"We had to see some important clients in Canary Wharf earlier in the week. We booked this restaurant as they expressed a liking for indian food and the location was perfect. We arrived ten minutes early, and the waiter very kindly pointed us to a parking place very near. The restaurant was split into two, with the ground floor serving Italian food and the upstairs serving Indian food. It was modern and clean and was right on the wharf, with expensive yachts parked on the Quay. The menu was very, very extensive, with some dishes I had not heard of before. We ordered a cross-section of vegetarian and meat/chicken dishes. These dishes turned up almost immediately, and none of them were freshly prepared. We got the impression everything was just reheated. None of the food was hot, not even the nan breads or Roti. The service was very amateur, though friendly enough. There were a total of five of us eating. Three of the others shared a bottle of Rioja, one had a beer, and we used three bottles of water. No one wanted a dessert. The food was cheap for the area, but it would have been much better to increase the prices and also the quality. The menu should (in our opinion) be reduced to a manageable length size so that it could all be prepared properly. The total bill was just under ÂŁ200 and 12.5% service charge was added, making it ÂŁ222. There were not a lot of clients in either the Indian of Italian parts of the restaurant, though our booking qas early at 6.30pm (leaving at 9pm) When we left we thought what a shame, for such a nicely presented venue, in a unique setting."

"This Chinese restaurant is no longer in operation, yet it can still be booked through OpenTable. We had made a reservation to celebrate Chinese New Year, which was confirmed, but upon arriving at the address, we were informed over the phone that it had closed down and was now serving a completely different type of cuisine. Unfortunately, we couldn't find another restaurant to book through OpenTable because it conflicted with our original reservation time!"

"We had a great time at this restaurant! The food was quite delicious, with an interesting selection of pan-Asian dishes. The starters were especially tasty. While the service was a bit slow when it came to taking orders, once our order was in, the food arrived quickly. However, our drink orders seemed to take a long time to come out. The staff were friendly, and we had a pleasant evening overall. We would recommend this place."

"We used to live in Greenwich about five years ago and dined at the Nude Restaurant every week. I absolutely adore this place. After moving away from Greenwich, the only thing we miss about the town is this restaurant. Last week, I returned to Greenwich with my wife and we went back to the restaurant. It was so heartwarming to see that everything was still the same. We enjoyed our lunch there just as much as before. This restaurant will always hold a special place in our hearts."

"I would love for this review to be a 5 but unfortunately, I am unable to do that. Upon booking the table over a week before our visit I was told that the table would be ours for the evening because we were a large group. We were asked to pay a £10 deposit per person this was absolutely fine and we all paid well in advance. The table was booked for a hen/birthday party so we were all looking forward to a nice meal before heading out for the rest of the night. Unfortunately though, this didn’t happen. I had originally booked the table for 7:30pm, however on the day of the booking it was obvious to us that getting there for that time was going to be a struggle so I rang the restaurant and ask if it was okay for us to arrive for 8pm instead. The woman on the phone said this was absolutely fine and actually thanked me for letting them know well in advance. We all arrived just after 8pm (11 of us in total and were seated quickly. This is where everything began to go downhill… it was at least 10 20 minutes before our drinks order was taken and then a further 20 minutes before the waitress took our food order. A couple of people in our party ordered 2 4 1 cocktails and after waiting a further 20 minutes after everyone else’s drinks arrived the waitress came to tell us that they were waiting for the ingredients as the cocktails were coming from the bar next door. So by this time it’s about 9pm and the cocktails still haven’t arrived. So we asked the waitress where the drinks were and shortly after the cocktails arrived We did complain about this and was told that because of the long wait, the price of the cocktails would be taken off of the bill. I don’t think this would’ve happened though if we hadn’t made a fuss about how long it took. That was just the start… Finally after around 75 minutes of waiting, our starters finally arrive which tasted lovely. We then waited a further 30 minutes before we had to ask where our mains were and the waitress went to check. It’s now 10pm and we’ve been in the restaurant 2 hours! The waitress comes back and says it’ll be another 10 minutes. We all then collectively decided that we were going to leave it as we’d already missed another reservation we had and we were on a Hen Do! We were meant to be having dinner and going on a night out we’d had enough! A few minutes later, the waitress comes out and tells us (conveniently our food was ready; But by this time we were fed up and had decided to leave. Shortly after we told the waitress, “sorry, no thank you, we’re fed up” the owner(? comes out from the kitchen and demands we stay to eat the food. We apologise and explain that we’ve been waiting over two hours and we have decided we want to leave and as we had previously explained to the waitress that we had other plans for the evening. The woman then starts shouting at us and accusing us of being over an hour late to our reservation and demands the waitress gets the order receipt to prove herself right! When we said that this doesn’t prove anything because the waitress took ages to even take our order and that I had called to tell them we wanted to move our reservation to 8pm, she then says that we hadn’t paid our deposit and we couldn’t leave! She then was just arguing with different members of our party until we all just got up and left. We wasn’t rude to anyone and we just wanted a nice meal that wasn’t going to take an entire evening to arrive. They knew it was a hen party and that we were planning to be out afterwards and they just took the mick. Throughout the two hours there, we were polite and respectful the restaurant was so deadly quiet I don’t think anyone wanted to disturb anyone. The atmosphere was completely dead and felt awkward. So we all left the restaurant, hungry, disappointed and annoyed at the treatment we had received. It ruined the beginning of a night we had planned for 9 months and it’s just not okay. To be honest, if they had apologised and treated us differently, we probably would’ve stayed and enjoyed the food. If the restaurant cannot handle large bookings, they shouldn’t accept them. The Lek Thai lost a lot of money that night."

