overall disappointed with the experience."

"This restaurant offers the best Chinese cuisine in Guildford. My group came for a birthday dinner on Sunday and enjoyed the buffet, which costs £22 for adults and £12 for children. They even gave us a souvenir photo of our group as a gift, which was a nice touch. The buffet concept allows customers to reorder food and have it made fresh and delivered to their table, rather than sitting out under heat lamps for hours like at standard buffets. Customers should be mindful not to overorder as food waste is taken into account. The quality of the food is consistently excellent and the service is quite fast, but it's recommended to book in advance. While it may not be the cheapest option, customers definitely get what they pay for here."

"Not the force it was. What was the top Camberley Chinese restaurant. Has now become nothing more than a cafe with overpriced food and drink. Dynasty was literally luxurious top-notch food. Gone are the days of plush seating now replaced with wooden tables and chairs. £9 for a Singapore fried rice that would hardly feed 2 people. The other dishes at £8 a pop I've disappointing at best. Not even a portion of prawn crackers Such a shame that it's reached this poor level. No disrespect to the service. The waiter was attentive and friendly. Totally let down by the overpriced poor quality food. If you're going to have a takeaway you're probably better off going next door to Mac wok away."

"This restaurant never disappoints. The food was excellent, matched by the attentive service. We met up with friends and shared the vegetarian feast. So often we go to restaurants and my vegetarian husband gets the short end of the stick, not this evening. We all thoroughly enjoyed the selection of dishes and scoffed the lot! "I was so excited to find a Chinese restaurant with a gluten free menu, so booked a table before a show at The Hippodrome. What a disappointment there was a good choice of gluten free items, but everything we ordered, both g f and not, was lukewarm. Crispy duck was dry and had obviously been sitting under a lamp for a while it wasn’t shredded at the table which is what happens at our favourite restaurants in Liverpool. Spring rolls were served on a few bits of shredded limp cabbage and carrot, no dipping sauce provided we had to ask for some and they were horrible. Gluten free chicken in honey lemon sauce was overcooked, sauce was cloying and synthetic tasting, even the rice was overcooked and lukewarm. We left a fair bit. We weren’t asked at any point if the food was ok we didn’t say anything as we had to get to the show if we’d had more time I would have sent it back. A 10% service charge was automatically added to the already expensive bill, for grumpy inattentive service. If you don’t need gluten free food, there are numerous other places nearby, many of which would undoubtedly be better than this place. If you are Coeliac, find somewhere else, or pack a picnic. Won’t be back, needless to say."

"We recently tried this restaurant for the first time using Just Eat. Our order was scheduled to arrive at but it came early, which was fantastic. We ordered around and were impressed with the delicious, hot, and high-quality meal. Our kids enjoyed it as well! We even received complimentary prawn crackers and cans of soda with our order. The delivery charge and Just Eat fee were reasonable. The total cost for our family of was satisfactory. The fortune cookies were a hit with my children. We will definitely be ordering from this restaurant again. The ribs were excellent and all of the dishes were tasty and well-prepared."

"Great, in fact fantastic food. The restaurant had a very casual and relaxing feel to it, which I liked. The decor is a bit cheesy but that's the nature of the beast. Apart from us there were over 20 other patrons, all Chinese. Obviously you feel reassured of food quality if actual Chinese people are frequenting the restaurant and having a good time. If I had to picky, I'd say the main waiter, with the ear ring!, needs to cheer up a little. At least look like you enjoy the job mate...."

"The restaurant has delicious food and friendly staff. We first tried it a year ago when our usual Friday night spot was closed, and we haven't returned to our old place since. "If you really knew what happens in this place you wouldn't wish to eat there. If your a veggie watch out the kitchen use boiled chicken water even in egg fried rice or veggie curry. The rice that get served if not used goes back into the streamer to be re served to another customer. It's as fresh as coming out freezers and packets look as you go to the small smelling toilets there a freezer on right just open it up The list goes on including there back area where staff toilet is has meat left out in open. Fridge is not stacked to how government hygiene says it should be. The owner not owners if you look it up does not care and finds it funny if someone wishes to make a comment. Service is slow and just about par but not for price you pay. Hot pot is hot s**t all from packets and been defrosted more then a couple of times for some parts of it. Yes hygiene inspector is being called and photo's will be on way."
