"in the grass market square, joto behind the castle of edinburg, this American style pizzeria offers a menu full of novelties, because it merges typical ingredients of Scottish food with traditional Italian American cuisine. is a small place, well decorated and quite pleasant, in which usually in peak hours the best option is to book. Usually, as in most of the united kingdom, pizzas are measured in inches or inches, approx. One of the 12 is for two people. In this case the pizzas are made by choice and ingredients. "This restaurant should not be serving food they have no knowledge on. Apparently a Shwarma and a donor are the same thing! (NOT) The menu gives an option of salad which consist of JUST lettuce. When I called to enquire why I had just received lettuce on my so called Shwarma i was advised I have to request this.. im.sorry did I miss something, a salad is a mixture of ingredients.. What a Joke! Food arrived 2 hours after ordering Stone cold. Straight in the bin! Waste of time and money!"

"We went to FireJacks the other day before going to the cinema, As it happened we arrived earlier than the time the table was booked for, We went in&were greeted by a nice young lady who had a ready smile,said no problems then let us choose a table which was great. We sat down and checked out the drinks menu I had a delicous beer which had a goose on the pump handle, the beer was refreshing and tasty, we then went on to order our main courses which were both hot and delicous, I had the Shrimps which were lovely&fresh, we then went onto our mains which were also amazing, I had a firejacks grill which had chicken wings,shrimps,pork ribs,a redslaw& a side of chips which was delicous, they have a wide range of sauces to choose from to compliment your food. we then went onto have puddings which were fantastic. The only downside was my fiancee wanted some Thousand island or seafood sauce neither were available."

"We took a group of 37 students from the United States to eat here. It was prearranged by our tour company; and it was one of the last meals we ate on our long vacation. We had grown accustomed to average to bland food on this trip. But this meal was very tasty, hot, and homemade (clearly not a boxed kit). The service was amazing (which isn’t always the case with large groups, additionally coming from the States where wait staff’s try hard because their tips are dependent on it). The animatronic Elephant in the courtyard was a big hit with teenagers and adults and chaperones equally. It was a great experience and good food served by good people."

"We had a reservation for 1 PM and arrived a few minutes early. Although the lights were on, the doors were locked. We entered through the hotel entrance and found an inner door where we could see a man at the bar. I knocked, but he didn’t acknowledge us. I knocked again and informed him that we had a reservation. He told us he wasn’t ready yet. At this point, it was around 1:05 PM, and the pub was supposed to open at noon. He left us waiting outside and didn’t even let us in to sit down. Frustrated, we decided to leave and look for another place. Just as we were exiting the garden area around 1:10 PM, the man opened the doors and gestured for us to come in. I told him that I had never encountered such poor service, mentioned our reservation, and noted that we had two children with us. He claimed he wasn’t aware of any booking. Regardless, he should have let us in when I stated we had a reservation. His response that he wasn’t ready was incredibly rude and unprofessional."

"The Anchor is in many ways your typical English pub it is a welcoming and friendly place and the interior is well decorated giving a warm atmosphere. However it not a particularly family orientated place and you don 't see many young children here. This pub is fairly large when you compare it to others, which makes it good if you are desperate for a seat as there are plenty! There are also a few pool tables at the back, as well as a typical fruit machine, and it is a popular place for both adults and students alike to relax in at any time of the day. Every Monday this pub puts on a pound a pint night, which for one night a week attracts a much more studenty crowd and with cheap prices what can you expect! Also to cater for students, they offer a cheap menu with deals such as 'two meals for £5.50 ', making it an easy option to eat in! Students and the general public who are 18+ are catered for well. I personally find going to this pub a pleasurable and enjoyable experience, and on a Monday night it is great fun if you and your friends are out and fancy a more sociable environment."

"It happened late on a Sunday night. We were greeted by the minute we arrived and assured that they were more than happy to put us for food, even the service came to an end. The food was really good quality, fresh and boiled well prepared... the waitress was top drawing, pleasant and polite. We did not feel disappointed in any way the delay of the hour. A pleasant atmosphere with a beautiful transverse breeze from the open windows in the porch style. All in all this little jewel ended our evening beautifully. Thank you."

"Visited on Mother’s Day with my wife and 2 children. The service was excellent. We were very surprised at how quickly the main meals came out. The food was good quality and the children’s menu excellent value with a good selection. The Happy Hour cocktails were also good value and quality, but I feel that a larger selection of drinks could be added to the Happy Hour menu. The menu isn’t the cheapest, and a few of the items I feel are overpriced compared to local alternatives for example the 10oz Ribeye at £24. Overall a good experience and will visit again"

"the place has a sporty feeling, so if they are looking for something funny, they go somewhere else. However, we were pleasantly surprised by the great selection of vegan options on the menu. We had to place the order on the bar, but the meals came very fast, within few minutes. we decided to try the Bao-Back with drawn jackfruits, and although they had to replace one of the ingredients as they ran out of it, it was delicious. the Butternuss-Quash mac cheese, on the other hand, had a mild taste and was quite averaged, but there are different dressings to choose to adapt it to their lust. just be careful, not all dressings on the table are vegan, they need to read the label. we come back safely and try other items from the menu, such as grilled vegan cheese or vegan breakfast."

"visited with a group of 18 to the breakfast. the staff was very accommodating to put all of us together at a place, even bringing an additional table when the number of what was expected increased. I had a big frit that filled my plate. coffee and teapots were regularly refreshed without it having to be demanded. the breakfast lasted a few hours, which is normal for our group. the coffee was good as the frit. beautiful clean cozy furnishings. they give me how if they found it helpful."

"the carnaby street makes the events always and then we use a newer for a cheaper (cough, bargain) dinner at dirty bones. there are three bige of dirty bones in carnaby, soho and shoreditch. her menu is new york style eating American comfort, so it was one I had my eye for some time. Also, I love the carnaby street area, it is a nice little retreat from the mass and tourist traps. what have we ordered? we had a lot of fried chicken, the bark short nativity and truffle friars. the short nativity should have been an salate. but we were happy with our error order, and it was my favorite of the table. the BBQ sauce on the ribs is aromatized by salted caramel and burnt bevel, so they know that there are some delicious sweet notes. the fried chicken fell a bit flatter, which was disappointed as one of the things we were most happy."

"I recently had the best fish and chips I've had in a long time at this restaurant. My two daughters also loved their meals, with one having chicken nuggets and the other having wings, both with chips and curry sauce. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals and will definitely be returning for more delicious food.