"We had a fantastic evening at this restaurant. Our group was a bit lively because of the special occasion, but the staff were amazing and very accommodating. Our group said it was the best party they've ever had. A truly wonderful place."

"I had to borrow cantonese food. I ordered both takeaway and I was in the restaurant a few times and it was always good. after a short wait the deliveries always arrived and the food was of good quality. the service in restaurant is welcoming and attentive. they have a very large menu and cover different areas in asia, which makes it sometimes quite difficult to decide. eating is never disappointed and this is definitely one of the better Chinese restaurants in the environment."

"The food had a strange taste to it. The Coke was warm and the portion of duck in the duck fried rice was very small. I didn't eat much of it because it tasted strange.. I would recommend avoiding this restaurant."

"beautiful decor, a lot of seating, in front of the parking lot. nice eating, spicy dishes have a decent kick, good menu choices; from noodles, through steak to burger. also decent dessert options. good customer service. during our visit there were some minor errors / misunderstandings, but everything was quickly and politely solved. only advice/proposals for management. please turn off the music a bit. it's hard to talk. also, please be more efficient once asked for a bill. if the customer asks for a bill, it is not good to wait 10 minutes."

"Eventually, our starters were brought out, but then they asked if they could serve the mains right away. I had to decline since we had only received one of the four starters we had ordered. As for the starters, I would recommend avoiding the garlic king prawns as they lacked flavor. The Adaraki lamb chops were decent, while the chili paneer and Tiranga chicken tikka were quite good. Unfortunately, most of the starters were only mildly warm, likely because they were held back to be served with the mains. As for the mains, the southern railway lamb curry (which had been recommended by the waiter) was quite disappointing. I managed to eat just two bites, and my partner didn’t touch it at all. I informed the waiter about this, but we were still charged for it, despite it being 90% untouched. The chicken biryani was good, and the chicken Chettinad was enjoyable, while the lentils were average. The naan bread and mocktails, however, were excellent. Given this experience, it's unlikely that I'll return. I should mention that I received a 16.5% discount with a code I used (foodaddict1) and opted not to pay the service charge. Even with the discount, the bill came to £100.90."

"We sat upstairs, where throughout the entire meal the waiting staff either hovered at the top of the stairs just a few feet away from us or chatted. We will not be back as the food was not as good as usually either. Think the chef and the owners must of changed at what was once a great Chinese restaurant"

"Food comes in time. Well cooked and tasty. Friendly staff (don't get that often) good to have that here. Very amazing cocktails, in my words. Also, I'm not one to leave reviews unless they are super super good or I'm making a complaint as they help others not to go there... to avoid stories that touch the heart. Thank you JoyKitchen for your services. We enjoyed ourselves much!!!! See you all again soon."

"Whilst in the capital for the fringe, my friend i decided on having some chinese food for lunch..Wish we hadnt!! Came across The Golden Dragon, looked lovely from the outside, very dated inside...Not a great selection on the menu the daily specials board, seems to have been the same daily specials for quite some time, going by some of the photos posted by previous diners... we decided on chicken satay fried rice, sweet n sour chicken boiled rice, portion of prawn crackers, we didnt have any starters, 1 diet coke 1 small glass of water... the food wasnt that great to be honest for the extortionate cost, the satay was tasteless chicken was quite rubbery.. The rice arrived in small silver dishes, was actually very stodgy, like it had been over boiled... we ate what we ate asked for the bill.... ÂŁ53!!!! the rice wasnt included in the cost of the chicken dishes, seriously must be the dearest rice in scotland, there was literally 3 spoonfuls in each silver pot!! 3 young lads at next table all had rice dishes, no starters a portion of curry sauce chips, also a beer each, they're bill was over ÂŁ90!!! Certainly wont be rushing back to Golden Dragon next time i'm in Edinburgh!!"

"I had been looking forward to eating at Nancy's restaurant for a while and finally got the opportunity to go for my wife's birthday. It exceeded my expectations - Nancy cooked our food with care, using incredibly fresh and tasty ingredients. Everyone in our group loved their meals. Adding to the experience, Nancy even came to our table at the end of the meal, making for a delightful end to the evening. She mentioned that the restaurant may be closing soon, so if you're considering visiting, I suggest going as soon as possible!"
