"I LOVE Caribbean food. FACT! I 'd go as far as saying it 's up there with Thai as my favourite cuisine. Bristol has a number of excellent independent Caribbean restaurants that 'look ' and feel much more authentic. So expectations weren 't that high for the food, but I was expecting a good time. From the outside Turtle Bay looks fun and you can tell before you get inside that looks you 're going to have a good time. The big windows allow you to see in from afar and just the sight of people drinking cocktails is enough to draw you in. That, couples with the outdoor seating bang in the centre of town, Turtle Bay couldn 't look more appealing. In my eyes anyway! As you walk in you get straight to the central bar, which, if I 'm honest, doesn 't feel that well positions. Behind that, however, is a wall made of speakers. I 'm a music lover so I absolutely loved it; "i want a wall of speakers ' I believe were my exact words! And I am tempted! I 've actually eaten here 3 times now and Ive had the Pulled Chicken, Shrimp Curry Jerk Chicken. I was extremely impressed with all of them. Turtle Bay do a light menu that is available all day and all dishes on the menu are £6.85 absolutely bargain! Turtle Bay also have an extensive cocktail list with 2 4 1 offers. I 'll have to check the days and times, but I think they are every day until 7pm I 'll check and edit if I 'm wrong! Again, I 've tried a few, but the stand outs for me are Marley Mojiti and the Jammin '. The Jammin ' and comes with a spoonful of Jam in. Love it! All in all I 've been thoroughly impressed every time I 've been, and I 'm sure to be back again soon."

"12 of us went for a work Christmas dinner. Booked by someone else. I was the first person to arrive and was invited to either wait at the table or the bar I decided to get a drink drink first and before I’d finished ordering my drink everyone else started to arrive were told that we had the table for 2 hours. We all went to the table and had sent our food order 2 days before as requested, which they had lost so we then had to order individually from the menu and wait longer for the order to be cooked. The food on the whole was delicious, if I were to be picky the prawns were overcooked but they were still tasty, and everyone else enjoyed theirs. The waitress barely smiled the whole 2 hours we had the table and proceeded to come over with a card reader to ask for payment whilst we were all still eating stating we had 10 minutes! If they hadn’t of lost our order and the service was a little quicker we would’ve finished our food before the allotted time. If this had been the end of the visit the rating would have been lower, but 2 members of bar staff bumped it up. They couldn’t have been better, happy, helpful and highly efficient. We had moved to the bar area and they kept me topped up with iced water all night (designated driver) often coming over and just topping me up. I appreciate Christmas in the hospitality trade is manic at Xmas but rude staff are not acceptable when we spent a lot of money which we all worked hard to earn. It’s also not made clear that there is such a short time limit on the table."

"Turtle Bay on Oahu's North Shore is an incredible destination that offers a blend of natural beauty and resort amenities, making it perfect for visitors seeking both relaxation and adventure. The beach itself is part of the larger Turtle Bay Resort, but it's open to the public, providing a beautiful spot to enjoy swimming, snorkeling, and possibly spotting some of the sea turtles that give the bay its name. Kuilima Cove, located within Turtle Bay, is ideal for snorkeling, especially for beginners. The water is often calm thanks to the protective reef, and there’s a lifeguard on duty most of the time, adding an extra layer of safety. The visibility is excellent, and you can explore a variety of marine life just a few feet from the shore. Parking at Turtle Bay Resort can be a bit pricey, with a fee of around $35 per night for resort guests, but there are also some free parking options available if you’re just visiting the beach for the day. However, these spots tend to fill up quickly, so it’s advisable to arrive early, especially on weekends. One of the highlights of Turtle Bay is the array of activities available both on and off the water. Whether you're interested in stand-up paddleboarding, outrigger canoe tours, or simply lounging on the beach, there’s something for everyone. The resort itself also offers a range of dining options and cultural experiences like lei-making and ukulele lessons. Overall, Turtle Bay provides a serene and scenic experience that showcases the best of Oahu’s North Shore. Just be prepared for some parking challenges and consider the additional costs if you're planning to stay at the resort."

"princes square houses numerous restaurants and another one has just the party above. which was between cranachan and zizzi earlier a small coffee shop, hidden behind it a lot of space. the man behind barca cranachan has gone all Americans on us and ny american grill is the result. the manager, leanne, explained how much research and preparation went into each element – from the selection of cocktails to the design of the restaurant. the big train for me is that they have a special jospur grill that was cooked food to 700 degrees to give a carburized taste without making anything bone dry. I have to admit that I managed to see burger in the minute, so was glad to open the menu and find (in addition to the burger) that we had been invited to get a proper food. that said, we started with the NY plate for two consisting of calamari, chicken wings, crabs and cheese wobble bonbons. the wings were chosen for our favorite – tasty without too thick sauce. I enjoyed the crab bites and I will be back to order them again and the bonbons made me feel cheeky, not exactly the healthiest things in the world (but oh so delicious). calamari needed a bit for my taste in terms of cooking time and seasoned, but without doubt they will perfect this in the time. I made an epic mistake at this place – I ordered a milkshake. I know I'm too excited and ordered most of the drink there before I eat my main course. I didn't have a real shake so long that I had to have it right away. When it arrived, it was a little weak on the earth's side, but as soon as I mentioned it to a worker, they pushed it away and made it new for me. after I was in the night before I know that they have to iron this kink, but I was impressed by how ready they were to make the dinge right for all. then there were ribs, because what is the dinner at an American joint without ripp? when we started eating, they seem a bit overdue, but actually they were cooked in the middle perfectly. they are served with mais and their own renovated koleslaw, but we ordered riders because it seemed strange not to have them. we both wanted steak, I had no doubt. I am a happy lady to have an understanding husband who will share all his food with me so I can write about it. ribeye has in the rule the sibling of the fat we are looking for without costing fat, so we went for the 10oz, but they can also get a 14oz. that was when the Jospur grill came in fruit. it was juicy and tasty (I think they would be a kind of precooking marinade on or something) and just all round delicious. the water circles, tomaten and pommes were ridicule-on and the pfeffer sauce we had chosen was a little over pfeffer, but excess of requirements anyway. on the other side called me the cocktail list and served as a fine sweet tasty bite. our waiter was eager to help ask what kind of cocktails I like, and thought I like a liberty rose. think they parma violet with a noble edge and some roses throw it, mmm!Cocktail wise herr s chooses in the rule an old fashion or a caipirinha and whisky won on this day. instead of being served only over ice, the cocktail came in a small crug on ice with the glass. someone at the table loved this idea and shows since humans. there were a few dings that need to be adapted, but overall we left with a really positive opinion of ny american grill. it will be convenient for post-shopping food and pre all cocktails. next time I feel mischievous and ready for some American dug I will be in, perhaps for the pre-theater menu.N.B - we got our food for half price as part of a VIP night. I was not obliged to write about the night, and this supplement contains my honest opinions."
